Obama Campaign Credit Card Fraud
From My Fox News, Kansas City:
Steve and Rachel Larman say a strange credit card charge appeared on their statement this month -- a $2300 donation to Barack Obama's presidential campaign. The Larman's say they don't want this to be about their political affiliation, but they say they're not about to give the Obama campaign any help from their pocketbook.
They said they notified Chase, their credit card bank, to report the fraud.
"(They) said that they had seen-they were familiar with this," said Steve Larman. "It was fraud, they believe through telemarketing but they were going to be doing some more investigations."
The Larman's don't want their politics to enter into what is essentially just a fraudulent charge. But they say that the charge involves the Obama campaign adds insult to injury for the registered Republicans.
"They (Chase) kept on asking me 'are you sure you wouldn't have gone to a site in support of Obama'," said Rachel Larman. "And I repeatedly said 'Im [sic]voting for McCain - I would not be going to an Obama site'."
Chase dropped the charge from the Larman's card. The couple is thankful thay [sic] (I'm certain they meant "that" - Drake) they caught the charge on the card, but worried that others may not see that type of fraud on their own credit cards before it's too late.
"You always get emails saying be on the lookout," said Rachel. "So I just wanted to get the word out, that there's someone out there perpetrating this against people, and to pay attention."
The Obama campaign said they were aware of the Larman's story, but did not have any comment.
Steve and Rachal Larman aren't the only ones finding unauthorized credit card charges for donations made to Obama that they didn't initiate.
From Belleville News Democrat:
Sandy Pogones of Camdenton and Steve Larman of North Kansas City each found a $2,300 charge on their credit card bills recently for the Obama for America campaign. Their credit card companies removed the charges, but both say they are concerned about potential fraud.
"I am very interested in whether some organization is doing this to funnel money to Obama, or if it is somebody using Obama's name to steal from people," Larman said.
[...]
Pogones said she called a phone number next to the $2,300 on her bill and was connected to the Obama for America campaign.
"They asked me if I might have gone to an Obama Web site or something," she said. "I'm a Republican. There is no chance in the world that I or anybody else in my family would authorize this. I guarantee that."
The campaign asked her for her credit card number and information and said it would investigate, but Pogones declined to give that information. Instead, she called the Missouri attorney general's office and the FBI to report a fraud.
"It's hard for me to tell what's going on," Pogones said. "I do know that if I had just told (the Obama campaign) to credit it back, nobody would have been the wiser. So I chose to take it a step further."
The FBI and the Obama campaign in Chicago did not immediately return calls from The Associated Press.
Between all the ACORN Voter Registration Fraud and this credit card charge fraud, The Obama Cultists are sure going to great lengths in tyring to steal the election, an election they claim can be won honestly because they have such a great candidate. They sure don't have much confidence in their Affirmative Action Candidate, do they?
