ObamaCare by Pelosi: 2,000 Pages of Crap Most of Which is being Written in Secret
If you thought the Federal Government's entire and complete plan in their switchover from analog to digital television was flawless, well-thought out and executed with aplomb, and you think that the Department of Motor Vehicles is run efficiently, staffed well and is not a bureaucratic nightmare, well hell, you are likely to love the 2,000 pages of the ObamaCare bill written by Speakeress of the House Nazi Pelosi. The Chattanoogan, by Senator Lamar Alexander:
The era of the 1,000-page bill is over: We now have a 2,000-page bill from the House of Representatives.
Almost no one has seen the Senate Democrats' health bill. It's being written behind closed doors. This was supposed to be the era of great transparency. President Obama, to his great credit, said we'd all be able to watch this on C-SPAN, so Americans will know if the drug companies or if the insurance companies or lobbyists are in there writing the bill. But what do we have? We have the Majority Leader and some people from the White House writing the health care bill.
[...]
...what we have [is] a 2,000-page congressional Democratic health care bill that a Wall Street Journal editorial said yesterday when fully implemented would cost $2 trillion over a 10-year period of time.
The Cultists and the ILCP don't want to admit that other options, far less intrusive options, can work. It's THEIR PLAN or nothing, is the attitude of The Left. Frankly, I'll opt for nothing, then. I'll opt for the current status quo of our health and medical system.
What Pelosi and her fellow Fascists have written is an absurd tome, rife with over-regulation and penalties for those who can least afford it. Politico:
It runs more pages than War and Peace, has nearly five times as many words as the Torah, and its tables of contents alone run far longer than this story.
The House health care bill unveiled Thursday clocks in at 1,990 pages and about 400,000 words. With an estimated 10-year cost of $894 billion, that comes out to about $2.24 million per word.

Optimistic lawmakers say it could take a week just to get through the bill’s text.
“I’ll have to call an emergency meeting of my staff and drop the customary procedure of me reading and my staff not reading,” joked House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.), who famously told filmmaker Michael Moore that lawmakers “don’t read most of the bills.”
“It’s one thing to read it,” said Rep. Lee Terry (R-Neb.), a lawyer who voted against the first version of the bill on its way through the Energy and Commerce Committee. “It’s another thing to understand it when it’s written in legalese.”
[...]
North Carolina Republican Rep. Patrick McHenry, 34 years old and a few inches taller than 5 feet, said the bill could act as a ”booster seat.”
[...]
McHenry took issue with the notion that the 2,000-page bill hasn’t changed much from the earlier, 1,000-page versions. To prove the point, he pulled out a Democratic-written summary of the changes.
All eight pages of them.
Asked why the House will vote on the roughly 400,000-word bill in a week when it takes a congregation a year to read the 80,000-word Torah at a synagogue, Rothman, who is Jewish, exhibited the wisdom of a Talmudic scholar.
“It only takes a year because you read one section a week,” he said.
But Republican Rep. Joe Barton, who is Texan, said the bill is “about four reams of paper” that add up to the American public “getting reamed.”
Lube up, everybody. Barack Hussein Obama, Junior and His Fascist Criminal Marxist Crime Family are getting ready to fcuk Americans up the arse. And this is just the beginning of their forced sodomizing of America.

Health care doesn't seem to destroy most of the western world when a public arm is in place. You would like us to do nothing because "it ain't broke". Well even the Wall Street journal admits we need a fix. The VA sucks unless you a vet in need, then it is a life saver nearly all the time..Certainly more often then AIG. So if you really have that much hate I might recommend leaving for...uh well sorry nearly everywhere I though of has National health..
Really? All it takes for Tea Bag street cred is images of Vaseline and Swastikas? Geez, can a weekly night time one-hour political program on FOX News with me as the host be far behind?!?!?
I'm being Patriotic by criticizing the government, Richard. You remember all about criticizing the government is the highest form of Patriotism, don't you?
@ Richard, you need to increase or decrease your meds, don't you buddy?
A fellow admirer of the Talking Heads. Never knew that about you. The Heads are fantastic. They were so far ahead of their time musically.
Eh...as for dumbnutts, I mean Richard The Coward-Hearted, we have to overlook the idiocy from the LefTards. They can't help it if they're born with a tail, dragging their knuckles on the ground, drooling and grunting and consuming their poo. It's all they know. Hey, I bet I just described Richard to a "T!"
