CBS Eye to Be at "Half Lid" in honor of Dan Rather
The CBS Eye
At midnight on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, the well known logo of CBS - the eye - will go to "Half Lid" in honor and respect for that great and grand, objective, fair, journalist Dan Rather, and his final delivery of their network news. The Eye shall remain at "Half Lid" until midnight Friday, March 11, 2005, at which time it will reopen to a fully awakened state. The CBS Network is asking all its affiliates to do likewise.
