Dem Congress Needs A Retreat
Paid For By The Taxpayers...Of Course!

Let's see now...three executives who run American auto companies take their private jets to Washington in order to testify in front of grandstanding, smug, hypocritical Democrats who think they know more about running a car company that do the executives.

A righteous bloodcurdling scream comes from The Left, because these three men flew in their jets. Three jets. Yet, over 600 private jets fly into DC in order to attend the Coronation of The Kenyan, and these 600 celebrities and Liberal sycophants remain unscathed and free from any criticism or scrutiny, the kind applied to the automaker CEOs.

The Kenyan - that would be Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Pbama, Junior - the biggest fundraising candidate ever then throws for himself the most expensive, lavish inaugural
in the history of our country which is in the midst of a deep recession.

Now we learn that Congress just can't do its work in DC, that they fly off to a deluxe resort retreat in order to get their work done. APee:

Members of Congress were quick to shame corporate executives for over-the-top extravagance during the economic crisis, flying private jets and taking luxury junkets. But some lawmakers are strolling fancy resorts spending tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars and mingling with lobbyists.

"We're very mindful" of perceptions, House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson told reporters Thursday camped outside of the sprawling Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, Va., where House Democrats spent about $100,000 on their three-day annual retreat. "It's serious and it's from morning till night. We've been dwelling, rightfully, on the economy," said Larson, D-Conn. [ Yeaaaah, uh-huh, it's serious from morning till night, you're working your asses off. We all believe you, Mr. Larson...we all believe you. - Drake ]

    [...]

"If it's a luxurious setting or if there's particularly high level entertainment, then they are running into the same problem," said Meredith McGehee of the Campaign Legal Center, a government ethics watchdog group. "They don't get that these are tough economic times, that Americans are struggling and they need to do their part."

    [...]

Democrats spend taxpayer money on their retreat but do not permit lobbyists to accompany them. The public pays for a charter train from Washington to Williamsburg for many of the 200 members who attend, as well as conference rooms, security and catering.

    [...]

Republicans spend no public money on their retreat, which occurred last month at the historic Homestead resort in Hot Springs, Va., spokesman Matt Lloyd said.

Adding insult to injury and pouring salt in a wound,
Pbama chose to take Air Force One and Marine One to attend the Williamsburg retreat. It's a 130-mile round trip, or something like that.

See, Pbama and the rest of the Liberals want to live life like the Elitists that they think they are. As for the rest of us, they want us to have "just a little bit leftover at the end of each month." Remember both Hillary and His Excellency saying that during the campaign..."just a little leftover at the end of the month." That's all they want us to have...just crumbs.

"Please, may we have some more porridge, Your Excellency?"

That sums it up correctly. Nothing further to add.

Thanks Molson. Their plans are so transparent. It's the only transparent thing about them.
