Minneapolis Star Tribune: "Verify? What Verify!"
It's not even surprising really, that the Minneapolis Star Tribune would run a story without bothering at all, to check, verify, confirm, and authenticate that the story is accurate, factual, and true. Good for City Pages for bringing this story to light.
Scott Gillespie, the Strib's managing editor, says it's unusual for the paper to run stories, even if they appear as "fact" on another news site, that haven't been verified. But somehow this one managed to escape the obligatory fact-checking system unscathed.
