Starting tomorrow, Air Idiot's "flagship" is gonna fall right off the Arbitron listings for NYC. They had lame numbers to begin with, and now they will move to a shittier signal, and have fired one of the few hosts they employed that actually had a hardcore following. Since the announcement yesterday I've dipped into the fever swamps--I noticed they positively love you over at The Brad Blog--and it seems a lot of the nutroots are livid about Malloy getting his no-talent ass canned.

The way things are going, I have a feeling by the end of the year I'm just gonna retire the Air Idiot category over at my joint. It'll feel like beating up on brain damaged midgets; sure, there's some fun involved in contemplating it, but it's something your Momma would kick the crap outta you for if you actually go through with it.

If I had to bet, I'd wager when they couldn't come to terms to keep their signal on WLIB, a lot of their daddies turned tail and zipped up the pocketbooks until the morons acting as Air Idiot's management prove they can run a professional operation (in other words: make money).

If you look at it all in a purely business sense, the idea that people kept funneling money into such a two dime startup kinda works as a blueprint of how damn dumb that side of the aisle is when it comes to letting them handling government: the biggest biz.
