Tim Geithner Chief Of Staff Is Ex Lobbyist

I seem to recall The Affirmative Action Illegitimate Prednint-In-Training Barack Hussein Pbama, Junior, saying there is no role in his administration for lobbyists.

But there is room for a lobbyist as a Chief of Staff to Timmy Geithner, the crook who didn't pay his taxes - uh, unti he was caught - whom we all know is in charge of Treasury Secretary which runs the IRS of which Timmy defrauded for several years. He says...he just forgot about paying his taxes. For three...four...years, I dunno. Employed an illegal immigrant too.

Now, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner picked a former Goldman Sachs lobbyist as a top aide Tuesday, the same day he announced rules aimed at reducing the role of lobbyists in agency decisions. USAMacPaper:

Mark Patterson will serve as Geithner's chief of staff at Treasury, which oversees the government's $700 billion financial bailout program. Goldman Sachs received $10 billion of that money.

    [...]

Melanie Sloan, executive director of the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, said President Obama was retreating from his own ethics rules barring lobbyists from working on the issues they lobbied about during the previous two years. "It makes it appear that they are saying one thing and doing another," she said.

Yes, it does appear the Pbama Administration are often making it appear they are saying one thing while doing another. Thank you for taking notice of it. Spread the word.
