MN State Senator Dean Johnson: LIAR!

Minnesota State Senator, and the Majority (Liberal) Leader, Dean Johnson is a LIAR! Like most democrats, he lies like a golf ball in the rough after a bad drive from the tee. But now he's been caught telling a big, fat, pus-filled lie.

Sen. Johnson told a meeting of pastors in January of this year, that the MN Supreme Court Justices told him they would uphold and support the legal definition of marriage in Minnesota as between a man and a woman.

The only thing that's not right about the above sentence is that the Supreme Court Justices never, ever said that to Sen. Johnson. In fact, they Justices never said that at all, to anyone, at any time! You see, someone tape recorded the words of Senator Johnson in that January meeting. So there isn't any doubt whatsoever about what he said. He got caught and his lie is substantiated by his own recorded words.

"Pastor"/ State Senator/Chaplain Dean Johnson - Commiecrat / Liar

Have I mentioned yet, that Sen. Johnson, is also an ordained Pastor in the Lutheran Church. Yeah, he is. Oh, and he's also a Chaplain in the MN National Guard. Nice, truthful and honest-as-the-day-is-long this fellow, Pastor Johnson is, yes?

So, Pastor Johnson manufactures full fabricated fiction by attributing words to the members of Minnesota's highest court of which they never said.

Of course you're thinking, Pastor Johnson was Johnny-On-The-Spot, immediately issuing an apology, and, in Jimmy Swaggert-like language asking for forgiveness, from telling lies, right?

Well, nope, not really. It took him a over two days to say "I woke up this morning [Friday, 3-17-06] and I said, 'I need to apologize'". Well, Pastor, what took so long?

I guess there must've been a whole lot of things-nuances-to deliberate and reflect over for a few days. Things like, should he apologize for making something up that never happened and telling others that it had? Wow, by any stretch of the imagination that's quite the quandary, isn't it? Hard to tell what the right thing to do is in that circumstance, especially after you're caught red-handed, isn't it? Lots of fuzzy grey area to analyze and contemplate over for a few days, yes?

So, Pastor Johnson admitted his lying and fabrication, right?

Well, nope, not really. His "apology" was: "I didn't lie. What I did do, was embellish. To lie requires the 'intent to deceive', while embellishing is sanding off the truth."

Huh? You didn't intend to deceive by telling a group of pastors that MN Supreme Court Justices said something they never said? How do you sand the truth off of something that never was said, never spoken and didn't happen? There's nothing to sand! Such Clinton-esque splitting of hairs this Pastor practices, yes?

Sorry, Pastor, but embellishment is telling your fishing buddies the fish you caught was twenty-five inches long when it actually measured eight. Lying is when you tell your fishing buddies you came home having caught the full legal limit when you actually caught none. And Pastor, your stringer is empty!

Plain and simple, no debate about it, you're a LIAR! And, a Pastor! And, a Chaplain. TSK-TSK-TSK! For Shame, for Shame!

How do we know he lied? Both Supreme Court Chief Justice Russell Anderson and Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Kathleen Blatz, who Pastor Johnson specifically named in the tape recorded statement, say they never said what the Pastor claims they told him! Further, that the MN Supreme Court would never tell him, or anyone else for that matter, how they would vote on the marriage bill, should it ever reach their bench. Duu-uh!

So, you would imagine that the Pastor's democratic colleagues would be working on some type of censure reprimand, much like little Russy Feingold is doing with his censure grandstanding on the national level?

Well, nope, not really. Pastor Johnson's fellow Commiecrats are standing by their man, just like the lyrics from the Tammy Wynette song. Oh those liberals, Lord knows how liars like them all stick together.

You're thinking, Pastor Johnson took steps to atone and explain his absurd statement of lying and manufacturing a statement that was never uttered, right?

Well, nope, not really. He dug himself a new lie, on Thursday, telling MN Public Radio that he had a very brief conversation with one of the justices at the state Capitol but didn't receive any feedback on the 1997 marriage definition law other than the justice telling him that the MN Supreme Court wouldn't overturn it. (Umm, let me guess, that conversation took place late at night, after dark, in the Capitol parking ramp, and the person you spoke with wore a trench coat?)

But THAT exchange didn't happen either! What he told Public Radio is yet another lie passing through the Pastor's mouth.

I wonder...and I know you astute readers can fill in the rest of this sentence...how great thy outcry from the Left would be if the above lies had been told by one of Minnesota's Republican representatives? I think we all know the answer to that. That Republican, within a week (if that long), would be booted from their office, their hand forced to resign. The Commiecrats would pounce on the fact that this person cannot be trusted to hold elected office and that the taxpayers and citizens of Minnesota deserve better, expecting and demanding high ethical standards from their public officials.

But we don't hear any of that from the Pastor's fellow Socialists. No, they're busy circling the wagons around their Politburo Komrade, protecting their little power base in order to perpetuate their reign of a political majority.

Here we have a MN State Senator, the Majority Leader, who is also a Pastor and Chaplain, who blatantly lied about something to a group of fellow Pastors. He then lied again in trying to explain the lie. Now, if he's lying about this matter, what other lies has he told to the people of Minnesota? What other lies have passed your lips, Pastor Johnson, that have not yet been discovered?

Senate Republicans have yet to write up formal charges or ethics violations against Pastor Johnson, but they should! They need to! Otherwise, Pastor Johnson will, for all intense purposes, continue his pattern of lies, dishonesty, and deceit. After all, democrats are always telling us, on a day to day basis, that we must not allow politicians caught lying to remain in office.

So tell us, Pastor Johnson, tell us again...just how big was that fish you caught...the one you claim got away? Tell us how you struggled reeling in that big fish while on your boat...all alone. We'll all believe you.

Sen. Johnson has done alot for Minnesota to make it a great state and a great place to live. Shame on you for picking on him in his moment of weakness.

Gene...I bet you're a hardcore, "Mom and Pa voted democrat all their lives and so do I", kind-of-guy. That's too bad.
