Obama Berlin Crowd 20,000 - Not 200,000;
Democrats Proclaim: Math Is Hard !

American MSM - and other MSM - peed their pants in orgiastic glee over Barack Hussein Obama, Junior's speech in Germany last week.

The public was told that the crowd that turned out to see him was 200,000!

Too bad that crowd estimate of 200,000 was more like 20,000.

World Politics Review reports that German public television, ZDF, reported the crowd number at 20,000:

This 200,000 figure has quickly become the standard estimate of the crowd for Obama's speech in both the American and the German media: so standard indeed that it is for the most part not even treated as an estimate.

The estimates given by German public television ZDF actually during the event, however, were as little as one-tenth of that number.

    [...]

Barely five minutes before the speech was supposed to start, ZDF Berlin studio chief Peter Frey added, "We do estimate that 20,000 [literally, "a couple of ten thousand"] people have turned out." Frey's tone, like that of Gelhard, reflected the gap between the relatively modest number cited and the lofty predictions that had preceded the event.

    [...]

...the original source for the rapidly growing estimates was in fact the rally organizers: i.e. the Obama team.

    [...]

As the Berlin-based writer Christian J. Heinrich notes: "During the big anti-Bush demonstration after the fall of Baghdad, there were 250,000 people. And it looked totally different from yesterday."

Read the whole story. The number of people that turned out to see Obama is being greatly exaggerated. It was exaggerated and inflated during the course of the speech by the Obama Campaign itself. What a bunch of phonies and liars!

20,000! Not 200,000!

Yeah Dems, math is hard, ain't it?

Obama...already a legend in his own mind and only in the mind of his Cult Followers. What a joke.

Whatever number that is, how come so many Germans have had nothing better to do that day than to go see a man's empty speech in an empty suit that is not even president but candidate to presidency of a country that is not even their own.

Wasn't there better things to do than go there waste their time. Did they really expected Obama to say something really deep, really intelligent, really meaningful, really revolutionising or where they there to see an aweful idiot telling them moronic platitude about how so-called wonderful european-american relations would be under an Obama regime?

An advice to German people, when the sun is there, is shining beautiful, try to do something meaningful out there, have some rest, take the kids out, have dinner at some place, go to the zoo, but please don't tell us you went out there to see Obama, haven't you got a life to live?

Stop falling for that mediatic crap that wants to tell us that Obama is a rock star and go get a life please.

"Obama Berlin Crowd 20,000 - Not 200,000;
Democrats Proclaim: Math Is Hard !"

On a lighter note, 20 000 VS 200 000 what's the difference for a man who visited 57 states during his run to become candidate for the democrats VS Hilary.

But still 20 000 is too many people who for the vast majority must have felt they litterally wasted their time to go to listen to a man who has nothing to tell us new.

I hate liars, hypocrites and thieves!

One of the reasons I was away from my "political" blog for a couple of months is due to the fact it makes me so angry... and I was trying not to care by ignoring it and hoping it would all just turn out okay.

I'm very angry at the bullshit that Obama is flinging across America... and now so flirtatiously across the world.

I began a post with the intention of it being maybe 3 paragraphs but my disappointment in how so many people want us to be a socialistic country is overwhelming.

We've heard people say "then just move to another country if you don't like it here". That always bothered me because if you truly want your country to change, even if you love it, you should work on changing it. But this is so different. Changing things for the best for our people is one thing... changing our entire way of life and our entire structure is retarded (and yes... I am using the racist word "retarded"... I'm sure it's been added to the list). We are the greatest country in the world and others have used us as a model… if we become socialist, what are the odds that others will do the same? It will be a domino effect that none of us can afford!!

Tym -

I agree with your comments, but no more so that get out and do something with the kids on a sunny day instead of listening to some politician. Any politician. Life is too short.

And LOL at the "57 states" remark! Absolutely. If McCain had made that blunder, The Left would have been all over it. Obama says it, well...then it must be true is how it is taken by his Cult Followers.

Good to hear from you. I am getting to your blog and taking post urls and then going to translation sites and reading in English what it is you have written. Sorry for not having commented lately, though, I apologize.

Bug,

As usual, The Lefties who want so much to be like Socialized Europe are behind the times. France, Italy, Germany and the UK have all moved from left-leaning heads of states to more conservative leaning heads of states and govt.

The Left, stuck in yesterday, stuck in the past while working to destroy the future. I understand why it gets frustrating fighting these a&&holes. But we must continue the fight.

Well thanks a lot for your readings David, I hope you still enjoy them and can find a little context in a lot of the Canadian stuff i write down (and more locally in Quebec).

I haven't written a lot in English in the past few weeks but I wish I could write a little more. I just have to find out the inspiration and certainly this campaign is one major inspiration but at the same time, it's summer time and it's less attractive I would say to write in the summer.

I certainly hope that things are going to heat up a little more in that campaign starting in September and I certainly wish that John McCain is preparing us a grand coup d'éclat in that campaign.

regards,

Tym Machine

I do enjoy your writing Tym. Time has been a bit of an issue lately in getting to my favorite blogs of which yours is one.

I agree, summer is a short season and it is not easy to be cooped up inside writing and blogging instead of playing outside!

Things will heat up in the election, I am sure. We shall see if there are any "October surprises" from either side!

Regards right back at 'ya.

Thanks for visiting and commenting. You too, Bug!
