Obama Says What Biden Said About Israel Defending Itself Against Iran Is Incorrect

On Sunday, Herr Biden said that Israel has the right to attack Iran and that the United States would not stand in the way of Israel defending itself.

On Tuesday, Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Obama, Junior was busy backtracking and trying to re-spin Biden's statement. CNN:

The United States is “absolutely not” giving Israel a green light to attack Iran, U.S. President Barack Obama told CNN Tuesday.

“We have said directly to the Israelis that it is important to try and resolve this in an international setting in a way that does not create major conflict in the Middle East,” Obama said, referring to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden appeared to leave the door open on Sunday for Israel to attack Iran if it saw fit.

“Israel can determine for itself — it’s a sovereign nation — what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else,” Biden said on ABC’s “This Week.”

Obama said Tuesday that Biden had simply been stating a fact, not sending a signal.

Well...you know how those WarMongering, War and Hitler-Lovin' Liberals behave. They love them their bloodshed, even though they claim to be the party of diplomacy, peace and tolerance. We don't see much diplomacy from Barry, do we? Only pacification and appeasement of terrorists and dictators.

Comments:
So Fraudy contradicts Joe and says no green light to Israel. Oh well, I guess Joe must have found Fraudy's stash again.

Flip. Flop. Spin. Re-Spin. Take Big Hit From Stash. Repeat.

That's the process of Fraudy, isn't it Molson?

What a bunch of idiots and morons running the country. Who in the hell could have imagined that the Carter Admin would look good in retrospect?

And completely taken out of context... what about the first half of Obama's quote?

“I think Vice President Biden stated a categorical fact, which is we can’t dictate to other countries what their security interests are,” Obama said. “What is also true is that it is the policy of the United States to try to resolve the issue of Iran’s nuclear capabilities in a peaceful way through diplomatic channels. That is our policy."

Biden says: Israel can do what it wants.
Obama says: That's true, but that doesn't mean we condone them attacking Iran.

I know Biden is pretty brainless, but please don't take stuff out of context. You are just putting yourself in the same boat as the stupid liberals who did the same with Bush.

Granted, you probably won't publish this comment since I've found zero comments on your blog that contradict what you posts.

These two are a circus gig, not a presidential team.

Israel, of course, has the international right to defend itself.

Imagine that Mexico had been speing hateful words against the SA, AND building its own nuclear arsenal. Who in his right mind would stay "neutral" on that?

Anony @ 6:29 AM, July 08, 2009,

I took nothing out of context.

Answer me: according to you, when can a country take military action to defend itself?

I know you will never reply.

Biden is brainless. Glad you said it.

Did you bow to the giant poster of your Cult Leader first thing when you woke up today?

Try to find your inner sense of humor.

Mats,

I don't know how Israel maintains itself from not obliterating Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist affiliated "suicide bombers", considering they are deluged daily with rockets and attacks.

What keeps them in check? "World opinion?"
