KSTP News Crew Confronted At TIZA

Recap: Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy - or TIZA - is the Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota charter school that has been accused of indoctrinating school children in the Muslim religion in their taxpayer funded public school.

When a news crew from St. Paul television station KSTP attempted to take video footage of TIZA from a public street, they were attacked by the school's director Asad Zaman, and others. KSTP:

In an attempt to report about the new findings from the Department of Education Monday, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS went to Tarik ibn Zayad Academy in Inver Grove Heights.

While on school grounds, our crew was confronted by school officials. Our photographer was injured while wrestling with the two men over the camera.

Our photographer was examined by paramedics and suffered minor shoulder and back injuries.

The state education department on Monday directed the charter school to "correct" two areas related to religion at the school on Monday.

Tarik ibn Zayad Academy, which focuses on Middle Eastern culture and shares a mosque with the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, came under fire after a teacher alleged that the school was offering religious instruction in Islam to its students.

The above link to KSTP also has the video footage of the camera man being attacked confronted.

KARE-News 11 has video footage of the KSTP crew being attacked confronted. Zaman is the one with glasses, a goatee and wearing a tan suit.

Islam...such a sweet, non-violent religion, yes?

Well I guess the KSTP news crew can thank their lucky stars they were only wrestling with some Islamists over possession of a camera instead of the control yoke of a 767.

Heh. You know, if any public school even thought about a Christian or Judaism ideal inside a public school the ACLU would go whacked off crazy. But Islam...they bend over and take it up the butt, making nothing but excuses for it. Fucking hypocrites!
