Riehl Word View reports that Obama's official site makes note of a picnic for Walsh...

    ...in rural parts of Ohio, volunteers will finish the painting of a barn this Thursday in Spencerville. The family who owns the barn will hold a picnic with longtime friend and colleague of Senator Obama’s, former chair of the Illinois Senate Agriculture Committee, Larry Walsh.

Well, we'll find out how long that post at Obama's site lasts until it is scrubbed. Obama's site scrubbed the "surge will fail" pages and he had his long association with a Commie friend scrubbed from his site. Obama scrubbing his site of even the slightest controversy and connection is a regular thing now.

    The FBI on Wednesday raided the county offices of a former Illinois state senator who is a poker-playing buddy of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama.

    According to Chicago authorities, the FBI visited the offices in Joliet, Ill., of Will County executive Larry Walsh, a longtime friend of Mr. Obama’s, and his chief of staff Matt Ryan.

    Mr. Walsh, who served in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2005, was endorsed by Mr. Obama in his county executive election bid. With the support of some of Mr. Obama’s U.S. Senate volunteers, he easily defeated incumbent Republican Joseph Mikan.

    Will County auditor Steve Weber confirmed that his office had been asked by the FBI to assist in an investigation, but he did not elaborate on the specifics.

From The Weekly Standard:

    Walsh is reportedly under investigation for his associations with the lobbying firm Smith Dawson and Andrews, which was hired by Will County to secure earmarks in Washington right after Walsh took office.

    According to Obama's website, the senator requested at least $6 million or so in earmarks for Will County in 2006-2007.

Huh. Walsh gets hired and immediately Will County gets earmarks and at least $6 million of it is requested by Obama. Amazing, what timing. Oh, it must be a coincidence, yes? Sounds like Obama was involved in paying back his poker buddy. Oh, yes!

Keep digging that hole of deep, unquestionable denial about your candidate, Obama Cultists. Dig, dig, dig , dig, dig!

It sure is funny how guilt-by-association always means something when Democrats allege it about Republicans (Jack Abramoff, or false attacks against John McCain for the Keating Five), but never when it comes to Obama.

It's only a matter of time until we hear from Obama, "that's not the Larry Walsh that I knew."

The only difference is that the DemocRATS are never held accountable. Never. I can't even begin to imagine the level of lying, cheating, and stealing that will occur after the RATS seize power. If Americans think the DemocRATic cash cows that are Fannie and Freddie are over the top, they haven't seen nothing yet. Not even Big Carbon Al's monstrous global carbon foot print will exceed the level of theft Fraudbama and his pals will unleash on an ignorant population. Hope and change after Fraudbama, will be hoping to be able to afford a clean pair of clothes to change into.
