Changing The Rules Again; Libs Desperate To Hold Onto Kennedy Senate Seat

The Liberals will do anything to hold onto power. Anything.

So desperate are they, they once again are trying to change the rules in Massachusetts, so that Dead Ted Tumor Head Kennedy's vacant U.S. Senate Seat remains in the hands of a Liberal. From the WSJ, prior to Fat Ted's death:

Senator Ted Kennedy, who is gravely ill with brain cancer, has sent a letter to Massachusetts lawmakers requesting a change in the state law that determines how his Senate seat would be filled if it became vacant before his eighth full term ends in 2012. Current law mandates that a special election be held at least 145 days after the seat becomes available. Mr. Kennedy is concerned that such a delay could leave his fellow Democrats in the Senate one vote short of a filibuster-proof majority for months while a special election takes place.

    [...]

What Mr. Kennedy doesn't volunteer is that he orchestrated the 2004 succession law revision that now requires a special election, and for similarly partisan reasons. John Kerry, the other Senator from the state, was running for President in 2004, and Mr. Kennedy wanted the law changed so the Republican Governor at the time, Mitt Romney, could not name Mr. Kerry's replacement. "Prodded by a personal appeal from Senator Edward M. Kennedy," reported the Boston Globe in 2004, "Democratic legislative leaders have agreed to take up a stalled bill creating a special election process to replace U.S. Senator John F. Kerry if he wins the presidency." Now that the state has a Democratic Governor, Mr. Kennedy wants to revert to gubernatorial appointments.

Beacon Hill has long sported heavy Democratic majorities, so the state legislature has the votes to grant Mr. Kennedy's wish. But does it have the chutzpah? An election is the more democratic option. After witnessing recent attempts by incompetent Governors in Illinois and New York to fill Senate vacancies, Massachusetts voters may have soured on such appointments. Especially when Mr. Kennedy's motivation for changing the law is so obviously born of partisan interest, not principle.

At least he can't kill anyone, or leave them to die, anymore.

Yes, an election would be the more democratic option, but don't kid yourselves; the last thing Democrats are for or support is real democracy.

No...no Liberal Elitism or Agenda here. Move along. Move along.

Ted Kennedy Joked About Chappaquiddick

A friend of Dead Fat Ted Tumor Head Kennedy says the bloated, now dead Liar of the Senate enjoyed a robust appetite of humor and jokes about Chappaquiddick, the incident and location of where he so callously and deliberately left a woman to die. Examiner:

As the media continues to revere the life of recently deceased Senator Ted Kennedy, there is something they fail to mention: Kennedy liked to joke about Chappaquiddick.

During a discussion on “The Diane Rehm Show” on National Public Radio, Edward Klein – a friend of Ted’s – reminisced about Kennedy. The former editor-in-chief of The New York Times Magazine and former foreign editor of Newsweek stated:

[Laughter] I don't know if you know this or not, but one of his favorite topics of humor was indeed Chappaquiddick itself. And he would ask people, ‘Have you heard any new jokes about Chappaquiddick?’ I mean that is just the most amazing thing. It's not that he didn't feel remorse about the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, but that he still always saw the other side of everything and the ridiculous side of things, too.

Wow, that's funny material to mine for comedic fodder, huh...the death of a woman in your car. I must be missing the subtle nuances of Liberal humor in an incident where you leave a woman to drown in a car, making no effort to rescue her and returning to your hotel room and crawl into bed, waiting until the next day before reporting the incident to the authorities. What exactly is the "ridiculous side" to Chappaquiddick?

And some Blubbering-teary-eyed Liberals wonder I don't give a flying fcuk that this Fat Fcuk is Dead?

Uncle Teddy has been in Hell for five days now. Yes, I am counting the days.

We owe the malignant glioma tumor that killed Fat Ted a debt of gratitude for removing this piece of human debris from the face of the earth.

Cheers!

Harry Reid Hopes The Las Vegas Review-Journal Goes Out of Business

I bet if you're a member of the Insane Liberal Clown Posse (ILCP) you actually believe that Liberal politicians care about American jobs and American workers. If you believe this, you have needle track marks on your arms and between your toes. Because you're no longer drinking the Kool-Aid, you're injecting it intravenously.

CommieCrat Senate Majority Leader (heh...Leader...) Harry ReidTard wishes one of his home state newspapers goes out of business. Las Vegas Review-Journal:

This newspaper traces its roots to before Las Vegas was Las Vegas.

We've seen cattle ranches give way to railroads. We chronicled the construction of Hoover Dam. We reported on the first day of legalized gambling. The first hospital. The first school. The first church. We survived the mob, Howard Hughes, the Great Depression, several recessions, two world wars, dozens of news competitors and any number of two-bit politicians who couldn't stand scrutiny, much less criticism.

    [...]

We're still here doing what we do for the people of Las Vegas and Nevada. So, let me assure you, if we weathered all of that, we can damn sure outlast the bully threats of Sen. Harry Reid.

On Wednesday, before he addressed a Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon, Reid joined the chamber's board members for a meet-'n'-greet and a photo. One of the last in line was the Review-Journal's director of advertising, Bob Brown, a hard-working Nevadan who toils every day on behalf of advertisers. He has nothing to do with news coverage or the opinion pages of the Review-Journal.

Yet, as Bob shook hands with our senior U.S. senator in what should have been nothing but a gracious business setting, Reid said: "I hope you go out of business."

Later, in his public speech, Reid said he wanted to let everyone know that he wants the Review-Journal to continue selling advertising because the Las Vegas Sun is delivered inside the Review-Journal.

    Such behavior cannot go unchallenged.

You could call Reid's remark ugly and be right. It certainly was boorish. Asinine? That goes without saying.

But to fully capture the magnitude of Reid's remark (and to stop him from doing the same thing to others) it must be called what it was -- a full-on threat perpetrated by a bully who has forgotten that he was elected to office to protect Nevadans, not sound like he's shaking them down.

No citizen should expect this kind of behavior from a U.S. senator. It is certainly not becoming of a man who is the majority leader in the U.S. Senate. And it absolutely is not what anyone would expect from a man who now asks Nevadans to send him back to the Senate for a fifth term.

If he thinks he can push the state's largest newspaper around by exacting some kind of economic punishment in retaliation for not seeing eye to eye with him on matters of politics, I can only imagine how he pressures businesses and individuals who don't have the wherewithal of the Review-Journal.

For the sake of all who live and work in Nevada, we can't let this bully behavior pass without calling out Sen. Reid. If he'll try it with the Review-Journal, you can bet that he's tried it with others. So today, we serve notice on Sen. Reid that this creepy tactic will not be tolerated.

We won't allow you to bully us. And if you try it with anyone else, count on going through us first.

    That's a promise, not a threat.

Petty, Petulant and Cowardly Harry ReidTard.
A yeoman example of Liberal Elitism.

Poor Harry. He can't handle the criticism. He doesn't want to be held accountable or responsible for his actions and his words. He doesn't want to be questioned. What does he do? What does he say? He says he wishes for an organization that employees people - an enterprise that creates jobs and pays taxes and probably sponsors a whole bunch of charitable and non-profit events - goes out of business.

Nope...no Liberal Elitism here. Move along, people...move along.

Pbamanomics Forces More Bank Failures

More bank failures and closures last Friday.

That Barry Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama Hitler, Junior guy...he's sure doing a Heckuva job, ain't he? Just a Heckuva Job!

Year-to-date bank closures reaches 84. CNN Money:

Regional banks in Maryland, Minnesota and California were closed by regulators Friday, bringing the total number of failed banks this year to 84, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation said.

Baltimore, Md.-based Bradford Bank, which operated nine branches, will reopen Monday as part of Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company.

M&T, which is based in Albany, N.Y., agreed to assume all of Bradford Bank's $383 million in deposits and will purchase "essentially all" of its $452 million in assets, the FDIC said.

In Minnesota, the eight branches of Mainstreet Bank of Forest Lake will be taken over by Stillwater-based Central Bank.

    [...]

With Friday's closures, the number of banks shut this year is more than three times the number of banks that failed in 2008, and it's the highest tally since 1992, when 181 banks failed.

The majority of this year's failures have been small, regional banks that fell victim to losses on real estate and consumer loans as unemployment surged to a 25-year high. But there have also been a number of large institutions closed in 2009.

Last week, regulators in Texas closed Guaranty Bank, which had about $13 billion in assets and was the third-largest bank to fail this year. That came one week after Alabama-based Colonial BancGroup became the sixth-largest bank failure in U.S. history on Aug. 15.

The wave of failures is expected to continue, raising concerns about the size of the FDIC's insurance fund.

Barry is doing a Heckuva Job and if you think differently, well...obviously you're unAmerican!

It's a good thing Barry is in Charge. Otherwise we'd have to listen to the LiberNazis piss and moan about the economy and the alarming number of bank failures. If Barry didn't have the Magic L ("Liberal") behind his name...omg...the Insane Liberal Clown Posse (ILCP) would be projectile vomiting blood. But they remain the dutiful, obedient, mum-is-the-word - never criticizing their Fraudulent Prophet - over the abject failures of their Messyiah. Good little Cultists they are, yes? They take the Kool-Aid intravenously these days.

Robert Schindler Dies;
Father of Terri Schiavo

Robert Schindler, the father of Terri Schiavo, has died at the age of 71. AP:

The father of Terri Schiavo, who became a national symbol in a closely watched right-to-die fight, has died, his son said Saturday. Robert Schindler was 71.

Schindler, a tireless activist through years of legal wrangling, died from heart failure at a hospital in St. Petersburg. Terri Schiavo, who courts ruled was in a "persistent vegetative state," died in 2005 after the feeding tube that had nourished her for years was removed according to her husband's wishes.

"I am heartbroken over the loss of my father and yet I know at this moment he is rejoicing with my sister, Terri," his son, Bobby Schindler, said Saturday in a statement.

    [...]

...family members described Schindler as a compassionate man who led with a quiet strength during the hardest times.

"Even at the height of the battle to save my sister Terri's life, when his patience and temperance was near exhaustion, he managed to display a gentleness of spirit," Bobby Schindler said.

Robert Schindler and other family members founded the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation after her death in 2005.

Rest in Peace Mr. Schindler. Condolences to his family and friends.

Michael Jackson's Death Ruled a Homicide

I know I'm late in catching up with the headline of this story, but wanted to mention it because of the deserved coverage of the untimely death of Michael Jackson.

His death has been ruled as a homicide. LA Times:

The Los Angeles County coroner's office said Friday that it had officially ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide and determined that a surgical anesthetic combined with other medication killed him.

In a one-page statement, officials listed the cause of Jackson's June 25 death as "acute propofol intoxication" with the additional factor of "benzodiazepine effect."

Three different sedatives that fall into the benzodiazepine drug class were in Jackson's system, but only the anti-anxiety medication lorazepam, often known by the brand name Ativan, was cited alongside propofol as "the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson's death."

Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, has acknowledged administering both medications to Jackson in the hours leading up to his death, according to search warrant affidavits.

The cardiologist told detectives that in an effort to get the insomniac singer to sleep on the morning of his death he administered the sedatives lorazepam, midazolam and diazepam, and that when they proved ineffective, he complied with Jackson's request for propofol, a powerful anesthetic intended for use in operating rooms, the affidavits state.

Toxicology tests also detected two other medications, the local anesthetic lidocaine and ephedrine, commonly used as a stimulant, according to the coroner's statement.

The complete toxicology results and the final coroner's report were not made public at the request of the LAPD and the Los Angeles County district attorney's office, the coroner's office said.

The coroner's classification of homicide -- the killing of one person by another -- does not always translate into criminal charges, and those close to the investigation have said Jackson's history of drug use and health problems could complicate any prosecution.

But the designation was additional confirmation that Murray, already identified in search warrant documents as the target of a manslaughter investigation, remained the focus of the ongoing, multi-agency inquiry into the entertainer's sudden death.

A law enforcement source told The Times on Friday that toxicology reports have led investigators to suspect that Murray gave Jackson more propofol than he told police. Murray's attorney answered that allegation by calling on authorities to release the entire report so independent experts could examine the results.

Saturday, August 29, was Jackson's 51st birthday.

Fans from around the world - from Mexico to the UK to Paris - celebrated Jackson's birthday. Hundreds performed the dance steps from the "Thriller" video.

Ted Kennedy Planted

The Unindicted Manslaughterer, raging alcoholic, serial philanderer, never-met-a-tax-hike-he-didn't-love, college test cheating, good Catholic boy, trust fund baby and longtime CommieCrat U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy was planted on Saturday.

He's worm food. (Sound effects of cocktail glasses clinking together in celebratory glee!)

It's too bad this despicable wretch has to sully Arlington National Cemetery. Regarding
Fat Ted Tumor Head Kennedy's military service. From NNDB:

Kennedy earned C grades at the private Milton Academy, but was admitted to Harvard as a "legacy" -- his father and older brothers had attended there, so the younger and dimmer Kennedy's admission was virtually assured. While attending, he was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him. While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to England, pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea, where a war was raging. Kennedy was assigned to Paris, never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged.

While attending law school at the University of Virginia, he was cited for reckless driving four times, including once when he was clocked driving 90 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood with his headlights off after dark. Yet his Virginia driver's license was never revoked.

And we know the rest of the story, Chappaquiddick, where he so callously and deliberately left Mary Jo Kopechne to die while returning to his hotel room and going to bed. Nice guy, huh? He didn't bother to report the "accident" until the next day. An outstanding citizen by any stretch of the Liberal imagination, yes?

Yeah, he's an icon, all right. He was a terrorist sympathizer who sided with the IRA.

This is the kind of scum that The Liberals respect...Ted Kennedy.

I wonder what time on Saturday the first alcoholic beverage was poured by a Kennedy prior to the funeral? Or were they still drowning their sorrw from Friday night? I wonder how many drinks his son, Druggy Patrick Kennedy had, mixed with various prescription drugs in the benzodiazepine family, before he summoned the courage to stand and deliver a bunch of lies about his old man?

We owe a debt of gratitude to the glioma tumor. Who could have guessed that it would be a malignant glioma tumor, and not years of chronic, unabated and raging alcoholism or massive weight gain, that would do Kennedy in?

DJ AM Found Dead, Likey OD

Talented DJ,
DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein, is dead at the age of 36. NY Daily News:

When cops rolled over the body of celebrity spinner DJ AM Friday night, they discovered a near-empty bag of crack stuck to his chest, a police source said Saturday.

The 36-year-old ex-fiance of Nicole Richie, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was discovered in bed wearing only sweatpants at his $2 million SoHo pad, sources said.

"He hadn't been there long," a police source said.

Investigators found a glass crack pipe in his bedroom and at least seven bottles of prescription drugs on his kitchen counter, including the anti-anxiety drug Xanax, sources said.

Goldstein was on his stomach with the bag of crack underneath him, suggesting he rolled on top of it before he died, a source said.

    [...]

Goldstein's death comes less than a year after he barely survived a plane crash with buddy and musical collaborator Travis Barker, the former drummer for Blink-182.

Four people were killed when the plane skidded off a South Carolina runway. Goldstein suffered severe burns.
"After the accident, he changed," said close pal and fellow deejay Scott Schroer, 36. "He was more humble. He cared more about people and life."

But the harrowing accident changed Goldstein in other ways, too, Schroer said.

"Prescription drugs? If you had been in a plane crash a year ago, I'm sure you'd have prescription drugs, too," he told a Daily News reporter.

    [...]

Born in Philadelphia, Goldstein battled addiction, obesity and depression as a teenager.

He landed in rehab at age 17 but returned to the California late-night rave scene and relapsed hard, doing drugs until 10 a.m. in his apartment.

"I would deejay until 2 a.m., go get drugs and stay up until 10 in the morning doing drugs in my apartment," Goldstein told People in 2005.

"Then I would wake up and eat like a beast. I was the only fat crackhead in L.A.," he told People in 2005.

Goldstein's weight ballooned above 300 pounds, and his cocaine use continued until one night in 1997 when he shoved a .22-caliber gun into his mouth.

"My whole life flashed in front of me, and I knew this was not my destiny," said Goldstein. "I started bawling my eyes out. I was like, 'God, please help me.' "

After getting sober, he got gastric bypass surgery in 2003. He lost 155 pounds, dropping from a high of 324.

This is too bad. DJ AM only gets 36 years while Ted Kennedy received 77.

It ain't fair.

Rest in Peace DJ.

Obama Wants To Rule The Internet

Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Obama, Junior wants to rule in the same manner as North Korea's Kimmy Jong Il. Obama wants to lord over internet access in the same manner as China.

Obama wants to rule the internet! CNet News:

Internet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed this spring when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.

They're not much happier about a revised version that aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat, have spent months drafting behind closed doors. CNET News has obtained a copy of the 55-page draft of S.773 (excerpt), which still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.

The new version would allow the president to "declare a cybersecurity emergency" relating to "non-governmental" computer networks and do what's necessary to respond to the threat. Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for "cybersecurity professionals," and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.

"I think the redraft, while improved, remains troubling due to its vagueness," said Larry Clinton, president of the Internet Security Alliance, which counts representatives of Verizon, Verisign, Nortel, and Carnegie Mellon University on its board. "It is unclear what authority Sen. Rockefeller thinks is necessary over the private sector. Unless this is clarified, we cannot properly analyze, let alone support the bill."

    [...]

The privacy implications of sweeping changes implemented before the legal review is finished worry Lee Tien, a senior staff attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation in San Francisco. "As soon as you're saying that the federal government is going to be exercising this kind of power over private networks, it's going to be a really big issue," he says.

Probably the most controversial language begins in Section 201, which permits the president to "direct the national response to the cyber threat" if necessary for "the national defense and security." The White House is supposed to engage in "periodic mapping" of private networks deemed to be critical, and those companies "shall share" requested information with the federal government. ("Cyber" is defined as anything having to do with the Internet, telecommunications, computers, or computer networks.)

"The language has changed but it doesn't contain any real additional limits," EFF's Tien says. "It simply switches the more direct and obvious language they had originally to the more ambiguous (version)...The designation of what is a critical infrastructure system or network as far as I can tell has no specific process. There's no provision for any administrative process or review. That's where the problems seem to start. And then you have the amorphous powers that go along with it."

Why would anyone trust the government? That's what The Left has been telling us for decades. Never trust the government.

Civil Liberties ? Why - - - what are those? I didn't think we had any left because The Left said Bush and Cheney took away all of our civil liberties.

Welcome to 1984.

Because Tragedy+Time=Comedy

Heard any Dead Ted Kennedy Jokes, yet?

Add 'em as a comment if you have.

Oh, and just a note, nothing - and I mean nothing - is off limits. Go for it.

Here are a few. Celebjihad:

    * Ted Kennedy has been sober for 12 hours now.

    * I wonder if Ted Kennedy’s funeral will be open bar?

    * How did people find out Ted was dead? He didn’t show up to the bar this morning.

    * Ted Kennedy never became president because unlike George Washington, he couldn’t cross a river.

And a few more Dead Fat Ted Tumor Head Kennedy jokes. Yankees Daily:

    * Ted Kennedy is a shovel ready project. (My favorite so far!)

    * If Ted Kennedy is to be buried in Martha’s Vineyard, the island will sink below sea level.

    * They have named a drink after Ted Kennedy. It’s called the Chappaquiddick. It’s made by mixing Gin and murky water.

It's all funny, because Tragedy Plus Time Equals Comedy!

Huckabee Says Under ObamaCare, Kennedy Told To Take Pills And Die

I have to hand it to former Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee for saying that under ObamaCare, Ted Kennedy would have been told to go home, take some pills and die. ABC Blog Georgianna Stephieanopoulos:

Mike Huckabee tossed a hand grenade into the debate over who's politicizing Ted Kennedy's death Thursday morning when he told his radio audience that under Obamacare, Kennedy would be told to "go home to take pain pills and die."

Which Democrat will toss it back first?

Will any Republicans jump on it by challenging Huckabee head-on?

Uh, yeah, Georgianna...The Left has never politicized the death of anyone, ever. Nope. It's not like The Left is politicizing the death of Fat Ted Tumor Head Kennedy for ObamaCare. Oh...wait...

"Will any Republican jump on it by challenging Huckabee head-on?" Gee, I don't know George, will you ever hold a Liberal as accountable and responsible as you do a Conservative?

Huckabee. A man you could not force or coerce me into voting for or supporting, but he said exactly the truth about ObamaCare: go home, take some pills, die.

Ted Kennedy probably would be alive today if he had sought superior medical treatment in Cuba. Nothing prevented him from leaving our crumbling and archaic system of healthcare and being treated in Cuba. I wonder why he didn't do this? It sure is a mystery.

The reason The Left and the Pbama Cultists feign such outrage over statements like those made by Huckabee is because these statements are true. And the Cultists cannot stand the truth. It's like sunlight to vampires.

Ted Kennedy Dead; Camelot Closed

"It's fun to speak ill of the dead."
- Liberal Radio Talker, Hatemonger, Smear Merchant Mike "The Rapidly Decaying Corpse" Malloy, The Mike Malloy Show, Air America - July 5, 2006

U.S. Senator, CommieCrat Fat Ted Tumor Head died Tuesday night from a brain tumor.

Tumor 1; Kennedy 0 .

The SF Gate writes Ted Kennedy was punished; leave him alone, and:

Kennedy made a mistake but made up for it

Accidents happen to everyone. It's sad to see people write about this who, if they were caught in the same circumstances don't know how they would have handled it, don't know what they would have done. If you're one of those people, the Internet trolls running around today, don't get upset if people treat you like you're treating Senator Kennedy after his death.

I for one, will not clap in glee at your tragedy.

Get this straight: Ted Kennedy had his day in court 40 years ago, was sentenced, and that was excused by the judge. You can't retry a case decades later and double jeopardy is a violation of Kennedy's constitutional rights.

Accidents can happen to everyone. However, Ted Kennedy left the scene of the crime, returned to his hotel room and went to sleep while Mary Jo Kopechne drown in, what experts say was a slow, four-hour horrific tortuous death as the car slowly filled with water. She ran out of air pockets. She died. Ted was in his hotel bed.

He didn't report anything to the police until the next morning after consulting with his advisers.

No, he did not pay price. He never paid a price:

Judge James A. Boyle presided at the inquest. Among Judge Boyle's conclusions were the following:

* "Kopechne and Kennedy did not intend to return to Edgartown" at the time they left the party.
* "Kennedy did not intend to drive to the ferry slip".
* "[Kennedy]'s turn onto Dike Road was intentional".

Judge Boyle also said that "negligent driving appears to have contributed to the death of Mary Jo Kopechne".

Under Massachusetts law Boyle could have ordered Kennedy's arrest, but he chose not to do so. District Attorney [Edmund] Dinis chose not to pursue Kennedy for manslaughter, despite Judge Boyle's conclusions.

Gee, you don't suppose that maybe, just maybe, Dinis was paid off by the uber-wealthy Kennedys, do you?

All the facts
are right at this post, footnoted and sources cited.

NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA,
HEY HEY, GOOD BYE!
NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA,
HEY HEY, GOOD BYE

i

I don't care that Ted Kennedy died. He was a spoiled little silver spoon rich boy. He was vile, evil, unindicted manslaughterer. An uncaring man who drove his first wife to alcoholism and caused nothing but pain and suffering for so very many people. This is the history of the Kennedy males, causing pain and suffering for all those with whom they come in contact.

GFR!

BIH!

August 25 should be declared a National Holiday. The Unindicted Manslaughterer died. He no longer can leave others to die.

Celebrate and be happy this piece of human filth is in Hell. That's what I'm doing!

Cheers!

Comments and Replies

I'll get to your comments and will reply in a couple of days. Time is limited for a few days. If I published them now, I'd have to write down which posts they are on and then that means I'll have to find the piece of paper I make the tickler list on on which posts to return to and reply. And I hate doing that.

So feel free to comment, they will be published and I, as I almost always do, want to respond to each of you.

Bernanke Receives Reprieve, Obama Shifts Focus off Afghanistan Deadliest Year

Ben is happy. He gets to keep his job!

Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Obama, Junior reappointed the abysmal
Ben "Print That Fiat Money!" Bernanke to another term as Fed Chairmain. WSJ:

When George W. Bush nominated Ben Bernanke to be Federal Reserve Chairman in late 2005, we wrote that there was "at least rough justice" in the fact that Mr. Bernanke would have to clean up a monetary bubble that he had helped to create. Alas, that was truer than even we feared, and yesterday President Obama rewarded Mr. Bernanke for his efforts by nominating him for a second four-year term.

    [...]

Mr. Bernanke does deserve credit for easing money when the panic became a stampede last autumn. With credit markets frozen and the economy shutting down, the Fed acted to offset a collapse in confidence and money velocity. Some of the Fed's creative liquidity measures also reduced fear and revived the market for the likes of commercial paper. These probably did help to prevent the panic from becoming a crash.

But none of this absolves the Fed from creating the mania that ultimately led to the panic. The first duty of any central banker is to protect the value of the currency, and the nearby chart tracks the value of the dollar against both oil and gold from Mr. Bernanke's appointment as a Fed Governor in late 2002. This is not a history of careful, stable monetary policy. The chart shows how the dollar plunged against commodity prices in the middle part of the decade, the first signal of the credit bubble that would spread to housing and across financial markets.

The second spike reveals how the dollar sank—and oil and gold soared—as Mr. Bernanke eased money abruptly in August 2007 when the credit mania first broke. This commodity spike weakened the economy further in 2008 and contributed to the failures that struck after Labor Day. As economists Anna Schwartz and John Taylor have noted, Mr. Bernanke misdiagnosed as a liquidity crisis what was principally a bank solvency problem. This is one reason his easing did little to stem the panic throughout 2007 and 2008. A steadier monetary hand might well have avoided the autumn panic. But the Bernanke Fed was taken as much by surprise as Lehman Brothers.

Well, only in Washington D.C. and Hollywood can you be praised and rewarded for failing.

The inmates of the Financial Asylum now have the keys to the printing presses. That instills confidence, doesn't it?

I'm on-the-record for not being enthusiastic at all when W. Bush appointed Bernanke, and I'm even less than thrilled with his performance this year. He did not, in my opinion, deserve to be re-appointed.

The other suspicious item is why Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Pbama, Junior picked today to make the announcement, considering Benny technically didn't have to re-appoint Benny Bernanke for a few more months.

Obama did this only to remove focus and attention from the fact that 2009 has become Afghanistan's DEADLIEST YEAR. Slate (hardly Right-of-Center):

The deaths of four American soldiers Tuesday in Southern Afghanistan bring the number of foreign troops who have died in Afghanistan to 295, making 2009 the deadliest year for these soldiers since the Taliban was overthrown in 2001. The bombings came on the same day that the government released a partial, inconclusive count of Afghanistan's presential vote. The soldiers were killed in a southern region of the country, where the Taliban is strongest, but the NATO statement announcing the deaths provided no additional details. The deadliest year before this year was 2008, when 294 Western troops were killed in the country. There are now more than 100,000 foreign troops in Afghanistan, including 63,000 from the U.S., after the Obama administration sent more than 30,000 additional troops this year.

Obama is clearly nation-building in Afghanistan. He's fomenting American Imperialism. Tsk-tsk. There was a time The Liberals said this was bad. It wasn't that long ago either.

But it's Obama's quagmire illegal occupation of Afghanistan, now. We don't hear much about the number of war dead these days from the Insane Liberal Clown Posse (ILCP) and the Pbama Cultists
about how their Dear Leader is illegally occupying Afghanistan and Iraq . I wonder why? Anyone have an answer? It's a puzzler all right.

Airline Passenger Bill of Rights

Okay my fellow Conservatives, real Republicans, Indies, Third Partiers and both small and big "L" Libertarians. What do you think of the Airline Passenger Bill of Rights? Minnesota Pubic Radio:

There's been grumbling for years that the government should limit how long passengers can be cooped up on a plane that's waiting to take off or after it's landed. Despite the grumbling, there's been no legislation. But incidents involving two recent notorious flights bound for Minnesota may change that.

From January to June this year, a little more than 600 flights out of over 3.2 million, about 0.019 percent, were stuck on runways for more than three hours.

None attracted as much attention as did a Continental Express flight diverted earlier this month to Rochester, Minnesota. Passengers sat 50 yards from the terminal for about six hours in a cramped plane with crying babies and a stinking toilet.

Federal officials blamed the situation on a bad call by an employee of Twin Cities-based Mesaba Airlines.

This past Monday, a Sun Country flight from New York City to Minneapolis-St. Paul waited nearly six hours on a runway before the flight was cleared to take off.

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar said those two ill-fated, Minnesota-bound flights are giving new impetus to legislation limiting how long passengers can be kept on a plane, while it's on the ground.

"It's just ridiculous," Klobuchar said. "These passengers are packed in like sardines, and they can't get out of the plane. It makes sense to no one."

What other ways can this situation be resolved? How can the Free Market fix this, and fix it effectively and efficiently, without Big Nanny Government entering the picture?

I've never been on a flight that experienced anything like the above delays. Thankfully!

How many hours do you think it's fair to sit on the plane on the tarmac with no idea of when your flight may depart, before you are permitted to exit the plane? Is four hours too long? Does two hours seem fair?

I tell 'ya, sitting on the tarmac for two hours without any word of any tentative departure time means that if I'm on that flight, the place where I'm seated, and for those around me, becomes the Smoking Section.

The worst that will happen to me is I get yanked of the flight, which is the intent, and I go along with my removal very peacefully and cooperating with them and I pay a fine. While the rest of the non-smoking sardines are still inhaling the same recycled air of overflowing toilets and the germs and bacteria and flatulence being exhaled and released by their fellow passengers. Mmmmmmmm1 Yummy! The recycled air has that...that...certain aromatic je ne sais quoi about it. Healthy too!

N.Y. Gov Patterson Says He's Disliked Because of His Skin Color

I wanted to very briefly mention this story.

The NY Daily News:

New York Governor David Paterson blamed a racist media Friday for trying to push him out of next year's election - launching into an angry rant that left even some black Democrats shaking their heads.

"The whole idea is to get me not to run in the primary," Paterson complained on a morning radio show hosted by Daily News columnist Errol Louis.

He suggested that Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, the country's only other African-American governor, also is under fire because of his race.

"We're not in the post-racial period," Paterson said.

"The reality is the next victim on the list - and you can see it coming - is President Barack Obama, who did nothing more than trying to reform a health care system."

Paterson said the campaign against him is being "orchestrated" by reporters who would rather make the news than report it.

But critics said the governor should blame his own blunders.

It's rare that I agree with the Media - the MSM - but NY Media, as far as I've observed it, treats all politicians equally. Especially at the state level.

I don't pay that close of attention to NY politics, but does anyone know if Patterson has ever played the "Blame The Previous Administration Card?" That would be the very pious, religious, law-toeing Eliot Spitzer who resigned in disgrace after the news broke that he'd been patronizing prostitutes for nearly a decade. Well...you know...Those Good Olde Fashioned Democrat Family Values!

If what Patterson says is true, and if Pbama Cultists say it's true - that their political opponents dislike Patterson and the Cult Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Obama, Junior , that it's because of their skin color - then it must also be true that The Left is racist for not liking Colin Powell (until he endorsed the Cult Leader), and Condoleezza Rice and Michael Steele, to name a few Black Conservatives, right? The Left also must be a collective bunch of racists because they don't like Black Conservatives. Or Black people who aren't Pbama Cultists.

What other explanation could there be?

Long-serving, re-elected multiple times, U.S. Senator Robert Byrd, a Liberal.

Racism and Hatred; Not Racism or Hatred

See the above image? It is disgusting. It is reprehensible. It is vile, I consider it inflammatory and a threat to Barack Hussein Obama, Junior. The person who created it should be investigated. Here is its genesis, the story from November 2008. Southern Poverty Law Center:

Neo-Nazi boss Bill White, long given to swaggering threats and proposals for violence, this week went even further than normal — announcing plans for a magazine cover headlined “Kill This NIGGER?” with a photo of Barack Obama and, two days later, publishing the home address of a juror who helped convict another neo-Nazi leader in a federal conspiracy case.

Yes. We have First Amendment Rights and Free Speech. And laws covering parody and satire and we have Fair Use Section 107 U.S. Copyright Code. And when private persons transition into public persona, they are open to being ridiculed and obnoxiously insulted, save for actual slander, libel and defamation. None of these things cover, not by any means, the top image.

Threatening the president of the United States and/or making terroristic threats against anyone, should be investigated and vetted and prosecuted if an actual threat is determined valid. There is no excuse for creating the top image. None.

The top image, as if I even have to say this, is the definition of Racism. It is abhorrent, rapacious, hostile and hateful. And, as if I should even have to say this, it is to be condemned, rejected, there is no place for it. It is revolting.

Bush-Hitler image credit Nova Lounge

I don't dislike Obama because of his skin color, I don't dislike him personally. I dislike his policies.

There is a difference of epic proportion between the image at the top of this post and anything I have ever PhotoShopped here on this blog. I have done nothing in PhotoShop or in a post that isn't something that The Left hasn't done with Republicans or Conservatives as their target. I'm just holding up a mirror to how the Insane Liberal Clown Posse operates and behaves.

There is a difference of epic proportion between the image and the top of his post and anything I've run across at TDN.

Bush-Hitler image credit Underground Action Alliance

Anyone who's read this blog for any length of time, agree with me or not, knows I do not add links to my blogroll without having spent some time read it. TDN is absolutely, absurdly over-the-top in many ways. If there is something I missed on reviewing TDN that seriously advocates physical violence or threats to Mr. Obama, or anyone else for that matter, or if you have found actual content that falls within the realm of what constitutes a true hate site, that is seriously objectionable in what is the true definition of Racism, I will yank the link to them in a New York second. In addition, I do not think
Texas Fred would be too happy being linked to from a true, actual hate site.

TDN is absolutely and outrageously over-the-top. It's supposed to be. TDN represents exactly what the First Amendment and Free Speech is all about, speech that some may consider offensive and objectionable, but is not threatening or true racism. I didn't find "hate" there. If you have, let me know.

Obama's Illegal Occupation of Afghanistan; Calling For More Troop Deployment

No benchmarks for Afghanistan? Check!

An ongoing illegal occupation of Afghanistan by Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Saddam Hussein Obama, Junior? Check!

Absolute, dutiful and total silence by the Pbama Cultists on Obama's continued illegal occupation of Afghanistan? Check!

Whoa...W. Bush never received the Coveted Free Pass like Pbama is, huh?

More U.S. Troops likely heading for Afghanistan and no clear strategy from Obama in Afghanistan. Washington Examiner:

With a growing-yet-ambiguous mission and no clear exit strategy, the war in Afghanistan is fast becoming a key political liability for President Barack Obama.

Last week, the White House gamely tried to characterize Thursday's Afghan elections as a milestone for democracy. But the administration's tepid relationship with presumptively re-elected President Hamid Karzai is one symptom of a larger struggle for Obama.

"Our goal is clear: To disrupt, dismantle and defeat al Qaeda and their extremist allies," Obama said of Afghanistan. "This is not a challenge that we asked for; it came to our shores when al Qaeda launched the 9/11 attacks from Afghanistan."

Obama has tried to bring stability to Afghanistan by sending more troops and shaking up the military command. He broadened the regional strategy to include Pakistan and rooting out terrorist safe havens.

But even so, a Washington Post/ABC News poll last week found 51 percent of Americans said the war in Afghanistan is not worth fighting. Among Democrats, 70 percent are against the war.

    [...]

"I think most Americans were on board with the limited objective of getting rid of al Qaeda and the Taliban after 9/11," said Malou Innocent, a Middle East expert at the Cato Institute. "Since that time, however, it's morphed into a more robust state-building effort that many Americans didn't sign up for."

The president and his family Sunday fly to Martha's Vineyard for a week of vacation. Also heading to the island resort is Cindy Sheehan, the durable anti-war protester who spend consecutive summers protesting near former President George W. Bush's Texas ranch.

"The only change I have seen in foreign policy is, unfortunately, things are getting worse in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan," Sheehan said Friday on MSNBC. "We need to revive our anti-war sentiment."

Sheehan's critique from the Left is problematic for Obama in part because it underscores a criticism from some Democrats that he is merely extending Bush war policies.

Some lawmakers have said they want the president to clearly explain why the United States is still in Afghanistan and what the end-game will be. For now, Obama describes the conflict as one that will go on.

"It's at great cost," Obama said in a radio interview last week. "I mean, you know, I have to sign letters to family members who have fallen, and a lot more are falling in Afghanistan than in Iraq. And as a consequence, we've got to make sure that we are really focused on finishing the job in Afghanistan. But it's going to take some time."

I like how Fascist Pbama said, "when al Qaeda launched the 9/11 attacks from Afghanistan." This must be news for his Cult Followers because they said 9/11 was orchestrated and executed by W. Bush and Cheney. Huh. Well, if Cult Leader Pbama says it was al Qaeda, it must be true. I'm sure the Cultists who've spent almost eight years saying and writing that 9/11 was executed by Bush and Cheney are busily correcting their blogs to reflect the truth they now know because their Cult Leader said so.

And Cult Leader Pbama says Afghanistan is, "going to take some time?" Huh...how 'bout that. Because "time" is something The Liberals were never willing to extend to W. Bush.

Remember "Bring The Troops Home Now!" Now is such a relative term for the Pbama Cultists.

It's never all that amazing how Liberals hold their own to completely different, far more lenient standards than they hold and apply to everyone else, isn't it?

Well...there it is, then.

What?...What's that I hear from the Pbama Cultist War is Always Wrong crowd? Why...I don't hear anything. They love them their Warmonger Pbama.

No plan, no strategy, no benchmarks, no endgame in sight, more U.S. Soldiers shipped into Afghanistan. Something tells me the Pbama Cultists weren't so lenient on this issue with W. Bush.

Oh well, Hypocrisy, Thy Name is Pillow-Biting, Kool-Aid injecting Pbama Cultists.

Obama and Gibbs Ridicule Bedwetters

The Pbama White House has clarified the
"Wee-Weed," up comments made by Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Saddam Hussein Obama, Junior.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Obama was referring to bedwetting. AFP:

US President Barack Obama was accusing Washington's chattering political class of getting bed-wettingly nervous when he said the capital gets "all wee-weed up," his spokesman said Friday.

    [...]

"There's something about August going into September where everybody in Washington gets all wee-weed up," the president said, adding: "I don't know what it is. But that's what happens."

Asked for a definition of the term, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs hesitated, but explained that "'wee-weed up' is when people just get all nervous for no particular reason.

"This is sort of an August pundit pattern between people getting overly nervous for something that still has a long way to go," he said.

"Bedwetting would be probably the more consumer-friendly term," he added.

Well, there you have it. The Kenyan and his staff find robust humor in ridiculing and insulting bedwetting.

Ask any parent who has a child who has had this problem and the psychological hell felt by the child, let alone the torment from other children if this information is disseminated.

Making fun of and insulting bedwetting shouldn't have surprised anyone, especially when you consider that Obama finds humor in insulting the Special Olympics.

This is why I refer to Obama as, among many names, Retard Barry.

I wonder what - if anything - the
incontinent Keith Olbermann thinks of his Cult Leader ridiculing him? You see, Olberwiener can't control his bladder or his excretory functions.

Olberwiener is a total, brainwashed, dyed-in-the-wool, Kool-Aid injecting Commie, so he - as do all Pbama Cultists - give their Führer Obama the Coveted Free Pass.

Welcome New Blog and Link

I want to apologize to my blogroll for not having done a "Blogworthy" post for so long. There are so many great things to read from the wonderful bloggers on my blogroll. I have things bookmarked and plant to get to them as soon as time permits.

In the meantime, I want to plug a blog I literally stumbled upon when searching for the speech given by Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Obama, Junior. My search words were for his "this was the moment" speech.

The blog I stumbled upon is The Daily Nigger or TDN. THAT is the name the blogger gave to his blog. Don't get upset or angry with me. I have never used the "N-word" unless it has been to actually quote another person who used it and I used it in its entirely and in its context when I quoted them. I believe this is the correct way to do this. I'm not going to sugarcoat the language when some Neanderthal troglodyte Liberal uses this most disgusting label. I'm not going to soften this offensive term by typing, "N-word," or "Ni**er," as others do - especially when IT IS THE LIBERALS WHO USE THIS WORD WITH ABANDON.

I would never use - and have never used - the N-word except in cases where I am directly quoting someone else, such as Hillary "MrsSatan" Clinton's profane rant and her use of the N-Word.

Or, when I've written about Democrats like Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson and Robert KKK Byrd, all who manage to receive a free pass from Liberals when they've used the word, "nigger
."

Or, to quash the false accusations from The Left that Obama was being called a "nigger
," which was an egregious lie. What was being shouted was "Redistributor," not "nigger." Of course, the Left and the Pbama Cultists tried to hype this story as being about intolerance and bigotry by lying about, and tyring to get others to believe, that what was being shouted was "nigger." Let me be clear; people were shouting "Redistributor," referring to Obama's plan to redistribute wealth.

As far as I can tell, the TDN's blog archive dates back to March 2007, which well precedes Obama becoming the CommieCrat Predinential Candidate which occurred in June, 2008, so I don't think the blog name The Daily Nigger is in reference to Obama.

So stop by TDN and visit. You will not be disappointed.

Rasmussen Poll Has Obama Receiving Only 29 Percent Strong Approval Rating

There were the days when The LiberFascists ridiculed W. Bush for having "only" 29 percent strong approval ratings.

Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Saddam Hussein Obama, Junior receives only 29 percent Strong Approval Rating. Rasmussen:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 29% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10 This is the first time since July 31 that the President’s Approval Index has fallen to negative double digits[.]

The Pbama Cultists are the new 29 percenters! Bwa ha ha ha!
