Pelosi Lying About Interrogation Briefings

Give it up, Madame Botox. You've been Pwned.

The briefings and documents prove Speakeress of The House Nanny Pelosi knew about enhanced interrogation techniques in September 2002.

And February, 2003.

Remember when The Left used to say that if you (you being a Conservative or a Republican) know about something and tacitly approve it, or say nothing to object to it, you're just as guilty as the person who formulated what Libs quickly and loosely rebrand as "torture?"

Pelosi is lying about not knowing and not being briefed about enhanced interrogation. FOX News:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she was never told during a congressional briefing in 2002 that waterboarding or other "enhanced" interrogation techniques were being used on terrorism suspects.

But in a story published in the Washington Post in December 2007, two officials were quoted saying that the California Democrat and three other lawmakers had received an hour-long secret briefing on the interrogation tactics, including waterboarding, and that they raised no objections at the time.

The clash of accounts has stirred Republican claims that Democrats have selective and politically motivated amnesia when it comes to who knew what, and when, about the Bush-era interrogation programs.

"I saw a partial list of the number of members of the House and Senate, Democrats and Republicans, who were briefed on these interrogation methods, and not a word was raised at the time, not one word," House Minority Leader John Boehner said Thursday.

    [...]

Pelosi indicated Thursday she's being hamstrung from fully addressing the briefing, and publicly questioning the tactics described in it, because it was secret.

"It's very interesting that people are talking so freely," Pelosi said.

"...people are talking so freely?" - Is she insane? She must be. Spilling secrets and releasing confidential information is the Speciality Du Jour in Liberal Land.

Why, Liberals and Liberal institutions chomped at the bit waiting for the days they could release classified information during the Bush Administration. Now...Liberals expect classified information to remain sacrosanct and sacred when it affects them? Liberal Hysteria and Full Circle Liberalism comes around. In other words, Liberals hate it when Karma happens to them. That's a shame, really...it's just s shame.

It's actually specialty du jour.

Like in the Dumb and Dumber movie where Lloyd (Jim Carrey, great canadian here) ask the waitress what is the "soupe du jour" and she answers "That's the soup of the day."

Tym, ARRRRGH! TYPOS!

Thank you for pointing out a typo. I do appreciate it. I have a degree in Journalism but I am my own worst proofreader. I can proofread what other's have written and be flawless in spotting their errors. But proofing my stuff? It just doesn't "happen."

Tym, just a quickie.

Via a google search, I found speciality spelled with the "ity" at the end as well as only "ty" and neither appeared to be deemed incorrect.

The De should definitely be "Du" though. No doubt about that.

"I am my own worst proofreader."

So am I.

As Jesus pointed out, you are good at seeing the dust in the eye of your enemy but at the same time, you cannot see the pilar in your own.

It's actually a bad translation but it means what it means.

As for the soup, I just wanted to be helpful as French is my first language and my dada as well.

Yes, it's that darn pillar in my eye that impedes my ability if proofreading my own stuff!

Remember Tym, you can't have dada without dadaism. ;-)
