Rangel Wants To Bring Back The Draft

Oh...I'd imagine all the Little Liberal Bloggers are going batshit crazy over this story. You know, The "War is Always Wrong" Crowd - the same folks who call Republicans Warmongers.

DemocRAT Charlie Rangel wants to bring back the Military Draft. The Hill:

Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) likely will introduce his controversial legislation to reinstate the draft again this year, but he will wait until after the economic stimulus package is passed.

Asked if he plans to introduce the legislation again in 2009, Rangel last week said, “Probably … yes. I don’t want to do anything this early to distract from the issue of the economic stimulus.”

    [...]

Reintroducing the military draft bill, which would attract media attention, will be trickier for Rangel in 2009 than it was a couple years ago because the Ways and Means Committee chairman is now under investigation by the House ethics committee.

    [...]

...in 2004, Republicans scheduled a vote on the Rangel measure, which was defeated 402-2. Reps. John Murtha (D-Pa.) and Pete Stark (D-Calif.) supported it, while Rangel voted against his own bill, claiming the GOP was playing political games.

    [...]

With the Iraq war off the front page and the economic crisis taking center stage, nerves are not as raw on the topic of strain on the military as they were a few years ago, so Rangel’s legislation may not make as many waves this time around.

    [...]

Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y) was the only other co-sponsor during the 110th Congress. She could not be reached for comment for this article.

Huh, Fat Little Bastard CommiecRAT John Murtha and CommiecRAT Pete Stark voted FOR a return to the draft. Yvette Clarke - another CommiecRAT - co-sponsor of the bill "could not be reached for comment." My, how convenient. Why, those Warmongering, Bloodshed-loving Pinko Liberals...
that's how they get their kicks and jollies, sending our finest into battle.

See, it's The CommiecRATS who want to reinstate the Military Draft. It's The CommiecRATS who love sending our fine men and women off to war. The Republicans...The Republicans want to keep the Military all volunteer.

I can only imagine all my good Widdle Liberal War Is Always Wrong Bloggers are registering their outrage over Rangel's legislation. What - they're not? Good Little Eichmanns the Liberals are, yes? Obedient and dutiful, keeping their outrage buried within. Hypocrites!

It almost would be worth it to see the expressions of the moonbats as they're drafted into a war by the Messiah.

Especially the Lefties who say they won't allow their son/daughter to fight for Bush's illegal occupation of Iraq.

Well, now it's Pbama's illegal occupation of Iraq. Where is the outrage from the same LeftTards? They are biting their pillows 24/7/365.
