Speakeress of the House Nanny Pelosi said in 2006 that she had a secret plan (just like John Kerry in 2004 and all of his secret plans? - Drake) to reduce the price of gasoline. Go ahead, click on the hypertext, it's still up on her Congressional web site:

    Monday, April 24, 2006

    [...]

Washington, D.C. – House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on President Bush’s, Speaker Hastert’s, and the Republican Congress’ empty rhetoric on gas prices. Key facts on the Majority's failure to address gas prices follows Pelosi’s statement.

    [...]

“Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies, and increasing production of alternative fuels.”

Why hasn't Peloshit implemented this great secret plan to lower the price of gasoline? Maybe she misplaced her secret plan? Maybe she lost her secret plan among her many bottles of botox and wrinkle remover? Maybe she forgot she had a secret plan? Or maybe, just maybe, she never had a secret plan to lower the price of a gallon of gasoline. Nanny wouldn't lie or say something untrue strictly for partisan politics, would she?

Does anyone remember how Nanny wanted a super-duper jumbo jet at her personal disposal to fly her and her entourage non-stop from D.C. to California? Gee, it sure is funny how the Dems have forgotten all about this. All Talk, No Walk - well, that's Nanny and the Dems!

So who exactly is to blame for mucking up all the above?
