Obama Plays Basketball Sans USMC T-Shirt

Unlike his basketball game in Indiana (where he made sure to be photographed wearing a USMC T-shirt), Osama Hussein Obama The Obamalith played some hoops with the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Only this time The Obamalith WAS NOT WEARING a USMC T-Shirt.

And he wasn't even wearing a U.S. Flag lapel pin.

He did, however wear the usual turban and Muslim garb permitted under Islamic law.

Norman Goldman Says No Voter Fraud

The Left is apoplectic over the Supreme Court ruling that upheld an Indiana state law requiring people to show photo identification before voting, to guard against fraud. The Court made the right decision of course.

What is interesting is that the Left - once again wanting to have their cake and eat it - now claims that voter fraud should be proven before requiring voters to produce identification. This mindset was amplified by Moon Pie Faced Norman Goldslob... Goldstein... Goldfarb...Goldfinger...Goldman at approximately 39 minutes into the second hour of Liberal Radio Talker Big Fat Dumb Ed Schultz's program on Tuesday.

This is solid, unadulterated hilarity! The Left has cried voter fraud for at least the past seven-plus years. So the Supreme Court takes a valid step deciding that voters need to produce an ID. How does the Left respond to this? By saying that voter fraud needs to be proven before instituting such a disenfranchising ruling!

Norman Goldslob...a man with a law degree from a box of Cracker Jack?

Well, everyone is still waiting for the Left to actually prove any type of voter fraud. And...we still wait.

Oh, this one is rich! Sweet, deliciously chocolaty, nougaty, creamy, caramel rich!

Global Warming Caused Virginia Tornadoes?

The Lefty side of the blogosphere is full of "evidence" that the tornadoes in Virginia were caused by global warming.

The appropriately titled The Daily Green (isn't that an off-colored bowel movement?) says, "Some scientists have warned that global warming will create conditions that will make tornado outbreaks more frequent and violent."

So, as is my job to debunk what Lefty sites and blogs "feel" rather than siding with facts, I spent a few minutes researching the worst tornadoes experienced in the United States.

The following information on the five worst tornadoes in the U.S. is from Suite 101 and they list their references and sources for what they published from data obtained by the National Weather Service, Live Science, Epic Disasters, Wikipedia and the Tornado Project:

Number One: The Tri-State Tornado on March 18, 1925:
Missouri, Illinois and Indiana were all affected by the Tri-State tornado.
    Death toll: 695
    Injuries: 2027

Number Two: The Natchez Tornado on May 7, 1840:
The Natchez Tornado first touched down in Concordia Parish, Louisiana then followed the Mississippi River for 7 miles before hitting Natchez Mississippi.
    Death toll: 317
    Injuries: 109

Number Three: The St. Louis/East St. Louis Tornado on May 27, 1896:
The St Louis tornado struck the southwest end of the city of St Louis Missouri creating a path of destruction through the urban area.
    Death Toll: 255
    Injuries: 1000

Number Four: The Tupelo Tornado on April 5, 1936:
The Tupelo tornado first touched down near Coffeeville and skirted the center of Tupelo but destroyed residential sections of the city.
    Death Toll: 233
    Injuries: 700

Number Five: The Gainesville Tornado on April 6, 1936:
The Gainesville tornado was actually a pair of funnels with the smaller one hitting north of the city and the larger one heading for downtown
    Death Toll: 203
    Injuries: 1600

Gee, it sure is funny that all the above tornadoes pre-date Albert Gore, Junior's faux crisis of global warming. But hey... Liberals and Eco-Tards never allow facts to get in the way of what they believe.

DNC Will Air False McCain Campaign Ad

Here we go...this is what you get, Senator McCain, when you pander to the Left thinking they are your friends or that they will play fair.

The Republican National Committee said Monday it is asking cable networks not to air what they described as a “maliciously false” ad about John McCain from the Democratic National Committee. CNN:

The RNC said the ad was in legal violation because its content was misleading. Asked about the prospect of legal action from Republicans in a conference call late Monday afternoon, DNC Chairman Howard Dean responded: “Let them do it.”

The 30-second spot, slated to run on CNN and on MSNBC, highlights McCain’s comment that it would be acceptable if U.S. troops remained in Iraq for 100 years. McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, was talking about a peace-keeping mission, not active conflict.

Playing nice with your political enemies isn't going to get you anywhere, Senator McCain. But pay no attention to talk like that. Keep alienating your base and reaching out to those who have opposing political ideology than you.

Don't expect Hillary or Barry to come to your defense or that they will "disavow" the ad, Senator McCain. Unlike you, Hillary and Barry actually treat their base with a degree of respect because they realize that they NEED THEIR BASE TO WIN, which is something that you just don't "get".

Hillary is already saying that McCain hasn't done enough to stop the Obama/Wright ads.

I can't wait to see how McCain urinates all over his base on this one.

Howard Dean Wants A Candidate

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! My meds just kicked in!"

DNC Chairman Mao Howard Dean wants a
solid Democrat candidate by June. Most of us already know that Mao Dean is out of his mind, but he's really stretching the limits thinking Hillary Clinton is going to cede the candidacy to The Obamalith or that Ted Kennedy's Poodle is going to cede to Hillary.

AP (from the above hypertext):

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Monday that either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama will know when it's time to drop out of the nomination race after the end of the primaries in early June.

"We want the voters to have their say. That's over on June 3," he said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Dean, saying he was speaking from experience as a candidate for president in 2004, said he won't have to force anyone from the race.

"Either of these candidates, if it's time for them to go, they'll know it and they will go," he said. "They don't need any pushing from me. You know when to get in and you know when to get out. That's just part of the deal."

Yeah, as if Dean has any say in the matter. Howard, are you smokin' The Chronic or are you hallucinating from the Tom Cruise Purple?

You just keep on thinking that Hillary will bow out gracefully Howard, you just keep right on thinking that as you mix yourself up a brand new strong batch of Kool Aid and repack the bowl on the hookah pipe.

Clinton - Obama: Indiana Dead Heat

Hillary Clinton MrsSatan and Barack Osama Hussein bin Laden al-Obama
The Obamalith are tied in Indiana. Forbes Trailwatch:

The most recent poll averages from Real Clear Politics show Indiana is a dead heat, with both candidates receiving support from 45.5% of likely voters.

    [...]

Manufacturing will be a key to a Clinton victory in the Indiana primary, as 20% of all those employed statewide work in manufacturing jobs. To win the state, Barack Obama needs to capture the student vote and urban voters, [He won't be able to do this. - Drake] specifically those in Indianapolis, where 25% of all votes statewide will be cast.

    [...]

Students and African American voters, however, can only take Obama so far in Indiana, a state where 86% of the electorate is white. He must also reach blue-collar workers, who account for 31% of the state’s 6.3 million residents and have recently supported Clinton.

Why...what's happening to the campaign of Ted Kennedy's Poodle?

Bele Obama: He's Black and White - or is that White and Black - just like Michael Jackson.

Is this the beginning of the end of The Obamalith's campaign? You bet it is and The Magic Bele is bitter about it. Very, very bitter.

Obama resorts to aggressive campaign tactics. The Telegraph:

Barack Obama has taken off the gloves in his battle to win the American presidency - and in so doing has left critics wondering whether he is not just another conventional politician grubbing for votes. [Why, yes he is, thanks for noticing! - Drake]

    [...]

...it is Mr Obama who has not "got it done". He is convincingly, perhaps insurmountably, ahead in the number of states won, his share of the popular votes cast, and his tally of elected delegates. But he has yet to win over enough party grandees, the "super-delegates", to be sure of securing the nomination.

If he fails to wrest Indiana from Mrs Clinton, who is slightly ahead in the polls, his campaign fears that the remaining uncommitted super-delegates will lose faith in his ability to win and back his rival instead.

    [...]

Mr Obama now exhibits irritation at his need to keep explaining himself to those voters - including the white working class, older, women and Catholics - who remain stubbornly resistant to his charms. [It's not that they are stubborn, they just recognize a huckster when they see one. - Drake]

    [...]

The conservative columnist David Brooks, once an admirer, complained that he has morphed into "a more conventional politician", guilty of "the sorts of fibs, evasions and hypocrisies that are the stuff of conventional politics". The liberal commentator Paul Krugman condemned Mr Obama's reliance on the message that Mrs Clinton is unlikely to overcome his lead among pledged delegates.

Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch! Is that SUPER DUPER UBER LIBERAL Paul Krugman dissin on Obama? Who knew Krugman contained a quark of objectivity. He must have put away his Brownshirt for the moment.

The popular vote - of which Hillary claims she is now ahead in - between MrsSatan and The Obamalith is so much closer than the popular vote difference between George W. Bush and Albert Gore, Junior in 2000 - yet the Obamaniacs still scream, yell, kick their feet and have hissy fits whining that Hillary should quit the race. If Obama was trailing by the few points and votes as is Hillary, would the Obamaniacs be thinking he should quit the race? Hardly. But never underestimate the ability of the Insane Liberal Clown Posse and Obama Cultists in their unified hatred of all things not Marxist.

Obama Wears USMC T-Shirt

Huh...Obama Hussein Bin Laden Obama The Obamalith...formerly known as Ted Kennedy's Poodle won't wear a U.S. Flag lapel pin, but he will wear a USMC T-shirt while playing basketball.

Wow, a what proud supporter he is of his country, huh? Why, he wrapped himself up in a USMC T-shirt faster than anyone in the
Insane Liberal Clown Posse could falsely accuse any Republican of wrapping themselves up in the American flag. Oh you Libs, you're so unprepared for events like when the USMC T-shirt issue comes right back slapping you like the bitches you is.

Obama managed a thoroughly staged photo-op in portraying the image that he is pro-America by playing basketball while wearing a USMC T-shirt. Yeah, the guy who won't wear a flag pin made sure he was photographed wearing a USMC shirt. See doubters, he's patriotic! He's wearing a USMC shirt! But for Obama those letters probably stand for United States of Muslim Communities.

The last time we saw a political event this staged and contrived unstaged and impromptu was when Bubba and Hillary were in their swimsuits dancing on some beach pretending to be unaware their photo was being taken.

The story mentions he played b-ball while "wearing a tucked in USMC jersey." Who plays any sport with their T-shirt tucked in? What kind of arugula and goat-cheese eating elitist freak is he?

Obama's faux patriotism in a USMC T-shirt, on full display for all photographers and reporters.
See, he's patriotic!
Nope, nothing staged about this...nothing at all.

Did you see The Poodle being interviewed by Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday? Why, it looks like Obama got himself a case of Donald Rumsfelditis.

He's now asking himself questions aloud and then responds aloud with an answer. The Left had a field day making fun of Rumsfeld for doing this. Somehow, I don't think the Left will apply the same standard to Obama. The Left is really good at embracing their obvious double-standards.

Obamaniacs seem to like Ted Kennedy's Poodle or The Obamalith, as I like to call him. I suspect his cult followers adore and worship him for two primary reasons; he's not a Clinton and he's not a Republican.

If Obama were a Republican, I'd have the same opinion of his politics as I do now. There's nothing there. He doesn't stand for anything. Even his hardcore political supporters and cronies cannot articulate any of his accomplishments.

John McCain Won't Get My Vote

Perhaps someone needs to be preparing a comfy chair for Republican presidential candidate, Arizona's United States Senator John McCain, at the politician's retirement home of My Campaign Took The High Road. He can sit with both former Senator and 1996 Republican Presidential candidate Bob Dole and former Republican President George H.W. Bush. Both Dole and Bush took the high road in their campaigns against Democrat candidate Bill Clinton. Dole lost and Bush watched his re-election go down the drain.

If McCain thinks he can take the high road in campaigning against Osama Hussein Obama The Obamalith, and especially if he ends up running against Hillary Clinton MrsSatan...then he's out of his mind.

I have to hand it to McCain, though. He just keeps right on going, handing me reason after reason not to support or vote for him. I've been trying to work my brain into a mode where I would support and vote for him. Well, no more.

McCain proved twice again to be the Antagonist of his own party when he announced late last week that he condemned a political advertisement being run by the North Carolina Republican State Party.

The best PR response for McCain should have been, "while I may personally disagree with the ad and wouldn't use it in my campaign, it's an issue for the North Carolina state Republican party to deal with." But no...Mister Maverick eagerly took the bait from the MSM and displayed for his critics the disdain he has for his own party.

Then, speaking in New Orleans, McCain took the opportunity to slam the Bush Administration's response to hurricane Katrina. We can rehash Katrina until the day humans become extinct, but there are two important facts that are almost always - I believe intentionally - overlooked in discussing Katrina, and McCain failed to note them. One; no one accurately predicted the severity of the hurricane. Two; state and local officials - whose past Democrat-weighted governing of hurricane stricken areas - are equally responsible for sharing the blame of not acting soon enough before the hurricane hit and responding slowly in its aftermath.

Of course, in order to pander to the Independents and Centrist Democrats of whom McCain thinks will vote for him - they won't - he has to bash his own party.

Perhaps I am deluding myself in thinking that McCain will honor any tradition of Conservatism from which, for much of his political life, he's distanced himself. Perhaps those that think like I do, who lean right of center but with an ample degree of skepticism and objectivity which instills our libertarianism, are fooling ourselves into thinking that McCain will honor the ideology that is important for Conservatives and Conservatism.

If we end up with eight years of MrsSatan or four or eight years of The Obamalith, fine, I'll deal with, I know it will be painful. But at the end of that tenure maybe, just maybe, Conservatism will have rediscovered it roots - again - and bring forth a strong platform and a strong candidate that isn't so antagonistic to his own party.

And McCain...well, he can sit in his comfy chair and take his turn telling stories with Bob Dole and H.W. Bush about how he took the high road during his presidential campaign and...how he lost.

St. Paul Says No Drinking Outdoors!
Unless You Pay For It

Just yesterday I published this column about St. Paul city civic leaders seeking ways to attract new businesses into St. Tumbleweed. The civic leaders are very concerned with a "lack of retail and nightlife, too many panhandlers loitering, some decrepit buildings, no 'real grocery store and not enough incentives for businesses to set up shop."

Lo and behold one day later, the Sunday Minneapolis Red Star North Korean Tribune (MRSNKT) runs a story on how restaurants and cafes in St. Paul cannot allow their diners to bring alcohol-based beverages with them if dining on an outside deck or patio. The reason diners can't bring their drinks with them is because - according to the MRSNKT story - the law requires business owners to buy a
SECOND OUTDOOR LIQUOR LICENSE in order to legally allow their customers to drink liquor with their meal while seated outdoors.

And some people think that I unfairly criticize the abundance of onerous and restrictive regulations that not only keep new businesses from opening in St. Paul, but also burden the already existing businesses struggling to stay open.

Of course no St. Paul City Drama would be complete without input from one of my favorite Little Stalinists, St. Paul City Asshat, the pot-bellied, mooring rope-as-dental floss using Dave "Toothy Grin" Thune:

Council Member Dave Thune said the proposal [to make it easier to allow outdoor consumption of alcoholic beverages] has some good attributes, but he wants to make sure it doesn't get abused.

Oh, good Christ yes, Toothy, keep those restrictive reigns secure and tight. Since we in Minnesota have 70 degree weather all year long, the privilege of sipping a glass of wine or a cocktail cannot be allowed to reach "epidemic" proportions. Keep thinking up new "licenses" and fees that business owners must pay before they allow such a heinous act as allowing their customers to have a cocktail with their meal while seated outside.

I'm shocked the so-called city leaders of St. Paul haven't banned outdoor patio and deck smoking. Why, someone down the block might get a whiff of a molecule of cigarette smoke and come to believe that the air isn't perfectly pure and clean. Or maybe start thinking that that molecular particle whiff they inhaled will kill them. After all, the specious and refrain from the Militant No-Smoking Crowd is that there is no safe level of second-hand smoke. This is patently false.

And civic leaders wonder why downtown St. Paul is ghost town? Let downtown die, pave it over and turn it into a cemetery.

McCain Picks Wright As VP Candidate

Republican John McCain names Rev. Wright as VP choice.

New Orleans, LA
- Republican candidate for president and United States Senator John McCain shocked the political world today by announcing his selection of Rev. Jeremiah Wright as his Vice Presidential running mate. Wright was the controversial minister of the church attended by McCain's potential Democrat presidential candidate challenger and U.S. Illinois Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.

McCain made the announcement while at a campaign stop in New Orleans, LA in an area hit hard by hurricane Katrina, saying "I am proud that Rev. Wright has accepted my offer to be my Vice President."

Reporters peppered the Arizona Senator with questions why he chose Wright. "This is just another of my poking the Republican party in the eye with a sharp stick," giggled McCain, "I like stirring the pot like this because I'm a Maverick, damn it."

Wright, who admitted he was as shocked as anyone being offered part of the McCain ticket, said, "It took a few moments for me to accept his offer, but I figured now that I retired from the church I have nothing better to do."

Sofa Davenport, McCain spokeswoman, said the selection of Wright is based on appealing and bringing to the McCain campaign, "the bitter vote."

A reporter caught up with former Republican presidential candidate and ex Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney just as he exited a Cost Cutters. Romney was considered to be on the so-called "short list" of VP possibilities for McCain. Romney, reacting to news that McCain has selected Wright said, "Yeah, ironically enough this news does make me bitter."

Downtown St. Paul Has A Problem?

The story and headline: What's wrong with downtown? By Gita Sitaramiah of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, aka Twincities.com. Do a search on the title if the link brings you to a "register for free before we let you read this story" page.

Fifty civic boosters sounded off Thursday about downtown St. Paul.

Among the concerns mentioned: A lack of retail and nightlife, too many panhandlers loitering, some decrepit buildings, no "real" grocery store and not enough incentives for businesses to set up shop.

SHOCKING! No one, and I mean no one, could have possibly predicted that onerous and increased business and property taxes, price increases for fees and licenses and a no-smoking ban could possibly result in businesses closing and others moving to more tax-friendly suburbs. SHOCKING! A GREAT MYSTERY to be sure!

Nope - no one could have possibly guessed, in their worst case scenario, that higher property taxes, higher business taxes and onerous regulations would have a negative effect on attracting new businesses and help continue the operating of current businesses. No one could have seen this coming. No one.

Gas Costs More Under Democrats

Politico writer Martin Kady, II cites the below information for the price of a gallon of gas from the U.S. Department of Energy:

The price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline in January 2001 when George W. Bush took his oath of office was $1.46.

The price for a gallon of gas when the Republicans lost their majority in November 2006 was $2.19.

The price for a gallon of gas in January 2007, when the Democrat Majority and Speakeress
Nanny Pelosi were sworn into office, was $2.30.

The average price for a gallon of gas today is around $3.50.

So, from when Bush took office in January 2001 to January 2007 when the Democrats were sworn into office - six years years later - the price per gallon increased by .73 cents, or an increase of .12 cents per year.

In a little over one year, from January 2007 to April 2008, the price per gallon has increased by $1.20 with a Democrat majority.

Hmmmmmm...Interesting. How 'bout a round of applause, ladies and gentlemen, for the energy and gasoline policies of the Democrats.

CNN Sued Over Cafferty's China Remarks

CNN is being sued for $1.3 Billion dollars for bigoted statements made by CNN Talking Head Jack Cafferty. al Reuters:

A Chinese primary school teacher and a beautician have filed a suit against CNN in New York over remarks they say insulted the Chinese people and are seeking $1.3 billion in compensation -- $1 per person in China, a Hong Kong newspaper reported.

The case against the Atlanta-based cable channel, its parent company Turner Broadcasting and Jack Cafferty, the offending commentator, comes after 14 lawyers launched a similar suit in Beijing alleging that Cafferty's remarks earlier this month violated the dignity and reputation of the Chinese people.

Cafferty said the United States imported Chinese-made "junk with the lead paint on them and the poisoned pet food" and added: "They're basically the same bunch of goons and thugs they've been for the last 50 years".

CNN said Cafferty was expressing an opinion about the Chinese government, but the Foreign Ministry demanded an apology and accused the network of trying to drive a wedge between the Chinese people and leadership.

The lawsuits come amid a wave of criticism in China against Western news outlets in the wake of recent unrest in Tibet and disruptions to the Beijing Olympic torch relay abroad.

At the very least, Cafferty should be suspended from his job - perhaps even fired by CNN, for his remarks. I'm just using the same standard the Liberals used with Don Imus and his "nappy headed ho" statement.

Besides, it seems that Cafferty's comments are...well, I would say they seem bitter, and I thought it was the Left that embraces and advocates understanding and appreciating different cultures, different customs, different beliefs - why, even "talking with our enemy." So why would Cafferty have said such mean-spirited and divisive words? Liberals don't behave like that, do they?

David Axelrod And Dr. Phil:
Separated At Birth?

David Axelrod - chief campaign strategist for the Barack Hussein Bin Laden Osama Obama campaign; and highly-paid platitude-dispensing charlatan Dr. Phil; separated at birth?

(L / R) Dr. Phil, David Axelrod

Pelosi Quotes Nonexistent Biblical Verses

Speakeress of the United States House of Representatives, Democrat Nanny "Man Hands" Pelosi has been caught, quoting Bible verses on more than one occasion...that don't exist. Oh, this is a funny one. CNS:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is fond of quoting a particular passage of Scripture. The quote, however, does not appear in the Bible and is "fictional," according to biblical scholars.

In her April 22 Earth Day news release, Pelosi said, "The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, 'To minister to the needs of God's creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.' On this Earth Day, and every day, let us pledge to our children, and our children's children, that they will have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature."

Cybercast News Service repeatedly queried the speaker's office for two days to determine where the alleged Bible quote is found. Thus far, no one has responded.

Distinguished biblical scholars, however, cast doubt on the existence of the passage.

John J. Collins, the Holmes professor of Old Testament criticism and interpretation at Yale Divinity School, said he is totally unfamiliar with Pelosi's quotation.

"(It's) not one that I recognize," Collins told Cybercast News Service. "I assume that she means this is a paraphrase. But it wouldn't be a close paraphrase to anything I know of."

Claude Mariottini, a professor of Old Testament at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, told Cybercast News Service the passage not only doesn't exist - it's "fictional."

"It is not in the Bible," Mariottini said. "There is nothing that even approximates that."

    [...]

"The quote does not exist in the Old Testament, neither in the New Testament," said the Rev. Andreas Hock, a doctor of Scripture who teaches in the Roman Catholic archdiocese of Denver's St. John Vianney Seminary.

"Even in pieces or bits, (it) cannot be found in the Old Testament," he added.

Interestingly, Pelosi has mentioned the quote before, Mariottini noted.

"In truth, (she) has used this 'passage' in many different ways, and all of those usages have nothing to do with the Bible whatsoever," he said.

Bwa! Bwa ha ha ha! Could it be that Nanny is getting a little senile? She's not much younger than John McCain, and we all know how hold he is. Maybe the botox injections are taking their toll on Nanny's brain and she can no longer distinguish between reality and fairytale? Wait - that's every Democrat.

I wanted to give Pelosi the benefit of doubt, so I actually called her office and spoke with her about this above controversy and gave her a chance to explain herself. She said, and I quote, "Like the Bible says, 'no matter where you go, there you are.'"

The Ice Age Is Upon Us

In total contradiction to the Global Warming Alarmist Crowd, with their Cult Leader Albert Gore, Junior - the Man Who Would Not Be President - the good olde earth might just be heading into an ice age due to a lack of sun spot activity.

The Australian:

Disconcerting as it may be to true believers in global warming, the average temperature on Earth has remained steady or slowly declined during the past decade, despite the continued increase in the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide, and now the global temperature is falling precipitously.

All four agencies that track Earth's temperature (the Hadley Climate Research Unit in Britain, the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, the Christy group at the University of Alabama, and Remote Sensing Systems Inc in California) report that it cooled by about 0.7C in 2007. This is the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record and it puts us back where we were in 1930. If the temperature does not soon recover, we will have to conclude that global warming is over.

There is also plenty of anecdotal evidence that 2007 was exceptionally cold.

    [...]

The sunspot number follows a cycle of somewhat variable length, averaging 11 years. The most recent minimum was in March last year. The new cycle, No.24, was supposed to start soon after that, with a gradual build-up in sunspot numbers.

It didn't happen. The first sunspot appeared in January this year and lasted only two days. A tiny spot appeared last Monday but vanished within 24 hours. Another little spot appeared this Monday. Pray that there will be many more, and soon.

The reason this matters is that there is a close correlation between variations in the sunspot cycle and Earth's climate. The previous time a cycle was delayed like this was in the Dalton Minimum, an especially cold period that lasted several decades from 1790.

Northern winters became ferocious: in particular, the rout of Napoleon's Grand Army during the retreat from Moscow in 1812 was at least partly due to the lack of sunspots.

That the rapid temperature decline in 2007 coincided with the failure of cycle No.24 to begin on schedule is not proof of a causal connection but it is cause for concern.

It is time to put aside the global warming dogma, at least to begin contingency planning about what to do if we are moving into another little ice age, similar to the one that lasted from 1100 to 1850.

    [...]

All those urging action to curb global warming need to take off the blinkers and give some thought to what we should do if we are facing global cooling instead.

It will be difficult for people to face the truth when their reputations, careers, government grants or hopes for social change depend on global warming, but the fate of civilisation may be at stake.

In the famous words of Oliver Cromwell, "I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you may be mistaken."

Al Gore, Junior...mistaken?!?? 'Ya Think?

Sorcerers Stealing Or Shrinking Penises

From al-Reuters:

KINSHASA (Reuters) - Police in Congo have arrested 13 suspected sorcerers accused of using black magic to steal or shrink men's penises after a wave of panic and attempted lynchings triggered by the alleged witchcraft.

Reports of so-called penis snatching are not uncommon in West Africa, where belief in traditional religions and witchcraft remains widespread...

    [...]

Rumors of penis theft began circulating last week in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo's sprawling capital of some 8 million inhabitants. They quickly dominated radio call-in shows, with listeners advised to beware of fellow passengers in communal taxis wearing gold rings.

    [...]

Purported victims, 14 of whom were also detained by police, claimed that sorcerers simply touched them to make their genitals shrink or disappear, in what some residents said was an attempt to extort cash with the promise of a cure.

Why, this sounds like a case for The Hardly Boys!

Global Warming Blamed For Moose Decline

Moose are dying. The culprit...global warming, of course, how could you think it would be anything else?

From MacPaper:

Scientists who study the environment here, though, say disappearing moose and other changes are tangible evidence of global warming, making the region a research incubator that could improve understanding of the effects of climate change.

"Temperatures are increasing … more in the center of North America than on the edges, so it turns out that we are sitting in a sort of hot spot," says Lucinda Johnson, at the Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI) in Duluth.

Add another alarming statistic to the Global Warming Alarmist playbook.

Hillary Wins Pennsylvania By 10 Points

I guessed that Hillary Clinton would win by Pennsylvania by 10 points, plus or minus one and darned if I didn't get it right. VOA:

Senator Hillary Clinton has kept her presidential bid alive with a nearly 10-point victory over Senator Barack Obama in Tuesday's crucial Pennsylvania primary.

    [...]

On the morning after the Pennsylvania primary, Senator Hillary Clinton summed up her feelings about her nearly 10-point win on the CBS Early Show.

She's starting to warm up a little, maybe I'll vote for her after all.

Obama Waffles And Whines

It seems rather than answering a tough question,
The Obamalith instead of answering a reporter about Jimmy Carter meeting with Hamas, Barack Hussein Obama just wanted to eat his waffle and be left alone. ABC:

"Senator, did you hear about Jimmy Carter's trip. He said he could get Hamas to negotiate?" a reporter asked Obama Monday as he ate his waffle, sausage and orange juice with Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., who ordered pancakes.

Obama responded: "Why is it that like I can't just eat my waffle?"

"I'm just asking.." the reporter said.

"I'm just gonna eat my waffle right now," Obama said.

Obama's waffle comments were used by the Republican Party to cast him as unwilling to answer tough questions about foreign policy issues, and held up as an example of his closed media relations style.

Well, yeah - the Republicans should use this situation to point out that Ted Kennedy's Poodle not only gets to duck the hard questions, he's treated with kid gloves when he does!

Hopefully, not a scene from the future:

White House Counsel: "President Obama, what are you going to do about [insert catastrophic issue here]?"

President Obamalith: "Can't I just eat my waffle? I'm just gonna eat my waffle right now."

Oh yeah, we're in good hands with him...

Obama Crowd Blaming Diebold Voter Machines! Surprised? Not So Much...

The Left - especially the Obama Cultists - are talking about the 16 Pennsylvania counties that use Diebold voting machines and how their results are unauditable!

GASP! What's this? Diebold playing a part in a primary election between two Democrat candidates? Why, I thought it was only when Republican candidates were involved that the Diebold machines were "rigged". So...now Hillary and the Clinton Crime Family has the ability and possess the code to program the Diebolds? Well, that's how the whining, crying and belly-aching sounds from the Obamaniacs.

Here's a fine thread full of Diebold Tin Foil Hat Wearers:

No wonder Obama figures Hillary will win. Diebold at work again. No paper trail at all.

So...are we to believe that Democrats hack Diebold results for their own candidates? Oh, No Barry-O, say it ain't so!

Here's a great Diebold conspiracy believer:

Obama doesn't seem to be the candidate that Diebold will install this year, if the fascist mouthpieces have their way.

Oh, I guess it was fine and dandy when The Chosen Democrat wins an election - then, and only then, there is no voter manipulation or Diebold voting problems. But the moment the Cult Leader of the Moment doesn't win, it's because of voter fraud and corruption.

It will be nice to see Hillary "selected" rather than elected in Pennsylvania. Where have I heard a similar refrain to that?

"Things that go bump in the night....," suggested the celebrity player.

"What is a Diebold voting machine," replied the Democrat game show contestant.

Ding, Ding, Ding Ding went the sound effects indicating the Democrat contestant answered correctly.

Al Gore Doesn't Want To Intrude Into
The Energy Use Of His Rich Friends

Why did Global Warming Alarmist and Huckster, and the Man Who Would Not Be President, Albert Gore, Junior, in a recent
interview with The Sun say that he would never want to push his eco-beliefs onto his wealthy friends and the he would never ask or expect them to make sacrifices that would benefit the environment? Why, it sure sounds rather strange for someone who claims that so-called global warming could negatively affect the world for decades and with untold various disasters.

But while Gore wants you and me to reduce our standard of living, he has no expectation that his elitist cronies practice the same:

The man who is now as much part of the Hollywood Establishment as he was a political player with the Democratic Party is very careful not to upset any of his celebrity friends.

He wouldn’t dream of suggesting that their lavish jet-setting and gas-guzzling lifestyles could be reined in for the good of the environment.

When we point out that David Beckham has recently been given the dubious title of having the worst carbon footprint in history – clocking up enough air miles to fly to the moon and owning 15 gas-guzzling cars, Mr Gore shifts uncomfortably in his seat.

He knows what is coming next.

When asked what he would say to the football icon – a hero to millions – about his impact on the environment, Mr Gore refuses to be drawn.

He gives a huge belly-laugh at the notion that Posh and Becks could invest in an environmentally-friendly hybrid car such as a Toyota Prius.

He careful considers his answer before saying: “I don’t think that’s my place. I don’t want to get into personally criticising anyone.”

Recall the information from the Daily Mail, July 2007:

One hour in a Gulfstream jet burns as much fuel as driving a family car for a year.

It's not HIS place to criticize? Uh, isn't this what he's spent his entire life doing, especially with respect to his Global Warming Alarmist role?

My long-running standard test here, as regular readers know, is flipping the standards used by Liberals and applying it back onto themselves and their ideology. Let's do this with the issue of so-called global warming: Would anyone - especially anyone on the Left - even consider that so-called global warming posed a threat if the cheerleader crusading against global warming was former Vice President Dan Quayle instead of Junior Gore? Case closed pending new information.

Not Enough Pepper

You may be familiar with "Pepper...And Salt," the only comic strip appearing in the Wall Street Journal. It offers wry wit and observations that often has a political or economic thrust.

Well, sometimes I think the comic needs to push the envelope a bit more. So, from time to time - when the moment hits me - I'll be presenting my slightly altered version of "Pepper...And Salt".

Caution: Contains adult themes and language:

UPDATE / VENUE CHANGE:

If I would spent one more second analyzing it, I wouldn't have reproduced my altered "Pepper-Salt" cartoon here. It's not that I don't think it's funny, I do - nor do I think it's in bad taste. However, I should have been more cognizant of the language. The cartoon now can be found by clicking here.

Jimmy Carter Named Ambassador To Hamas

Well, it's official. Jimmy Carter, the Worst.President.Ever is now the Ambassador to Hamas. Think about this. This is insane. He is a Hamas mouthpiece. Outrageous!

He gave a speech on behalf of Hamas. Some video of Carter's speech can be seen here.

His actions shouldn't surprise us, really - he's been relegated to obscurity since his disastrous landslide loss to Ronald Regan - yet he returns from time to time acting on behalf of Terrorist Sympathizers and America-bashers. Another angry, bitter Democrat. Who could have known...who could have known?

If the next president is a Democrat, boy it sure would be nice to see reports of George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush on foreign soil giving speeches about how terrible the U.S. is under the current Democrat Administration. But no Republican ever does this, they have too much class.

The Democrats Are Sad And Angry

You read the post title and asked yourself, "well...when aren't they?" And you'd be right.

In this instance, I am referring to the Obamaniacs who are angry and sad that Hillary Clinton will appear on Larry King and Keith Olberwiener tonight. She may turn up on other broadcast and cable outlets.

My, isn't that convenient for her? That these programs were made available to her? Even more shocking, the Obamaheads don't think that Hillary getting this airtime is fair. Awwwwww, poor little misfits, I feel your pain. Barack Hussein Obama The Obamalith will only be on one program Monday night.

The hypocrisy here is so rich, being that so many Obamaniacs love the Olberwiener. Perhaps he'll be discarded into the pile of Liberal Traitors that includes CNN, ABC, CBS, Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopolous and others who don't have The Obamalith Chip Implant.

See, there's nothing that Hillary and Bill did to any Republican that they're not doing to Obama. The only difference is that the Clinton War Marchine is attacking another Democrat that is blindly worshipped by his cult followers. And the Obamaniacs - in what is by all appearances is their suffering from an acute organic medical disease - somehow want others to understand, sympathize and commiserate with them. Well, that's not how it works.

Remember, many of the former Obamaniacs were Hillary Clinton supporters and even a more sizable population were blind supporters of Bubba when he was the president. Now, these same little troglodytes feign and fake self-righteous outrage when the tactics they used against Republicans is turned around and used on one of their own candidates?

Nancy Pelosi Visits Minnesota

Oh, the Democrat welcoming committee consisting of Minnesota's finest Socialists was out at the Minneapolis Airport at 5AM Monday morning, rolling out a red carpet, greeting Nanny Pelosi with a plate of warm lutefisk and fresh coffee cake. Yum, yum - it doesn't get better than that, does it?

She was in Minnesota campaigning for one of her littler poodles who's up for re-election, Minnesota Democrat Congressman Tim Walz. Pelosi must owe Walz some campaign favors, paying him back for all the times he voted with the strict Democrat Politburo Majority. MN Pubic Radio:

Democratic U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was in Minneapolis this morning to talk to Minnesota veterans.

    [...]

U.S. Rep. Tim Walz, a DFLer who represents Minnesota's 1st Congressional District, organized and moderated the discussion. Walz is up for re-election this year, and Pelosi is also hosting a fundraiser for him while she's in the Twin Cities.

Nanny isn't fooling anybody...

Young At Heart Chorus

Why haven't I heard about this group before? They're great! They being The Young At Heart Chorus, a musical group that:

...began in 1982 the members all lived in an elderly housing project in Northampton, MA called the Walter Salvo House. The first group included elders who lived through both World Wars. One of our members had fought in the Battle of the Somme as a 16 year old and another, Anna Main, lost her husband in the First World War. Anna was a stand-up comic who at 88 told jokes that only she could get away with. She sang with us until she was 100.

    [...]

The current performers in Young@Heart range in age from 72 to 88. There are some with prior professional theater or music experience, others who have performed extensively on the amateur level, and some who never stepped onto a stage before turning eighty. None of the current performers of Y@H were part of the original group that formed in 1982, but they have kept alive the spirit of the early pioneers and continue to push the group into glorious new directions.

The guy in the white suit in the first video - ala John Travolta - is Fred Knittle whose voice is off-the-charts fantastic. Mr. Knittle suffers from congestive heart failure, but you'd never know it by his voice.

If you can find it with adequate volume, check out Knittle's version of Coldplays "Fix You" on the internet, it is fantastic. The Knittle videos I've seen all had rather low audio volume - not bad quality audio - not just loud enough. This one is the best I ran across.

The first selection below is the group's rendition of the Bee Gees "Stayin' Alive" / Gloria Gaynor "I Will Survive" medley --- and it's great!

The below video is the Young At Heart Chorus' version of the Talking Heads hit "Road To Nowhere."

And here's another performance that is a MUST SEE, the link to the Y@HC version of the Ramones' "I Wanna Be Sedated."

“We had four spoons,” deadpanned Mrs. Obama during her late night talk show debut.

She added: “And then my father got a raise at the plant, and we had five spoons.”

Man, she's funny - a regular Totie Fields.

No wife of a Republican candidate could get away with that without being on the receiving end of merciless ridicule and low-rent barbs thrown over and over by the Rabid Insane Liberal Clown Posse.

Das Puck

Well...the Colorado Avalanche beat the Minnesota Wild 2-1 Saturday night, winning the series 4-2.

The eyebrow-raising statistic coming out of this series being noted by sportswriters is that out of a possible 384.23 minutes of ice time in these six games, the Wild only led in scoring for 4 minutes, and 31 seconds. Any team can be doing a lot right on offense and defense, but if you can't sustain a lead - especially in hockey - beyond a few minutes, the chances of winning are...just.not.there.

Colorado deserved to win, they outplayed the Wild. Avalanche fans - as passionate as are Wild fans - must have had partied well into the night in Denver with their home win. The Avalanche are to be congratulated as is their goalie Jose Theodore. If his goal-stopping-streak continues through the playoffs - and there's nothing saying it shouldn't - Colorado seems unbeatable.

Last week in the Montreal Canadiens versus Baaawston Bruins series, Baaawston trailed 1-3. It was thought to be a short matter of time and work until Montreal eliminated them. The Bruins rallied back with damn impressive play tying the series 3-3 with game seven on Monday in Montreal, eh. 6PM. I'm sayin' Montral wins at home.

The Detroit Red Wings wrapped up their series 4-2 by a win of 3-0 in Nashville this afternoon.

San Jose leading Calgary 3-2 in their series. Game 6 tonight in Calgary, 7PM.

Dallas leading the Ducks 3-2 in their series. Ducks in Steerland tonight, 8PM.

The teams over the past week I said would be eliminated, the Devils, Baaawson, Washington and the Ducks, only the Devils have been eliminated. The others are making comebacks.

I have to think that Dallas brings it to an end tonight, winning at home, don't you?

Also, I have to think Calgary closes it up at home against the Sharks, providing an abundant opportunity for Calgarians - is that the right term - to be still be partying at sunrise and hungover all day Monday.

Game 6 of the Flyers vs Capitals Monday night in Philly, Flyers ahead in the series, 3-2.

As is teh Usual, NHL.com has all the 411, baaybeeeee! (in my best Dick Vitale impression).

Obama's False Tax Facts

There is a long list of things where Democrat U.S. Senator and Presidential candidate Barack Osama Bin Laden Obama has lied, been less than honest, attempted to rewrite his own history and flip-flopped on many issues where he's been caught fibbing.

It is what he said in the Wednesday night debate that is so incredulous and eye-opening, with misdirected anger and fallout from Obamaniacs directed at debate moderator ABC News Anchor Charlie Gibson.

The debate topic was raising the capital gains tax. Obama said he favored raising the top capital gains rate to 28%. Doing this, according to the Friday, April 18, 2008 Wall Street Journal is a "tax hike on some 100 million Americans who own stock, including millions of people who fit Mr. Obama's definition of middle class."

Twice - twice - Charlie Gibson tried to explain to Obama that raising the rate of capital gains taxes results in less revenue for the government and twice Obama denied this proven history of this fact.

From the WSJ, (italicized emphasis the WSJ):

[Obama said], raising the capital gains tax is necessary, "to make sure...that our tax system is fair and that we are able to finance health care for Americans who currently don't have it and that we're able to invest in our schools. And you can't do that for free."

But Mr. Gibson had noted that higher rates yielded less: revenue. So the news anchor tried again: "But history shows that when you drop the capital gains tax, the revenues go up?" Mr. Obama responded that this "might happen or it might not. It depends on Wall Street and how business is going."

    [...]

When the tax rate has risen over the past half century, capital gains realizations have fallen and along with them tax revenue. The most recent such episode was in the early 1990s, when Mr. Obama was old enough to be paying attention. That's one reason Jack Kennedy proposed cutting the capital gains rate. And it's one reason Bill Clinton went along with a rate cut to 20% from 28% in 1997.

The assessment of Obama by the WSJ is this, (italicized emphasis the WSJ):

Either the young Illinois Senator is ignorant of this revenue data, or he doesn't really care because he's a true income redistributionist who prefers high tax rates as a matter of ideological dogma regardless of the revenue consequences.

Obama has to know raising the rate on capital gains will reduce revenue, but he doesn't care because he's a populist. He's a populist who doesn't think anyone will notice, or question him on his beliefs or policy. But Charlie Gibson did, and boy did he and ABC get a trashing from the rabid Obama supporters who believe their Golden Candidate is above any second-guessing.

In the debate Hillary Clinton also said she would consider raising the capital gains rates and also promised not to raise taxes on middle class Americans, "people making less than $250,000 a year."

Obama also proposed lifting the cap on wages subject to payroll tax. The WSJ:

"If you raise the payroll taxes, that's going to raise taxes on [people earning $97,500 in 2007 and is $102,000 this year," said] Gibson. Ignoring the no-tax pledge he had made five minutes earlier, Mr. Obama explained that such a tax increase was nevertheless necessary.

Back to Ted Kennedy' Poodle; he's a smart and educated politician. He knows raising the rate on capital gains taxes results in less government revenue. He thinks he can play fast and loose with the facts, Charlie Gibson called him on it and the Obamasphere, in their usual manufactured double-standard feigned reaction, heap blame, lashing out at Gibson and ABC.

If the issue of taxes and how Obama feels about them - and how he flip flops on them - isn't a legitimate issue for any debate moderator to pursue questioning, what is?

The real irony here is that some of the Obamaniacs - especially those who now disdain Hillary - were part of the same crowd who wanted to censor ABC Television for their mini-series critical of the Clinton Administration, "The Path To 9-11." The hypocrisy of some people knows no bounds, does it?

If Obama is so sincere and honest, and has nothing to hide and is so knowledgeable on all the important issues, why are his supporters so deathly afraid of him being asked hard questions - sometimes more than once? Of what are they afraid?

Marijuana enforcement is clogging prisons with people for using a drug that is demonstrably safer than alcohol. That's not to say pot addiction isn't a problem and doesn't sometimes carry with it consequences for the user, from lung disease to lassitude. Marijuana should be decriminalized.

...this Sunday's annual "4/20" smoke-in on the University of Colorado campus will be participating in what is mostly a juvenile stunt. Obama Toasted Auchi And So Much
Else Collapsing In ObamaWorld

It was just the other day we had the news that Osama Bin Hussein Obama didn't recall meeting Nadhmi Auchi.

Thursday, in the Tony Rezko trial, there was testimony that Obama not only attended parties where Auchi was present, but that a Chicago Sun Times columnist reports that a source claims Obama had not only attended the April 2004 event but also "made a few toasts." ABC cites the Sun Times as their source.

Hamas leader Ahmed Yousuf endorsed Barack Hussein Bin Obama as the person he'd like to see in the White House. Hamas, you may recall, advocates and practices such delightful things as suicide-homicide bombers and using children as a delivery method of these types of terrorist acts.

It will be interesting to watch and see how long it will take before Obama vociferously renounces the endorsement of Ahmed Yousuf. Why it isn't the immediate response from Obama is purely politically transparent. He doesn't want to upset his like-minded America haters, like Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

The Left would be howling and demanding John McCain denounce any endorsement from someone controversial, and to call Yousuf controversial is an understatement.

So, when will Obama repudiate the endorsement from Yousuf? Well, start the countdown, it will probably be a long time. Obama is the Terrorist-friendly candidate and flavor of the the election year.

And like his connection to Underground domestic terror group's William Ayers, who said of 9-11 that he "wished the terrorists had done more." This is someone Obama was associating with in 2001! Obama couldn't even stammer together a response, instead, he criticized that the issue was being raised. The Telegraph:

Mrs Clinton said: "If I'm not mistaken, that relationship with Mr. Ayers on this board continued after 9/11 and after his reported comments, which were deeply hurtful to people in New York and, I would hope, to every American, because they were published on 9/11, and he said that he was just sorry they hadn't done more."

Mr Obama protested: "The problem is that that's the kind of politics that we've been accustomed to. And I think Senator Clinton learned the wrong lesson from it because she's adopting the same tactics.

"What the American people want are not distractions. They want to figure out, how are we going to actually deliver on health care? How are we going to deliver better jobs for people?"

No, we want you to answer the question Barack, Hussein.

Richard Adams, writing at the Guardian, called the debate The Worst. Debate.Ever:

It took almost 50 minutes into the debate before the first question came that resembled something to do with policy, rather than warmed-up campaign sniping phrased as questions, and which ran the gamut from banal to inane. At the end of the debate members of the crowd appeared to be booing moderator Charlie Gibson.

The blogosphere was not happy. Not happy at all....

"In perhaps the most embarrassing performance by the media in a major presidential debate in years," began Greg Mitchell on the Huffington Post, "ABC News hosts Charles Gibson and George Stephanopolous focused mainly on trivial issues as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama faced off in Philadelphia. They, and their network, should hang their collective heads in shame."

I watched the last 45 minutes of the Clinton-Obama debate, a point where - well, even by then a high-school debate team should be feeling at least secure in their delivery and comfortability - but not Obama who seemed distracted, responding in yet another debate with broad and sweeping vague generalizations all lacking specificity.

His response at first on not taxing anyone earning under $95,000 a year and a few minutes later saying taxing people making under $250,000 - when made of aware of his error - replied, we'll figure that out later. Uh, no - you should be able to answer it after all this time. Why can't he?

And the whining and crying and tantrums being thrown by the Obamaniacs...why, they just don't think that their Cult Leader should be subject to such hard questions. What's the matter, Obama-ites, can't your candidate stand up to big bad Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopolous?

Awwwwwww, that's so sad. The Senator From Illinois can't take the heat from a couple of ABC reporters? What's he going to do in the White House? Scary! Obama has no gravitas. None.

U.S. Congressman and Defeatocrat from Pennsylvania John "Madman" Murtha
on Wednesday said that Republican Presidential candidate John McCain is "too old" to be president." Murtha is four years older than McCain.

Heh - oh that Murtha, the guy who if he wasn't busy being the Pork King of Wasteful Spending and not serving in the House, he'd be on his porch, wearing a straw hat, just a few houses down the block from you, yelling at kids to stay out of his yard and off his lawn.

Democrat Tom Lantos, who died in February was 80 years old and still serving in Congress having been re-elected to his 14th term.

Robert Byrd, the long serving U.S. Senator from West Virginia and former Ku Klux Klansman is 89 years old, having just been re-elected in 2006...doing that math that would have made him 87 then.

It must be okay to be old, as long as you have a pulse and can occupy a seat in the Senate or House, keeping it just warm enough so that it stays "Democrat."

For all the attempts by Osama Hussein Bin Obama to smear merchant McCain over this issue of age, Obama was certainly supportive and helped fundraise for 87-year old Bob Byrd. And this story is so rich because it's reprinted at Common Dreams, about as Far Left as you can get, from the March 31, 2005 Charleston Gazette:

Early Tuesday afternoon, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., sent an appeal over the Internet urging people to contribute to the re-election campaign of Sen. Robert C. Byrd, D-W.Va.

In less than 24 hours, more than 15,000 contributors gave $634,000 to Byrd’s campaign, according to the National Journal’s daily Internet publication “Hotline.” The average donation was about $42.25.

In Obama’s appeal, sent out by the MoveOn Political Action Committee, he wrote, “In 2006, Senator Byrd will be the target of Republicans because he stands up for what he believes. Will you join me in supporting Senator Byrd’s campaign for re-election, before a critical deadline this Thursday?”

    [...]

Obama closed his Tuesday letter by stating, “A Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate would mean a real change in the priorities of Washington, but more importantly, it would provide significant change for everyday people across America.

“Remember, in order to win back the Senate majority, we need Robert Byrd.”

Ahhhhh, yes, just two short years ago Obama steadfastly supported the re-election of someone who was 87 years old. My, how two short years and different political ideology make a difference.

The Puck Is Dropped

Well, when there's a slight reduction in work here, you know one thing is going on, the NHL playoffs are in full swing. This is especially true when the Minnesota Wild is playing, and they are against the Colorado Avalanche, each team even - 2-2 - in the best of seven games.

Tuesday night the Ducks won their first game of three, in a series with Dallas. Game 4 is Thursday in Dallas. The path back for the Ducks will be hard to waddle through.

The Montreal Canadiens lead their series with Baawston 3-1; way to go Montreal! Don't look to Boston to make a triumphant comeback.

NY Rangers lead 2-1 against the NJ Devils. Some think after tonight Rangers have it 3-1. Yeah, Rangers probably pick another win tonight, unless NJ ratchets up the passion that they're known for.

Nashville Predators down 1-2 against the Detroit Red Wings. Game four tonight in Nashville. Detroit - almost always a force to be reckoned with in the playoff season.

I'll make a prediction that Pittsburgh sweeps their series 4-0 with a win against Ottawa, tonight in Scotiabank Place.

Philly ahead 2-1 against the Senators. Heh - The Senators... I entertain happy images of severely cross-checking Cluck Schumer.

Calgary and San Jose tied 2 piece, game five Thursday night in San Jose.

I expect that any day now TC will join in blogging about the playoffs. Shout out TC, leave a comment. Who are you picking in Calgary and SJ? CO and MN?

Hockey Nation also doing fine coverage.

Obama Doesn't Remember Meeting Arms Dealer Auchi At 2004 Rezko Party

Hmmmmmmmm, I wonder what the Left would be saying if Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain had met someone who teamed up with Saddam Hussein to kill a former Iraqi President?

Osama Hussein Obama meets Nadhmi Auchi at Tony Rezo party in 2004. Chicago Tribune:

Just weeks after winning the Democratic U.S. Senate primary in 2004, Barack Obama was the guest of developer Antoin "Tony" Rezko at a party for a controversial British billionaire whom Rezko was trying to lure into an investment, a witness testified Monday at Rezko's corruption trial.

Stuart Levine, the government's star witness, said Obama and his wife, Michelle, were among the guests at Rezko's home on April 3, 2004, for the party honoring Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born tycoon currently appealing a fraud conviction in France.

    [...]

Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt repeated what the senator has said: "Sen. Obama does not recall meeting Nadhmi Auchi at any time or on any occasion, and this includes any event that may have been held for Mr. Auchi," LaBolt said.

So...just weeks after being elected, Ted Kennedy's Poodle now claims he doesn't recall meeting Auchi? Four, short years ago? Huh, Obama sure has problems with his recollections when it comes to meeting with those who may be considered terrorists, not much different than his meeting with the former members of the Weather Underground.

Here's what Wiki says about Nadhmi Auchi:

Nadhmi Auchi is a British billionaire businessman who was born in Iraq.

In the Sunday Times Rich List 2007 ranking of the wealthiest people in the UK he was placed 18th with an estimated fortune of £1,995 million.[1]

Nadhmi Auchi was charged along with Saddam Hussein for conspiring to assassinate Iraqi President Abdul-Karim Qasim in 1959. Qasim was injured while his bodyguard was killed; Saddam managed to flee the country. Auchi was arrested for delivering weapons to the assassins but was later pardoned by President Qasim.

Mr. Auchi is a business partner of Syrian-born businessman Antoin "Tony" Rezko, who has supported US Presidential candidate Barack Obama financially since his first run for the Illinois state senate in 1996.

    [...]

Federal prosecutors allege a $10,000 contribution made by Mr. Rezko to Sen. Obama came from a $250,000 kickback.

    [...]

Nadhmi Auchi graduated in Economics and Political Science from the Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad in 1967. He also worked with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, becoming Director of Planning and Development.

    [...]

Mr. Auchi is also the president of the Anglo Arab Association (AAO), which is a private non-profit making organisation, promoting the integration of British Arabs into mainstream British society, whilst retaining their identity.

Hmmmmm, ties to Big Oil? Someone who conspired with Saddam Hussein to kill another? Someone promoting the integration of Sharia Law into mainstream society...why, what's that? Liberals would be crying "separation of church and state" if Obama was McCain and Auchi was...oh...I don't know...Pat Robertson?

Back to the Chi Trib story:

Levine testified that he was at the Auchi party and saw the Obamas there as well as other political luminaries, including Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn and various cabinet officials in the Blagojevich administration. The governor was not in attendance, Levine said.

Monday's testimony from Levine was not the first time it has been suggested that Rezko may have tried to capitalize on Obama's growing celebrity in 2004 to impress potential investors in the Roosevelt Road project.

Hmmmmmmm...very interesting. But the Obamaniacs will not pay this a second thought.

Pelosi Tries To Kill Free Trade

35 former senior Democrats have signed and delivered a letter to U.S. Speakeress of the House Nanny Pelosi saying they support the Colombia Free Trade Agreement and resent Pelosi's attempts to kill the bill. WSJ Online:

"We believe this Agreement is in both our vital national security and economic interests," the letter says. "We feel that the treaty should be considered as soon as possible and that any obstacles be quickly and amicably resolved." Good luck with that last point given Ms. Pelosi's eagerness to take orders from the AFL-CIO.

But the men and woman who signed the letter are notable for their prominence in the Clinton and Carter Administrations – which is to say when Democrats were still a free-trading party. The list includes Bernard Aronson, former Assistant Secretary of State for Inter-American Affairs, whose area of expertise included Colombia. There's also Donna Shalala, former Secretary of HHS, plus Robert Pastor, former director for Latin America on the National Security Council and nobody's idea of a right-winger.

Also Former Secretary of Defense William Cohen and former Deputy Defense Secretary John Hamre; former Congresspersons Lee Hamilton, Dan Glickman, Patricia Schroeder, Steve Solarz, Sam Gibbons and Calvin Dooley, and former Senators Robert Kerrey, Bob Graham and John Breaux.

Yes, we know: Former Members of Congress don't have to vote and face the wrath of the Teamsters. But they do know the national interest, and their three-page letter makes clear the damage Congress will do if it defeats the Colombia FTA.

You know...I can't be the only one who sees hypocrisy (yeah, shocking - I know - isn't it?) with the Democrats. It's not that long ago that when Patrick J. Buchanan advocated political ideas such as protecting American jobs that he was labeled an "isolationist," by the Lefties.

What will Nanny ultimately do? What will she decide? Her decision will be what someone tells her to do.

Gore And Carter Stage Hillary Intervention? Like That Will Ever Happen

You may have seen the story about Democrat "Elders", former Vice President, Creator of the Internet and Global Warming Alarmist-Huckster Albert Gore, Junior and Worst.President.Ever Jimmy Carter will "intervene" and gently convince Hillary Clinton to exit her race for the White House.

Carter-Gore to team up against Hillary. The Scotsman via FOX News:

Jimmy Carter and Al Gore are planning to call for Hillary Clinton to end her presidential run, according to an article published Sunday in a Scottish newspaper.

The Scotsman — the same paper that quoted Barack Obama adviser Samantha Power calling Clinton a “monster,” which resulted in her dismissal from the campaign — reported that the two politicians are teaming up because they believe it is in their party’s best interest to end the prolonged battle for the Democratic presidential nomination and unite behind Obama, who continues to maintain a lead over Clinton in number of pledged delegates.

“They’re in discussions,” a source close to Carter reportedly told the newspaper. “Carter has been talking to Gore. They will act, possibly together, or in sequence.”

According to the report, the two party elders will either meet with Clinton privately to urge that she withdraw her candidacy or they will publicly endorse Obama in the hopes that more superdelegates will follow suit.

Yeah, look - here's how the above goes down. You think Gore and Carter, two meek, conciliatory and submissive sub-beta males are going to try to tell Hillary anything, especially that she has to pull out of the race? Junior Gore and Carter leave that meeting permanently talking seven octaves higher and wearing culottes.

A meeting between Junior Gore, Carter and Hillary goes down just like Joan Crawford addressing the Board of Directors at Pepsi. See "Dippy Dialogue", a little bit further down from the middle (section) of the linked story.

Besides...if the tolerant Obamaniacs don't treat her nicely, she might just run as an independent, and no, that's not "that far" out of the question.

McCain Calls For Gas Tax Suspension

Republican presidential candidate John McCain called for a summer suspension of the federal gas tax between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Hillary Clinton is missing a golden moment of political opportunity on this issue. She knows - as does McCain - that the reality of the Feds dropping the tax on gasoline for three months is unlikely to happen. By a large margin. But it sounds good. And a suspension of the federal gas tax for three months is a good idea, but Democrats will never, ever agree to tax reductions, not even those that are temporary. So why isn't Hillary jumping on this bandwagon?

The federal taxes on gasoline is hardest on workers that Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle claims to represent. Obama's never going to advocate any type of tax relief. So why isn't Hillary taking advantage of this and saying McCain is right.

The other half of the Libs are poking fun at McCain's idea, but if Obama had suggested the same, it would have been the "hope" in politics and a bold idea that "changed" the face of traditional politics and campaigning. Plus it'll help the environment too, the Sky Is Falling Crowd would chime in.

So - not that she needs my free advice, but Hillary, why aren't you jumping on the bandwagon with McCain on this one?

Obama: "Excuse Town" And "What He Meant To Say Was...," Empty Rhetoric

Absolut Bitter

Another day following Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle sticking both shoes in his mouth, we have another day of Democrats and Obamaniacs desperately spinning for Oama describing not only Pennsylvania voters, but everyone, as being bitter.

Obama played the Bitter card - saying things that had they been spoken by any Republican the Left would rip that politician to shreds - and here's a few samples of what I heard on Liberal Talk Radio on Monday, from callers and program hosts, who are in the tank for Obama and blind and deaf to any objective criticism of him:

"What Obama meant to say is..." (this one was really popular, almost seminar caller status on both Lefty and Righty Talk Radio)

"These are the words of a leader." (leaders tell their voters they are bitter?)

"At least what he said was the truth after seven years of Bush lying to us." (various versions of this one all day long in Liberal Radio)

"This shows he has experience." (various variations of this and a "huh-wtf are you talking about" reaction)

"The [Hillary] Clinton campaign is really twisting his words on this one." (this one is rich, creamy rich - little bits of nougat, and chocolaty rich).

"He's offering us a brand new type of leadership." (caller to Ed Schultz 14 minutes into the third hour of his program 4-14-08).

Yes, he wants to bring us the politics of bitterness. We all live in Hicksville, none of us wearing shoes. We marvel at them tall buildings that reach into the sky when we visit the big city once every five years.

Obama, The Arrogant.

Because it's never too early to compare a Liberal Politician to Hitler

It's the Left, all the Left, that is bitter. Wealthy Liberals are bitter, medium income Liberals are bitter and lower income Liberals are bitter. They're all bitter. The point is, their bitterness has nothing to their income level or comfort in lifestyle. It has nothing to do with gender, marital status, age or color. All Liberals are bitter.

Obama's "hope and change," is Bill Clinton's 1992 "I feel your pain." It's phony surface material.

The Delicate, Psychological-friendly Peaceful Left - if it were anyone but Obama calling Americans bitter - would be telling us the person who made those statements is "hostile," divisive," "mean-spirited" and worthy of some type of 12-step program and mental health counselling.

But the Left is handing out Lifetime Free Passes to The Pood.

Our exclusive political expert, Baby Democrat sums up this story:

Obama's Small Town
Full Of Bitter Village Idiots

Bele: "I'm a charlatan, damn it, not a doctor!"

See, this is how it works:

Osama Hussein Obama is in San Francisco, hitting up really upper crust, big money bagazillionaires for campaign donations. Before they part with their money - primarily because no one is cheaper than uber-wealthy Liberals - they ask him why he isn't doing better in the Pennsylvania race. From, Clinton seizes Obama Moment by Katharine Q. Seelye and Jeff Zeleny campaign 2008 , by the New York Times:

[The people in] "these small towns in Pennsylvania [are] bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Then, the fallout began and Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle started to spin. The NYT:

"Lately there has been a little typical sort of political fare up because I said something that everybody knows is true, which is that there are a whole bunch of folks in small town in Pennsylvania, in towns right here in Indiana, in my hometown in Illinois, who are bitter."

Oh, so now it's not just not Pennsylvanians who are bitter, other of us rubes are bitter too? Thanks for 'splainin' that, Massa Obama.

It sounds like this bitterness is spreading, why it sounds like it's...
...it's...
...it's an epidemic!

The Pood, inserting the remainder of his second foot in his mouth capped his spin, saying:

"a natural response [for people to have] because you know the truth is that these traditions that are passed on from generation to generation, those are important."

Man...and it was only four years ago a large part of the population thought John Kerry was arrogant and elitist? I don't think any Republican politician or presidential candidate could ever get away with as many "botched jokes" or "what he really meant is" Free Passes that the Left freely hands out to "their own." To Obama, voters are simply "Cletus - The Slack Jawed Yokel."

This "bitterness" he mentions apparently cannot be blamed on the last seven years of George W. Bush and Richard Cheney, because Obama says, "these (he means "bitterness" as a "natural response") traditions have been passed on generation to generation." Huh, another failure of Liberalism I guess - because one of the great causes and cries from Liberals and Progressives was to eliminate bitterness. Oh well...back to the drawing board on that one, Dems?

Have you noticed how everyone on the Obama Bandwagon is bitter? Let's see now, Obama is bitter, his wife is bitter, his Reverend Wright is bitter, his Rev. James T. Meeks is bitter, Donnie McClurkin is bitter, Hanoi Jane said she will vote for him and we know she's bitter, members of his campaign staff are bitter (some even had to be dismissed or "let go"), his other spiritual advisers are bitter, his supporters are bitter, Tony Rezko seems bitter, his fake fainters - who knows - maybe bitterness made them faint...now the voters in PA are bitter and that bitterness is spreading to Indiana and Illinois. Why, we all must be bitter, it's the Trickle Down effect of Bitterness from the Obama Campaign! They act as a "host" for bitter, infecting everyone with whom they come in contact.

Does it get more difficult, on a daily basis - all you Liberals and Progressives - to remain in your state of Deep, Deep Denial whenever your candidate (Obama or Hillary Clinton, it makes no difference) says something that, if the statement were made by a Republican, would send you into High Gear Pounce And Smear Campaign?

The Democrat Presidential Candidates: "Doing More To Bring You Less"

Almost every day there is a new story that legitimately brings a serious charge about Obama to light. Almost every day the Obamaniacs maintain either dutiful silence or engage the game of "explaining away" where the severity of what Obama said or did is downplayed and given a low profile. In their next breath, these are the same people who say that Republican presidential candidate, " John McCain said we'll be in Iraq for 100 years." And the Clintonites believe the same about her - that she can do no wrong - as the Obamaniacs believe about him. I find their handstands and always-changing positioning amusing, don't you?

I'm all for Obama being the Democrat presidential candidate, I've said this before. I won't vote for him, I think McCain will have an easier time beating Obama than he would Hillary Clinton. And even if Obama wins, with him we get four years of Jimmy Cater 2: "The Malaise Returns". Obama is voted out in 2012 and replaced by a Republican.

With Hillary, if she gets her foot in the door, we will have her for eight years, make no mistake about it and hold me to this prediction. She will see to it that come hell or high water, she will have two full terms and this...this makes blood shoot out of my stomach.

I'm not ready to vote for McCain either, so this is no endorsement of his campaign.

We can look forward to six and a half more months of almost daily stories of Obama saying or doing something that reveals who he really is. And six and a half more months of The Cult Members holding any Democrat to different standards than they would apply to a Republican?

How hard can it be for McCain to win in November?

Obama Flip Flops On Public Financing

Well, another flip-flop lie from Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle.

In March 2007, Obama said he would agree to public financing with regard to his presidential campaign. NY Times:

Senator John McCain joined Senator Barack Obama on Thursday in promising to accept a novel fund-raising truce if each man wins his party’s presidential nomination.

The promises by Mr. McCain, Republican of Arizona, and Mr. Obama, Democrat of Illinois, are an effort to resuscitate part of the ailing public financing system for presidential campaigns.

    [...]

“Should John McCain win the Republican nomination, we will agree to accept public financing in the general election, if the Democratic nominee agrees to do the same,” said [manager of Mr. McCain’s campaign, Terry Nelson].

A spokesman for Mr. Obama, Bill Burton, said, “We hope that each of the Republican candidates pledges to do the same.”

Mr. Burton added that if nominated Mr. Obama would “aggressively pursue an agreement” with whoever was his opponent.

To clarify "aggressively pursue an agreement..." - he meant that Obama would accept public financing and do everything within his means to hold his Republican opponent to doing the same.

But now, in April 2008, corrupted by raising $40-some million dollars a month in campaign contributions,
Hussein Obama no longer wants to keep the promise he made in March 2007. AP:

Barack Obama, whose fundraising prowess has set records, appears to be paving the way to bypass the public financing system in the fall without yet spelling out his intentions.

Last year, Obama indicated he would accept public funds if his Republican opponent did as well. But as John McCain takes steps to accept the $84 million available in federal money for the general election, Obama has been hedging.

    [...]

"Barack Obama publicly promised the American people that he would accept public financing if he is the nominee of his Party. Launching his campaign by going back on a promise to voters would be dishonest, and exposes his politics of hope as empty rhetoric out of a typical politician," McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds.

He is the Magic Negro - Black Jeebus to his cult followers - flip-flopping on yet another issue, breaking yet another promise.

I could ask if the Left would let a Republican get away with what Black Jeebus is doing on this issue, but asking these questions is getting redundant. We ALL know the answer.

Democrats Ignore Mo

I stumbled across this very revealing item from Slate. It is revealing because it reflects how Democrats use and abuse their own members and then toss them aside - forgetting, ignoring and neglecting them - when they no longer are useful.

"Mo" is Morris Udall, a former Democrat U.S. Senator from Arizona. His current residence is a hospital where he is likely to spent the rest of his life; or what's left of it.

One person...according to Slate...one person - one person visits him on a regular basis. One person.

That person is Republican Senator and Presidential candidate fellow Arizonian John McCain:

From Slate.com:

For the past few years, Udall has lain ill with Parkinson's disease in a veterans hospital in Northeast Washington, which is where we were heading. Every few weeks, McCain drives over to pay his respects. These days the trip is a ceremony, like going to church, only less pleasant. Udall is seldom conscious, and even then he shows no sign of recognition. McCain brings with him a stack of newspaper clips on Udall's favorite subjects: local politics in Arizona, environmental legislation, Native American land disputes, subjects in which McCain initially had no particular interest himself.

    [...]

Beneath a torn gray blanket on a narrow hospital cot, Udall lay twisted and disfigured. No matter how many times McCain tapped him on the shoulder and called his name, his eyes remained shut.

    [...]

A nurse entered and seemed surprised to find anyone there, and it wasn't long before I found out why: Almost no one visits anymore. In his time, which was not very long ago, Mo Udall was one of the most-sought-after men in the Democratic Party. Yet as he dies in a veterans hospital a few miles from the Capitol, he is visited regularly only by a single old political friend, John McCain. "He's not going to wake up this time," McCain said.

This is sad and a tragedy, considering Udall helped launch the political careers of many Democrats. Without his help, many of them would have had little chance of a successful political career. Now that they've gotten what they wanted from Udall, they no longer have any use for him and can't be bothered to even occasionally pay their respect by visiting him.

I can only imagine that an excuse for not visiting Udall would be, "well, he doesn't recognize me anyway." This is irrelevant. You recognize him, and this is all that matters. This is all that matters.

How fellow Democrats ignore Udall shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone though, because this is how Democrats treat most people. Once they've gotten what they want from someone, that person is rendered into an ash heap of distant memories never to be thanked, acknowledged or recognized again. Nice bunch of politicians these Democrats are. They treat their elders so nicely, don't they?

Randi Rhodes Exits Air America!

Na na na na, Na na na na,
Hey Hey, Good bye!

Randi Rhodes - real last name Buten, or married (now divorced she is) name Robertson - has
exited - Stage Left, as Snagglepuss would say - from her AirHead America program for her profanity-laden tirade that included her saying that, "Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro are f*cking whores." NY Times:

The radio host Randi Rhodes has left Air America, the progressive radio outlet said Thursday, ending her national syndicated show and leaving the network with a three-hour hole in its afternoon schedule.

Of course the question is - with the absence of one hole being replaced by another hole - will anyone even notice? Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha! Sorry for laughing at my own joke there.

Some unconfirmed reports say she was fired.

Oh, Sweet Glorious, Exuberant, Orgiastic, Wad-Busting, Sending Mega-Tingles up my Leg to my Wiener, Sweet, Su-wheeeeeeeeeeet
Happy Happy Joy Joy, Happy Happy Joy Joy Schadenfreude!

I haven't experienced such fulfilling and self-gratifying Schadenfreude since 2006 when AirHead America fired the sagging ass of The Rapidly Decaying Corpse of Mike Malloy.

It's funny when Liberals self-destruct.

Ahhh, Schadenfreude...Sweet, chocolaty, nougaty, creamy, rich, delicious, delightful, mouthwatering, scrumptious, yummy, wonderful Schadenfreude!

Rejoice! Rejoice!

Ed Schultz's Softball Questions To John Murtha

Nice softball questions -
just as I predicted - lobbed to Madman John Murtha by Big Fat Dumb Liberal Radio Talker Ed Schultz on his Thursday program.

Here are the puffball questions - paraphrased, but accurate - Fat Eddy asked Phony Solider Madman Murtha. The short interview ran for approximately 8-10 minutes, beginning 30 minutes into the first hour of the program:

1- What about the surge, what is your take?

2- What does it mean when the President says there will be no drawdown?

3- Will it be more of the same if the next president will be John McCain.

4- What do you think of the oil revenue and what do you make of it?

5- What do you make of the Guardian story of a deal between Iraq and the U.S. to give us wide ranging power there?

6- Which do you prefer, Jolly Ranchers or Werther's?

Okay, number six is a joke, but the others are not.

Way to go Ed, just keep your pursed lips permanently attached to the puckered anuses of the Liberal America-hating politicians that you roll out the red carpet for as program guests. Keep on licking the fudge hole, Ed; by now you must have quite an acquired taste for it.

Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy (TIZA):
A Minnesota Muslim School

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh! Be very, very quiet. We wouldn't want Minnesota's ACLU Executive Director Chuck Samuelson to get wind of this story. You know how the ACLU is when it comes to religion being taught in taxpayer funded public schools. Shhhhhhhhhhh!

Don't anybody tell Chuck al-Samuelson about this, okay?

A substitute teacher at Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy, (TIZA) a K-8 charter school in Inver Grove Heights says the school is promoting and endorsing the Islamic religion. Minneapolis Red Star North Korean Tribune:

Evidence suggests, however, that TIZA is an Islamic school, funded by Minnesota taxpayers.

    [...]

TIZA has many characteristics that suggest a religious school. It shares the headquarters building of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, whose mission is "establishing Islam in Minnesota." The building also houses a mosque. TIZA's executive director, Asad Zaman, is a Muslim imam, or religious leader, and its sponsor is an organization called Islamic Relief.

Students pray daily, the cafeteria serves halal food - permissible under Islamic law -- and "Islamic Studies" is offered at the end of the school day.

Zaman maintains that TIZA is not a religious school. He declined, however, to allow me to visit the school to see for myself, "due to the hectic schedule for statewide testing." But after I e-mailed him that the Minnesota Department of Education had told me that testing would not begin for several weeks, Zaman did not respond -- even to urgent calls and e-mails seeking comment before my first column on TIZA.

Now, however, an eyewitness has stepped forward. Amanda Getz of Bloomington is a substitute teacher. She worked as a substitute in two fifth-grade classrooms at TIZA on Friday, March 14. Her experience suggests that school-sponsored religious activity plays an integral role at TIZA.

Arriving on a Friday, the Muslim holy day, she says she was told that the day's schedule included a "school assembly" in the gym after lunch.

Before the assembly, she says she was told, her duties would include taking her fifth-grade students to the bathroom, four at a time, to perform "their ritual washing."

Afterward, Getz said, "teachers led the kids into the gym, where a man dressed in white with a white cap, who had been at the school all day," was preparing to lead prayer. Beside him, another man "was prostrating himself in prayer on a carpet as the students entered."

"The prayer I saw was not voluntary," Getz said. "The kids were corralled by adults and required to go to the assembly where prayer occurred."

Islamic Studies was also incorporated into the school day. "When I arrived, I was told 'after school we have Islamic Studies,' and I might have to stay for hall duty," Getz said. "The teachers had written assignments on the blackboard for classes like math and social studies. Islamic Studies was the last one -- the board said the kids were studying the Qu'ran. The students were told to copy it into their planner, along with everything else. That gave me the impression that Islamic Studies was a subject like any other."

World Net Daily is covering the TIZA story.

Blogger News Net also has a fine analysis of TIZA.

Surely the Secular Left will be outraged that religion is being indoctrinated into students at a pubic and taxpayer funded school, right?

But don't let Chuck al-Samuelson find out about this...okay? You know how the ACLU gets when it comes to taxpayer funded public school, religion and prayer.

Liberals Mourn al-Masri Death

American Liberal and Progressive politicians and their supporters are mourning the death of one of their heroes and best friends, terrorist Abu Obaidah al-Masri.

It is believed that al-Masri died sometime over the past two months from hepatitis. BBC:

Abu Obaidah al-Masri, the militant chief believed to be a senior planner of al-Qaeda's attacks in Afghanistan, has died, US intelligence sources say.

They said they believed Masri, a major operational figure within al-Qaeda linked to attacks in the UK and elsewhere, died of "natural causes".

"The sense is that he is dead," a US official said.

A US official told the BBC that Masri had apparently died within the last two months, probably of hepatitis.

Responsible for many worldwide acts of terrorism, al-Masri was the architect of the London subway and bus bombings in July 2005 and of the thwarted plan in 2006 to blow up multiple jet airliners traveling from London to the United States.

The Libs are happy when someone like Charlton Heston dies. But they mourn the death of terrorists like al-Masri. Why? Because both al-Masri and Liberals hate America.

al-Masri, as you can tell, strictly keeping Halal and adhering
to 7th Century Islamic culture...um, except for the Bluetooth.

Grandstanding Democrats
And Toady Republicans

Democrat Senators Carl Levin, Joe "Armpit Hair" Biden, Hillary Clinton MrsSatan and Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle, along with Republican Toadies George Voinovich and upChuck Hagel, treated General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker as disrespectfully as could be during Tuesday's Iraq Senate Committee hearing. These Senators aren't fit to scrape chewing gum off Petraeus' boots and are clueless of the daily job demands that Crocker faces. I'd like to see any of these Senators attempt to deal with what Gen Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker have on their plates for just one hour.

What plan have Democrats offered for Iraq other than cut and run? None, nothing. This is no more than another classic and textbook example of when the going gets tough, the Democrats stick their tail between their legs and run away.

The only answer Democrats ever have to anything is raise taxes and spend more money. They don't, and won't, do the heavy lifting. They constantly leave messes that others have to clean up. They are reactive, never proactive. They criticize everything yet never offer any realistic plan for anything.

They Democrats hold one card, that of cutting the funding of the war. Do it, go ahead, play that card. Cut the funding. Undermine the Military and cut the funding. Why are they afraid to do this? Could it be doing would sabotage their plans for re-election and their chance to further win the House, Senate and the presidency? You mean to tell me the Dems can't reach a consensus within their party to get all the Dems to vote to cut the funding? Why is that?

Why don't the Dems offer any answers or solutions? Well, once again we seek exclusive, expert analysis and input from Baby Democrat:

Thanks, Baby Democrat. At least you're honest this time.

Ed Schultz Guest Will Be John Murtha

Liberal Radio Talker Ed Schultz is scheduled to have as a guest on his Thursday program Defeatocrat, and King of Pork, U.S. Congressman Mad John Murtha.

Ed pretends to talk tough, claiming to treat all politicians equally and claiming that he asks "the tough questions."

But Ed never does.

Here's three questions Ed will not ask, and won't even dare go near, in interviewing Madman John:

1) "Congressman Murtha, why did you escape into an elevator rather than go on-the-record for apologizing to the Haditha Marines who were found innocent of what you called a 'massacre and a cover up?'"

2) "Congressman Murtha, after being told by the newly elected Democrat Majority Congress in January 2007 - a congress that told the people they would bring an end to earmarks - how do you justify being the King of Pork according to such groups as Citizens Against Government Waste and Citizens for Responsible Ethics in Washington?

3) "Congressman Murtha, why have you steered so much money in government military contracts to your brother Robert 'Kit' Murtha and don't you feel doing this reeks of nepotism and the appearance of impropriety?"

Instead, Ed will lob softball questions and give Madman Murtha a platform to criticize and denigrate the Military, to say "the war is lost and costs too much," and any other Murtha-friendly questions.

Ed...asking the "tough questions"? Yeah, and pigs do aquatic ballet, I have a bridge to sell you and snowflakes are made of bacon.

Kilauea Volcano Releasing Sulfur, Gases

Okay Treehugger, this post is for you.

Hawaii has closed its Volcanoes National Park. Kilauea is releasing sulfur-laden gas. USA MacPaper:

Elevated sulfur dioxide levels from Kilauea volcano have forced the closure of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island for a second straight day.

Superintendent Cindy Orlando says air conditions in the park have become worse.

Park officials are hopeful they will be able to reopen Thursday with tradewinds expected to blow the sulfur-laden gas away.

Officials Tuesday evacuated 2,000 people from the park, including guests and staff of the Volcano House hotel.

Outside the park, the Volcano Charter School is also closed for the second day.

KGMB reports:

Stop what you're doing and get out. That was the order from Big Island officials Tuesday, who closed Volcanoes National Park due to high levels of vog(*).

Park officials tell KGMB9 the sulfur dioxide levels were more than three times higher than what's considered acceptable, and 1,000 employees were asked to leave. Hundreds of visitors were also evacuated, and arriving visitors were turned away at the park gates.

(*)Vog being volcanic smog.

On April 6, 2008, I received and published a comment from "Treehugger" on my July, 2007 post regarding Albert Gore, Jr.'s massive perpetuation of fraud over so-called global warming.

Treehugger, who claims to be such an educated individual on global warming wrote the following in his (her?) comment:

"...gas from volcanoes aren't happening now..."

Well, I guess Treehugger should try telling that to the people on the Hawaiian Island.

Treehugger also asked about me:

"Were you dropped on your head??"

No, I wasn't. But apparently you were, several times, smack on the soft spot.

I responded to this idiot's rambling, incoherent and pseudo-science comment in the comments section of that July 2007 post, but he/she has not responded. Maybe TreeAlarmist is too busy mixing him/herself up a brand new batch of Kool Aid.

Ex Minnesota Viking Carl Eller
Arrested For Alleged DWI

Former Minnesota Viking defensive end Carl Eller was arrested by police after a high-speed chase, fighting with police and the possibility...the slight possibility, mind you...of driving while under the influence. AP:

Former Minnesota Vikings great Carl Eller was jailed Wednesday after allegedly fighting with police after being stopped for possible drunken driving.

Eller was held on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, fleeing police and assaulting a police officer.

Police Inspector Mike Martin said officers in north Minneapolis saw a SUV speed through a stop sign and gave chase. The SUV reached speeds of up to 60 mph through city streets.

Martin said the SUV didn't stop until it pulled into Eller's garage about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Martin said the officers asked Eller to get out of the vehicle. He refused at first, but when he got out he threatened and fought with officers. They used a Taser, but Martin said it had no effect.

Eller was a member of the famed "Purple People Eaters" in his 15 years as a defensive end with Minnesota from 1964-78. He played in six Pro Bowls and all four of the Vikings' trips to the Super Bowl. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004.

Officers called for backup against the 66-year-old Eller.

When more officers arrived, they subdued Eller and took him to the Hennepin County Jail, Martin said. Eller refused to take a breath or blood test, Martin said.

    [...]

One of the officers involved in the arrested was treated for a black eye and bruises.

In 2006, Eller was charged in the suburb of Golden Valley with driving under the influence. He later pleaded guilty.

Eller has acknowledged his history as a substance abuser. He became a treatment counselor and has spoken publicly to groups about the problems of chemical dependency.

Why Doesn't Obama's Homophobia Matter?

Why doesn't Osama Hussein Obama's -- I mean, Ted Kennedy's Poodle's ties to homophobic preachers matter? Surely this would be an issue - we've seen it happen - when homophobia has been tied to Republican politicians.

It was less than a week ago that Gay Wired.com ran its story on Obama's close political relationship with Rev. James T. Meeks. According to the story...

[Meeks] is a "racially divisive public figure [and] stridently homophobic."

In the past, when similar relationships were between a Republican politician and a religious leader, gay groups such as GLAAD and others demanded and insisted that the Republican politician seek forgiveness for associating with such a homophobic and anti-gay individual.

The silence from the gay right's groups is deafening when it comes to Obama and Meeks, who according to the Gay Wired story, is one of the "10 leading black religious voices in the anti-gay movement."

No Republican could escape criticism for such a relationship, yet Obama somehow remains uncriticized and unscathed by the same gay right's groups that would vilify any Republican politician for socializing with such homophobic individuals.

Although the number of instances - or lack of them - is not a qualifying factor for any pro-gay right's group to withhold their judgement or criticism, it cannot be said that it is only the Meeks instance that ties Obama to an anti-gay slant.

As recently as October, 2007, Salon.com published an extensive piece about Obama campaigning in South Carolina "with gospel entertainer Donnie McClurkin, a self-proclaimed 'former homosexual' who believes it is his mission to turn gays straight." Salon is no mouthpiece for conservatism or republican political candidates.

Anyone paying half-hearted attention to political hypocrisy knows that any Conservative or Republican - politician or spiritual leader - who claims they are a former homosexual and that they can "turn gays straight" is mercilessly and endlessly ridiculed by the Left and from gay right's groups. Somehow, once again, this bloc is deafeningly silent when it comes to Obama-McClurkin.

From Salon:

...Obama has virtually done somersaults to justify McClurkin's inclusion [in his campaign].

    [...]

Obama's gay advocates obviously support him regardless of this fumble. But his gay critics are right to ask why he thinks getting homosexuals to sit at the same table with antigay and allegedly "ex-gay" Christians represents some kind of balance.

"Obama's gay advocates obviously support him regardless of this fumble." Why? These same gay advocate groups would never - NEVER - afford any Republican or Conservative politician the same courtesy. So why are they acting this way with Obama? Why are they holding Obama to a completely different standard than they would any Republican politician?

Obama is against gays and lesbians getting married. He's paired up on the campaign trail with close associates who are homophobic. The only conclusion I can draw from this is that this is a perfectly acceptable position to have as long as one is a Democrat.

If I'm missing something here, that the Liberals are treating and holding Obama's homophobic antics to a different standard that they would if he was a Republican, by all means enlighten me.

Obama refused an interview with the Philadelphia Gay News. Why won't he grant them an interview? What is he trying to hide?

Who murdered Donald Young, the gay choir master of Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ? What political and personal connections and relationship did he have with Obama?

And an Obama delegate, Linda Ramirez-Sliwinski - a (Hispanic) trustee in the Chicago suburb of Carpentersville - has resigned for calling some black children playing in a tree, "monkeys." AP:

An Illinois delegate for Democratic Sen. Barack Obama resigned after using the word "monkeys" to describe black children playing in a tree, the Obama campaign said Tuesday.

    [...]

The incident occurred Saturday, when two children were playing in a tree next door to Ramirez-Sliwinski's house.

She said the parents were outside supervising the children, but she went over and told them to get out of the tree because she was concerned about the boys' safety and because the small magnolia tree was being damaged.

The father of one of the boys told her it was none of her business, she told the Chicago Tribune, and "I calmly said the tree is not there for them to be climbing in there like monkeys."

    [...]

One of the boys told police he was scared by her comment and a mother said she was disturbed [by her comments].

Hey, Liberals...got macaca? Remember your outrage over George Allen using that word...come one Liberals, get your selective memories in gear and recall macaca. Perform you very best double-standards and hypocritical actions. Why, your candidate is the Magic Negro. He can do no wrong, can he? He gets a Free Pass on everything, right? He gets the benefit of the doubt on everything!

Pawlenty Vetoes Central Corridor Funding

Because I am more than fair - I am, despite what the Insane Liberal Clown Posse "believes" - I give credit where credit it due. Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty (technically a Republican, even though I have written in the past, railing against him and calling him a RINO), line item vetoed $70 Million dollars that was earmarked for the prohibitively expensive Light Rail Trolley Choo-Choo Train.

Now, here's an interesting way to headline this story. Check out Finance and Commerce, reporting on this story with the headline: "Pawlenty to St. Paul: Drop dead."

Well, isn't that special! So much for independent, non-partisan journalism. St. Paul is in the midst of committing suicide at the hands of its own Mayor Kommissar Chris Coleman and city council stocked with members like Master Asshat Dave "Toothy Grin" Thune. St. Paul needs no help - and hasn't received any from Pawlenty - in dropping dead. The mayor and city asshats are doing a bang -up job of that and have been for years. Why do we need light rail between the lively downtown scene of Minneapolis and the soon-to-be Ghost town of St. Paul?

Picture this - you're out on the town with your friends, family or significant other in downtown Minneapolis where nightlife is fun, lively and you have a choice of activities, nightclubs, restaurants, cultural choices and entertainment venues all of which you can pretty much reach on foot or for a nominal taxi fee. Suddenly, someone you're with or in your party says, "I know, let's take light rail to downtown St. Paul." You'd look at the person(s) with you who said that and wonder what the fuck is wrong with them. Who wants to leave a party for a ghost town and tumbleweeds? The only time St. Paul has even moderately exciting nightlife now is after a Minnesota Wild Hockey Game. St. Paul is dead after 5PM and the responsible parties are Kommissar Coleman and the City Asshats.

Good job, Gov.; let's hope you don't flip-flop on this in the near future. As usual, the Democrat Tax and Spenders reacted to the veto with their usual, suspected child-like behavior.

The gathering of Whine-O-Crats included St. Paul Shit-For-Brains Kommissar Democrat Chris Coleman, State Senator Democrat Little Stevie Murphy, U.S. Congresswombat Democrat Betty McGollum and U.S. Congressman Democrat Keith al-Ellison all of whom soiled their panties at a news conference today because Pawlenty line item vetoed $70 million state dollars from a bonding bill - among other things - that was intended to partially fund the light rail choo-choo train between St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Another stable hysterical Democrat was State Senator Ellen Anderson who reacted to the line item veto, saying... Post Bulletin:

"I want to know why the governor hates the people of St. Paul."

Ellen, wtf is your problem? Why do you hate the people of Minnesota by constantly voting to approve onerous tax increases? Who has driven businesses out of St. Paul and into more tax-friendly suburbs, the St. Paul Mayor and City Asshats, or Gov. Pawlenty? Who devised the no-smoking ban in the city of St. Paul, resulting in the closings of bars and restaurants, well before the statewide no-smoking ban took effect? Who has called two major increases in St. Paul homeowner property taxes as being, "courageous." (Answer: that would be Asshat "Toothy Grin" Thune). St. Paul city leaders asshats have controlled the city and are responsible for the aftermath all on their own, without any help from Pawlenty. And believe me, take it from someone who in the past has delighted in ripping Pawlenty to shreds on numerous issues, he is blameless on his line item vetoes.
Ellen, you are a total dumbass.

Don't you feel sorry for the little Communists who normally wet and soil themselves with glee over tax increases and spending money on pet projects that will never pay for itself, that provides a service for a tiny amount of people and that will forever require massive amounts of endless taxpayer subsidies? They're angry; throwing child-like hissy fits and having temper tantrums because...get this...Pawlenty indicated he would support the funding but then changed his mind and vetoed it.

Minnesota's Light Rail Choo Choo has cost to date something like - I've lost count - a billion or a trillion or a bazillion dollars. The plan, what is called the Central Corridor between downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, requires removing and reducing various bus lines and bus stops and replacing those areas with the Choo-Choo.

The Central Corridor Choo Choo wouldn't make as many stops as current buses do in their routes and the Choo Choo would make it more difficult for people to reach their destination because it runs on a set grid, unlike a bus which can travel on any street, road or highway. This is analogous to replacing automobiles with the horse and buggy. WTF are these Democrats thinking? Oh, wait - my bad - Democrats Thinking? Sorry, I forgot who I was talking about for a moment.

I don't have a problem with mass transit as long as it's the right mass transit. What has been spent on the current Choo-Choo (which runs from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to the Mall of America and downtown Minneapolis) should have instead been spent on buying more buses, increasing bus-only lanes and adding more bus routes. But no, for reasons that escape me, the Little Band of Merry Socialists in the Twin Cities are hell-bent over Light Rail and its absurdly prohibitive costs.

Other cuts in the bonding bill included the following. Post Bulletin:

    * Mankato lost out on $975,000 to begin design of a performing arts center and women's hockey arena.

    * $46.7 million for property acquisitions and classroom renovations on Minnesota State Colleges and Universities campuses.

    * $16 million for a loan to the Red Lake school district for a new school.

    * $6 million toward sports centers in Moorhead and Rochester.

    * $5.5 million to study or plan for passenger rail routes connecting the Twin Cities to Duluth and another to Chicago.

    * $5 million for a St. Paul Asian Pacific Cultural Center.

    * $3 million toward planning for a Minnesota Orchestra Hall renovation.

    * $400,000 for a music lending library in Chatfield.

Talk about pork spending! None of the above are essential items, not for anyone. $5.5 million to study a fucking light rail plan? Who - which group - what "think tank" - is going to be paid $5.5 Mill to study a plan? I'd like to know. I'll study that plan for one-third of the price. A women's hockey arena? Let the numerous women who want to play hockey pay for it themselves. Ditto any performing arts center. Ditto education, universities and music libraries. A St. Paul Asian Pacific Cultural Center - wtf is that? Orchestra Hall...fuck that! No wonder there's no money for infrastructure and essential items when money is allocated and spent on such frivolous expenditures.

The nixed items only serves to reinforce what I and others have written and said time and time again: It's not that government doesn't have enough money, it has far - far, far, far, far - too much money. They cannot piss it away fast enough. And then the Dems have the audacity to bitch and complain and run for office on a platform - a false platform - that "we" aren't spending enough on infrastructure, witness the collapse of the I-35W bridge last summer. How much more hypocritical can these Liberals get?

So, Gov. Pawlenty changed his mind, and he vetoed items in the bonding bill. Good for him, I wasn't sure he had the chutzpah.

Democrats never reverse themselves on what they say. Certainly, they'd never ever lie directly to someone's face about something and then do the exact opposite of what they say they would do. No, never. They'd never do that. It's never happened, not ever, in the history of politics.

This situation of Minnesota's favorite group of Wee Little Stalinists calls for commentary from the mrssatan.blogspot.com exclusive expert analyst, The One And Only Baby Democrat:

Let the Central Corridor die. It is a supreme waste of money, time and resources. It is a hardship imposed on people already using the bus routes on a daily basis. Let it die forever.

One Hit News

In a past One Hit News edition I noted the story about Norway's "Pocket Man Pedophile." He is now facing more charges. Aftenposten:

A 56-year-old Norwegian suspected of being the pedofile "Pocket Man" was ordered held in police custody for another four weeks on Monday. He's also been charged with 15 new assaults.

Police believe the man has attacked hundreds of young boys over the past 30 years. He was initially charged formally with 11 attacks, but that's been raised to 26 as more alleged victims have come forward.

    [...]

The 56-year-old, who isn't being publicly identified, was arrested at his home near Bergen in January. He's a married, affluent business owner with grown children of his own who traveled frequently and thus is suspected of sexual assaults all over southern Norway.

Italian man deals with depression by shooting things up. Life In Italy:

Like a famous scene in a Rambo movie, an Italian man said he vented his anger and frustration by shooting up shops and petrol stations around his home town. Armed with a series of rifles, the 43-year-old truckdriver recently strafed a number of garages as well as a car showroom, a photographer's studio, an insurance office, a toy shop and the local headquarters of a Communist party.

    [...]

Asked why he was using his firearms for such apparently random vandalism, the man reportedly claimed: ''I suffer from depression. It's the only way I can relieve it''.

Pope Benedict to "snub" victims of sex abuse by priests. The Independent:

THE Pope's visit to America next week has been plunged into controversy after the Church decided that he will not address the victims of sex abuse by priests.

Groups representing thousands of victims of sexual abuse by American clergy yesterday threatened to greet the Pope with protests on his first visit to the country.

They will publish full-page newspaper ads to condemn his five-day visit because it does not include a stop in Boston, the epicentre of a scandal that has shattered the church in America.

Bloggers concerned over Cyber law that could leave them open to defamation lawsuits. The Jakarta Post:

In a meeting organized by the British Council on Friday, bloggers expressed concerns the new law on electronic information and transaction could make them susceptible to charges of defamation.

Blogger Enda Nasution said bloggers were being more careful now as the law opened up possibilities of prosecution for providing "sensitive" content about public figures and certain issues on their sites.

"Bloggers can get in trouble by just linking to a website containing defamation. In an indirect way, the law bans freedom of expression," Enda said.

The lynx is making a return in Italy. BBC:

A lynx has appeared in the Italian Alps for the first time in 100 years.

The authorities in Italy's South Tyrol region say the lynx, which crossed the mountains from Switzerland, does not pose a threat to livestock in the area.

    [...]

Lynx were wiped out by hunters and farmers in the region in the early 20th Century. They were reintroduced in Switzerland in the 1970s.

And finally friends...global warming proponents have plucked the last string and have pulled out all the stops in reaching new depths in their alarmist cries and perpetuation of panic. Climate Scientist says global warming may wipe beer from the face of the earth. The New Zealand Herald:

A climate scientist is warning that climate change could affect beer production within 25 years.

National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (Niwa) climate scientist Dr Jim Salinger said climate change could see a decline of malting barley production in parts of Canterbury and across the Tasman.

"It will mean either there will be pubs without beer or the cost of beer will go up," Dr Salinger said.

He's a lying sack of crap.

Bingo Halls Closing Due To Smoking Nazis

I see Clearway Minnesota - one of the many organizations that receives its funding from...the tobacco company lawsuits (isn't that ironic?) - stopped by to visit me the other day:

As predicted, more and more people are losing their jobs because of Minnesota's draconian No-Smoking ban. Bingo halls have lost their customer base and charitable gambling receipts are down, way down, due to the Anti-Smoking Nazis.

Now...who could have predicted or imagined that businesses would close and people would be losing their jobs because the No Smoking Nazis pushed through their zealotry? Whew, that's a tough one!

The Sunday St. Paul Pioneer Press - aka Twincities.com reports that Bingo's Number Is Up:

The latest causality [of the statewide smoking ban] is the Cottage Grove bingo hall, which will close for good.

    [...]

"Our players are smokers, and there is a large percentage of them that we have not seen since the ban," [said Mary Perren, gambling and bingo hall manager for the Cottage Grove Athletic Association].

Across the metro area, bingo hall managers say they are seeing a drop in revenue or have closed because of the smoking ban.

The story lists some of the bingo halls that have been forced to close, for no other reason, than the smoking ban:

* Bingo Plus in the city of Inver Grove Heights closed;

* South Town Bingo of Bloomington closed less than six months after the no-smoking law went into effect;

* Hillcrest Bingo in St. Paul closed;

* Midway Bingo in St. Paul closed;

The City of Roseville Bingo Hall, which fund-raises for youth hockey, has seen its attendance drop by 32 percent since the no-smoking ban.

Pull tabs and other charitable gambling organizations say their customer base and fundraising receipts have declined significantly, all directly due to the No-Smoking ban.

All of this, as the story says, spells trouble for communities and organizations that rely on charitable gambling. But then, the Militant No-Smoking Nazis don't care about charitable gambling or anything else. The only thing they care about is their little crusade of meddling and interfering in peoples' lives and a legal product.

In past columns, I've made the point that the Militant No-Smoking Nazis claimed if only they didn't have to breathe second-hand smoke they would go out on the town and patronize bars, taverns and restaurants. It's obvious that the No-Smoking Nazis lied because they are not bellying up to the bar.

It is also unmistakeably obvious that the No-Smoking Nazis aren't going out playing bingo for charitable causes either. This is because the No-Smoking Nazis are the cheapest, most miserly little gang of goose-stepping Fascists the world has ever seen. By comparison, they make Hitlerian oppression seem lightweight and facile. They make Mao, Stalin and Pol Pot seem like benevolent, affable and misguidedly good-natured.

Clearway Minnesota is one of the Militant No-Smoking Nazi organizations. They've been running this trite little advertisement in local newspapers claiming that the health of service industry workers is better because they no longer have to work in smoke-filled environments.

Actually, I suspect the reason that these service workers may be experiencing better health is because they are unemployed. See, they no longer have a job; their former employer - VFWs, bars, night clubs, taverns, restaurants and now Bingo halls - forced to close their doors due to a lack of customers all directly due to the tyrannical actions and tactics of the Militant No-Smoking Nazis.

Now we can add charitable gambling and bingo halls to the long list of vacant buildings that were once occupied by businesses that provided jobs to people and that paid taxes.

There has to be at least one state legislator who realizes that the no-smoking ban is crippling the economy and adversely affecting so many charitable causes. There has to be at least on state legislator who realizes that local and state government revenue has decreased because the no-smoking ban has closed what previously were profitable and tax-paying businesses. There has to be at least one state legislator who is willing to put forth a bill that will rescind and expunge the onerous no-smoking ban. There has to be one state legislator with balls to take on the No Smoking Nazis.

Where is this state legislator? I will campaign for him or her and support such a bill and so will many others, way more people than those that comprise the tiny sect cult of Militant No-Smoking Nazis.

Oh, Those Pesky Pot Smokers!

Two investigators from the Washington County Minnesota Narcotics Task Force set up surveillance of the suspect. They watched and watched, having been tipped off from a source. The investigators observed the suspect and another man as they entered a car. The two men leaned toward the center of the car, where the console is. When one of the men exited the car, he was seen putting something into his front pants pocket. (OMG! GASP! He was putting "something" in his pocket! He must have been doing something illegal, rather than readjusting his "stuff"!) It was then the Narcs moved into action.

Wow, you're probably thinking this was a big time drug dealing operation with a big time dealer; someone that the Narc Unit had been watching for quite a while. A big bust, right? Of a Drug Lord, someone high up in The Organization. Not so much...

This is what the Narcs recovered: one digital scale, plastic baggies with marijuana residue, a marijuana grinder, a glass pipe with marijuana residue and...

...wait for it...

...wait for it...

...wait for it...

...approximately six grams of what appeared to be marijuana buds.

SIX GRAMS? Why, it takes an entire freight train to transport six grams of pot! Actually, six grams of pot would fit easily into a plastic 35 millimeter film container with room to spare.

The rest of the story - Holiday store clerk accused of selling pot (Twincities.com and do a search on the title if the link brings you to a "sign up for free before we let you read this story") - is reporting that the person arrested and charged with selling marijuana is 20-year old David Held, Jr. His primary error - as far as I can tell - was in selling pot while on the clock for his employer, a Holiday Superstation (a gas and convenience store) in Bayport, Minnesota. Don't deal while on the clock of your employer is the message. Do it before you punch in or after your shift is over.

The monetary transaction between Held and the buyer, according to the story, was $25. $25! The question, of course is, is this all the Washington County Narcotics Task Force has to do? What a complete waste of time, money and resources. Busting a $25 pot transaction? Why, you Narcs must feel like Serpico or Popeye Doyle today!

Meanwhile, in other pot-related news, Soua Vang, 27, is accused of growing almost 1,000 pot plants in a White Bear Lake, MN home.

From the Friday, April 4 St. Paul Pioneer Press aka Twincities.com reports:

In January, someone reported that Vang's home might be on fire. There was no snow on the roof, visible condensation on the exterior and the house was hot to the touch.

Ah, another pot bust because of a meddling neighbor - in my opinion with nothing better to do than peek out from behind the curtains and be the neighborhood Narc - reported that a home near them seems...basically unremarkable. "Marge, is that house on fire? I can't tell without my glasses. Well, we'd better call someone and report it just in case."

There was no fire in Vang's house. The house had no snow on the roof, condensation on its sides - and reportedly the house was hot to the touch - because of indoor grow lamps.

For growing pot, Vang faces up to a $2 million dollar fine and 40 years in prison. 40 years! You can kill somebody and do less time than 40 years. Repeat child molesters do less time!

I'm not fully informed about Held or Vang, if they have any history of violent behavior. But no non-violent drug offender, dealer, grower, buyer or user should be spending any time in jail or prison. Not a day. I don't care if they have a growing operation in a structure the size of Wembley Stadium. If there is no history of violence or violent behavior, there is no reason to incarcerate them. The Alarmist Crowd cries that prisons and jails are overcrowded. Well...then why are non-violent offenders occupying space that should be reserved solely for violent criminals?

The justice system is whacked. Just whacked.

Charlton Heston, Rest In Peace

Hollywood legend Charlton Heston has died at the age of 84. BBC:

Charlton Heston, who won a best actor Oscar for his starring role in the epic Ben-Hur, has died aged 84, a spokesman for his family has said.

Heston died on Saturday at his home in Beverly Hills. His wife Lydia, whom he married in 1944, was at his side.

Heston also portrayed Michelangelo, El Cid and other heroic figures in Hollywood films of the 1950s and 1960s.

He stepped down as president of US gun lobby, the National Rifle Association, in 2003, citing ill-health.

The previous year, he had revealed he had symptoms consistent with Alzheimer's disease.

    [...]

He studied acting before serving for three years in the US Air Force. But back in civilian life, Heston went through hard times, while waiting for his first break.

In 1952, after working on Broadway, Heston starred as the ringmaster in the movie The Greatest Show on Earth.

Four years later, he appeared as Moses in The Ten Commandments, one of the roles which would define his career.

After the success of the science fiction film Planet of the Apes in the late 1960s, Heston turned his attention to working in the theatre.

    [...]

Although later identified with traditionally conservative causes, Charlton Heston had been a vocal supporter of Martin Luther King and the 1960s Civil Rights movement.

A nice series of photos here at the BBC of Heston showing him marching for civil rights, career highlights and movie "stills."

Full filmography here.

Heston's voice...man...what a voice. One which I would include in any Top Ten List of great voices of all time.

Some of my fave movies of his includes, "Touch Of Evil," "The Three Musketeers" and "The Four Musketeers," "The Agony and the Ecstasy" and yes...I love the movie "Soylent Green."

My all-time fave, hands-down, the original, "Planet Of The Apes." What's yours?

Obama Is All Pro Gun Control

Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle is all for gun control. He wants to take guns away from law-abiding citizens. Others who have done this in history have been labeled Fascists. One person who did this was named Adolf. His last name started with an "H"...it's on the tip of my tongue but I can't think of it...maybe it will come to me.

Obama is against law-abiding citizens without any criminal record or history being able to defend themselves. Townhall:

Barack Obama is embracing anti-gun policies in the run-up to a Democratic presidential debate scheduled on the one-year anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings.

“I am not in favor of concealed weapons,” Obama told the Pittsburgh Tribune. "I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations." [Yes, it would have been just terrible had a law-abiding citizen been carrying a concealed weapon to defend and protect him or herself - let alone others - at V-Tech, wouldn't it? - Drake]

These remarks break from Obama’s previous moderate rhetoric on gun control.

While campaigning in Idaho in February, Obama promised, “I have no intention of taking away folks’ guns.”

Why - is The Poodle flip-flopping on his words? It sure seems so.

Again from the above Townhall story:

[Obama said], "a lot of law-abiding citizens use it for hunting, for sportsmanship, and for protecting their families."

I'm really sick and tired of Democrats using hunting and sportsmanship as their faux argument in pretending and posturing to be pro-Second Amendment. Hunting and sportsmanship have nothing to do with the Second Amendment.

From Politico:

...Obama is engaging in a quiet, but targeted drive to win over an important constituency that on the surface might seem hostile to his views.

The need to craft a strategy aimed at pro-gun voters underscores the potency of the issue in Pennsylvania, which claims one of the nation’s highest per capita membership rates in the National Rifle Association.

    [...]

“Guns are a cultural lens through which they view candidates,” said Jim Kessler, vice president for policy at Third Way, a progressive think tank. “If you are seen as way off on that issue, then you seem way off on everything. If you are seen as OK, if the lens is clearer, then they continue to look at you and size you up on other things.”

“For Obama, who is less known and is from Chicago, a city guy and an African American, the feeling is that he is anti-gun,” Kessler continued. “By handling the Second Amendment correctly, he starts to get a hearing among these folks.”

    [...]

Obama has long backed gun-control measures, including a ban on semiautomatic weapons and concealed weapons, and a limit on handgun purchases to one a month.

    [...]

A two-page white paper on Obama’s website doesn’t mention his voting record. [Gee, I wonder why? Could it be because his voting record is solidly pro gun-control? - Drake]

    [...]

“He will protect the rights of hunters and other law-abiding Americans to purchase, own, transport, and use guns for the purposes of hunting and target shooting,” the paper states. “He also believes that the right is subject to reasonable and common sense regulation.”

There is no such thing as a Liberal or Progressive believing in "reasonable and common sense regulation" of guns. The only thing they believe in is the confiscation of guns from law-abiding citizens.

It's okay to be a criminal and carry a gun. But don't even think about being a law-abiding citizen carrying a legally concealed gun to defend and protect yourself. You're a criminal if you do; at least in the eyes of Liberals like Obama.

He is faking out anyone who believes in the Second Amendment with his rhetoric. Don't fall for this act, Pennsylvania voters - he's pulling the wool over your eyes big time. BIG TIME!

Dems Hyperinflate 5.1 Unemployment Rate

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that the DemoWieners exaggerate and hyperinflate any issue they think will help them politically. Bereft of truth, facts and figures, Dems only care about what they "believe" and try to convince others to "believe" in the same.

The unemployment rate hit 5.1 % in March. L.A Times:

The unemployment rate hit 5.1% in March, up from 4.8% in February and the highest level since the wholesale job losses that followed Hurricane Katrina in September 2005.

WHAT! FIVE-POINT-ONE PERCENT, the DemocRATS squeal, cry and whine! Why, that's OUTRAGEOUS! The U/E rate is causing the Dems to pee and poop their undies.

Well, in 1996 when Bill Clinton was running for re-election, the U/E rate was 5.1%, a percent that Clinton campaigned on proudly calling it an accomplishment. Here's a snippet from the Center of American Progress from September 13, 2004:

The 5.4 percent rate is down from a high of 6.3 percent a year ago and stands near the 5.1 percent rate that President Bill Clinton faced when running for reelection in 1996.

You can say a lot of things about the Center For American Progress, but you certainly can't call it a Right of Center or Right Wing think tank. It is run by former Clinton toady and former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta.

And someone will have to tell me the facts, but I think the CFAP is funded by Liberal Sugar Daddy György Schwartz, better known as billionaire George Soros. WAIT! STOP! Don't correct me with facts - I want to be just like the Liberals and "believe" that the CFAP is funded by Schwartz, so even if it isn't, facts won't change my mind. I "believe" it is, therefore it is true. Gee, it's kind of fun thinking like a Liberal sometimes.

Here's seven year's worth of U/E rates, all indicative of the month of March, from The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, which takes the below figures directly from the U.S. Department of Labor: Bureau of Labor Statistics:

    March 1993 UE rate: 7.0
    March 1994 UE rate: 6.5
    March 1995 UE rate: 5.4
    March 1996 UE rate: 5.5
    March 1997 UE rate: 5.2
    March 1998 UE rate: 4.7
    March 1999 UE rate: 4.2

Hmmmm, 1993-1999...boy, some of those figures sure are high, aren't they? Indicative of a recession and even a depression. Was George W. Bush the president then? I'm pretty sure he wasn't.

Part of the economic downturn is without a doubt the housing market bubble bursting. Is there anyone who expected that it would never burst? Is it at all similar in economic terms to the burst in the dot-com bubble that was ridden high and hard and then...the bottom fell out of it during...during...during...

...wait for it...

...during the Clinton Administration.

Two years ago and one year ago The Left was hyperventilating on the issue of the War in Iraq. Then the Dem presidential candidates glommed onto healthcare last year as The Issue Du Jour. Tomorrow the Issue Du Jour for the Dems might be the cost of dog food, the cost of Kotex, the cost of finger paint, the cost of penny candy or the cost of any other good or service that they can exploit hoping it will further the cause of Liberalism. Furthering Liberalism - using lies and deceit - is the only thing that matters to the Democrats. Perpetuating their sick, twisted, diseased and freakish political policies is the reason for which these people live.

Democrats bounce around, seeking whatever issue at any given moment will benefit them. They hop from one issue to another - like someone with Attention Deficit Disorder hopped up on the finest Colombian Booger Sugar - desperately searching for any issue that will give them a political advantage. They have the attention span of a gnat that's OD'ed on Ritalin.

According to the Panic And Alarmist Democrats, a U/E rate of 5.1 % today is absolutely outrageous and prohibitive, but under a Democrat president it was touted as the greatest thing since disposable douche bags.

Provided the U.S. does not experience another terrorist attack like that of September 11, (and the Democrats are doing their best to be so Terrorist-friendly in this respect), the economy will recover, the housing situation will correct itself and the unemployment rate will balance out. Most of this can happen without severe interference from the government, especially needless meddling by Democrats who are currently in office. All anyone need do is ask themselves this: when is the last time Democrats fixed something, leaving it working it better than it did before?

Can Obama Get The Blue Collar Vote?
(Answer: No!)

He's just a regular Middle Class guy?

ABC's Nightline posed the question on their Wednesday program whether or not Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle can appeal to the Blue Collar voting bloc.

The Nightline crew followed him around his campaign stops in Pennsylvania. He was shown at a deli saying that he likes goat cheese and sampling some. Unless I'm mistaken, I think every Blue Collar worker's first choice of cheese is goat cheese, isn't it?

Nightline also pointed out that Obama is fond of Prosciutto, which Nightline pointed out retails for $100 per pound. Prosciutto is another top favorite of all Blue Collar workers, isn't it? I think it is.

Obama declined appearances at any places where he would have been filmed ordering or eating a Philly cheesesteak, thus avoiding the John Kerry faux pas of 2004 when ordering his Philly cheesesteak with...Swiss.

Nightline also covered Obama saying he likes arugula. Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but arugula is another daily staple in the lunch box of every Blue Collar worker along with Brie and caviar.

Finally, Obama was shown bowling. His score was a measly 37. 37!

Obama is an Elitist. Nightline proved it. He cannot and will not appeal to Blue Collar voters and he will not get their vote.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain, on the other hand, seems like a guy who would be right at home at a back yard BBQ with burgers on the grill and a keg. Hell, McCain likely knows how to tap a keg. Obama...I'm not so sure.

Randi Rhodes Suspension Radio Round Up

Left: Randi Rhodes. Right: Nelson Muntz represents Schadenfreude

Awwwwwwwwwww, all the Little Liberal Talkers and their sycophants are defending Ratty Rhodes.

Allow me to recap what these Little Lefty Haters are saying.

"Joe" Elliot

San Diego's Liberal Talker Jon Elliot Bats For Rhodes

On his Thursday night program, Liberal Talker Jon Elliot was all the uber-apologist for Randi Rhodes.

Elliot said Rhodes is a "shy" person (uh-huh, yeah...) and that she was "over-served" liquor before she went on stage to deliver her profanity laced tirade. Considered her drunken face-plant last October, could it be that she has an alcohol abuse problem?

The Rhodes' apologists are defending her on the issue of Free Speech. This all well and good, but the event that included her tirade was sponsored by her employer. Technically, one could say she was on the corporate clock, thus AirHead America has every right to suspend or fire her from her job.

Elliot was snippy that the FOX News report got his first name wrong, calling him "Joe" Elliot.

Come on, Jon, give FOX News a break. You know what's it like to make an error when news is breaking.

Jon, you recall your reporting on Randi Rhodes' incident last October, when you said that what happened to her did not "appear to be a standard grab the money and run mugging."

You continued with, "Is this an attempt by the right wing hate machine to silence on of our own? Are we threatening them? Are they afraid that we're winning? Are they trying to silence intimidate us?"

You fed the conspiracy machine with wild speculation, Jon. When the truth finally came out as to what actually happened to Ratty, we learned that she was shit-faced drunk off her ass and fell flat onto the pavement in a alcoholic stupor.

Until and when your reporting is flawless, perfect and error-free Jon, cut FOX - and any other media - a little slack.

Skanky Miller

Stephanie Miller Calls Rhodes' Suspension A "Chilling Free Speech Issue"

Skanky Miller on Friday repeatedly referred to the Rhodes' suspension as a, "chilling Free Speech issue."

Free Speech is a fine kneejerk defense mechanism, but again, Rhodes was on the company clock. Sorry, using the Free Speech defense doesn't wash here.

I wonder if DemocRAT Senator Harry Reid and other Dems will band together, writing and signing another "Phony Solider"-like letter feigning outrage and demanding a public apology from Rhodes for calling both Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro "f*cking whores."

It's funny when Liberals censor other Liberals! And all this time it's been the Liberals saying it would be Conservatives that would impede the Free Speech of Liberals.

(L to R): Ed Schultz, Al Franken, The Rapidly Decaying Corpse of Mike Malloy

Mike Malloy Unleashes His Usual Contemptuous Ramblings

It was classic - classic! - vitriol from The Rapidly Decaying and Rotting Corpse Mike Malloy on his show last night with him defending Rhodes. How come The Corpse sounded so nasally plugged up and was sniffing so much? Was he coming off a week long binge of Booger Sugar? Hey, I'm just askin'.

The Rapidly Decaying Corpse blamed Right Wingers for Randi Rhodes' "indefinite suspension." See, here's how it works in the mind of the Relic Corpse: The investors of Air America were all rich - super, duper rich - Liberals who refuse to invest their own money in Liberal Radio. So some Clear Channel (i.e. Conservatives with money) investors come along and invest their cash into AAR. So it was the Conservative investors who made the decision to suspend Rhodes from her AAR gig.

Here comes the part The Relic couldn't explain. How did the Conservative investors make Randi say what she said in San Francisco? It must have been some high-tech Manchurian Candidate nefarious scheme, some ultra-secret plot that must have involved a microchip implant that made Rhodes say what she said. Why, this is no less than mind-control procedure perfected by...well, it has to be Karl Rove and Dick Cheney, right? Wow, you have to hand it to those Conservative investors, huh? Huh? Huh? Everything is the fault of Right Wingers in the mind of Malloy the Truth Denier.

Malloy said, "Rich Liberals turned their backs on Air America Radio." And that somehow surprised you Mikey? You didn't know that Rich Liberals got rich by being cheap? Heh - you're not at all as smart as you think you are, are you? Liberals aren't just cheap, they are the most miserly Scrooge-like people on earth.

When The Relic discussed Geraldine Ferraro's call for Rhodes to be fired, Malloy called Ferraro, "A goddamn freak." This occurred 51 minutes into the first hour of his program.

A bit earlier, 35 minutes into the first hour, Malloy said, "Randi is a Veteran." Not by any stretch of the imagination. She spent two short years in state-side service and spent the remaining two years of her four year stint doing something like baking pies in a military canteen. She's never explained why or how she wiggled out of her stint only after two years.

Ratty Rhodes

Other gems from The Corpse included his visceral hatred of ex-Liberal Talker and Minnesota U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken.

Malloy said that Franken said about him: "Malloy gives Liberalism a bad name." And that Franken wouldn't allow Malloy promos on his program. And that Franken said, "Malloy has the wrong positions on Israel and the War in Iraq."

Seven minutes into the second hour of his program, Malloy said, "Al Franken is a geek and a jerk ass." He said that he hopes Franken loses his bid for U.S. Senate.

AAR in New York replaced the Thom Hartmann Show with Ed Schultz. For this, Malloy said AAR, "put this hayseed Ed Schultz on [the air] instead." Bwa! Hey, Ed - Malloy called you a "hayseed."

Malloy is still bitter that he was fired by AAR and that they owe him $112,000 that he's likely never to see or if he does, because of the AAR bankruptcy filing, he will receive only pennies on the dollar.

Schultz, to the surprise of no one, mentioned nothing at all about Rhodes during his entire three hour program on Friday. This is because Fat Eddy and Ratty are enemies. Whoa, big surprise there - not.

The real hilarity is that Rhodes can't claim that she was unaware of her being recorded. In a recent AAR station promo for her program, she said - and I paraphrase - that everyone is being recorded these days. They show up on the internet, they show up on You Tube, everyone is being taped and recorded.

Bwa Ha Ha Ha Moment of Excellence: Ratty Rhodes, according to Jeff Norman, writing at the HuffPuffPoo:

Rhodes is stunned and angry. About her employers she told me: "They are in breach of my contract and have damaged my hard won excellent reputation in the broadcast industry..."

Why, I hear a Liberal crying and whining! (Ahem), when aren't they?

Oh gawd! (Pounding my fist on desk, laughing so hard root beer is fizzing out of my nose!)..."damaged my hard won excellent reputation in the broadcast industry." Why, who knew she could be so funny!

None of us have to wonder or question - not even for a nanosecond - how the Left would be reacting if what Rhodes' said were spoken by any Conservative Talker.

This Rhodes situation - and the infighting of Malloy against Ed Schultz and Al Franken - will be recorded as one of the finest, most glorious, endorphin-producing Schadenfreude moments of the year.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Assassinated

It was 40 years ago today that Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated.

Today is a sad day in history. It marks the assassination of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. forty years ago. His words and message live on as they should. We all should take a few moments to mourn his horrific and untimely death and remember him. But more importantly, we all need to celebrate his life, his message and for what he stood.

In a speech delivered by the Lorraine Hotel in Memphis - the site of where King was killed - Republican Senator and presidential candidate John McCain apologized for his past record of voting against making Martin Luther King Day a Federal Holiday. While there are some reports floating around out there that said McCain was booed during his speech, in any audio and video footage of McCain's speech today you can also hear people in the crowd shouting "we forgive you." It was brave and courageous for McCain to say what he said today.

Finally, for the Lefties who think they are so holier-than-thou when it comes to Civil Rights, let me remind everyone of a very important past of Liberal Politics:

It is worth noting and mentioning - because if the situation were reversed the Left would never let anyone forget it - that it was a Democrat White House Administration and Democrat Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy that ordered the illegal telephone wiretapping, spying and surveillance of Rev. King in October, 1963.

This is a pox on the Democrats that they never talk about and would like for everyone to forget. Unfortunately for them, I will never let this fact be dismissed, ignored or go unnoticed.

Obama Endorsed By Two More America Haters

Osama Hussen Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle received the coveted endorsements of two fine, upstanding America Haters and Bashers.

Hanoi Jane Fonda endorsed Obama. L.A. Times:

Jane Fonda, the actress and ardent anti-Vietnam War advocate who visited North Vietnam during those hostilities, has endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president.

Thank you, Hanoi Jane. Your endorsement of The Poodle will only cause Veterans of Foreign Wars and their families who lean Left of Center to rethink their supporting Obama.

Worst.President.Ever Jimmy Carter Cracker hinted he may support The Poodle. AP:

"My children and their spouses are pro-Obama. My grandchildren are also pro-Obama," he said at a news conference, according to the Nigerian newspaper This Day. "As a superdelegate, I would not disclose who I am rooting for, but I leave you to make that guess."

A Nigerian newspaper? Nothing against Nigeria at all, but can this Commie Former Peanut Farmer ever talk directly to the American Press? What a POS.

It can only be a matter of time until Obama receives the coveted, important and sought-after Mike Dukakis endorsement.

Obama The Poodle also said there will be a place in his administration for Albert Gore, Junior. AP:

Sen. Barack Obama said Wednesday he would give Al Gore, a Nobel prize winner, a major role in an Obama administration to address the problem of global warming.

If The Poodle's plans aren't starting to motivate the competition to support Republican John McCain, well...we'll just keep waiting for The Poodle to make even scarier pronouncements like including the Global Warming Alarmist as part of his Admin.

It wasn't that long ago that Liberals and Progressives had their delusion of grandeur that Albert Gore, Junior would be there candidate saviour, tossing his hat into the presidential race. Not. Going. To. Happen. Never.

Does anyone really think that The Man Who Would Not Be President is going to sit in the co-pilot chair for four or eight more years? But go ahead Libs, keep telling yourselves lies that you enjoy believing for this is your normal operating behavior.

As if the Democrat Party isn't already splitting at the seams with the debacles in failed attempts to seat Florida and Michigan and not to mention what everyone already knows - that the Democrat Politburo already has two divisive candidates tearing the party and its base apart - Junior Gore rides a white polar bear into the process somehow saving and uniting the party? Man, you folks really are delusional. It's beyond delusional, it borders on severe psychopathic mental disorders. But as I said, this is normal operating behavior for these sick and twisted freaks.

By the way, Liberals, when IS Junior Gore going to enter the presidential race? Many of you have said, "just wait and see, he'll enter the race." When does he make his announcement? On what date will Junior toss his name into the presidential race? Idiots.

Oh - and hey, Liberals and Progressives - could you inform me of something? I have a question. How's that recount in New Hampshire going for Dennis Kookcinich, did he win? Is he the King of Munchkin Land?

Randi Rhodes Suspended!

The below news is breaking Thursday afternoon, April 3, around 4PM Central Time, but is timestamped for Friday, April 4:

Woooooooooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

The below story couldn't happen to a more deserving rodent.

Air America Talker Randi Rhodes has been suspended. NY Daily News:

Air America Radio, which already has enough problems, suspended afternoon host Randi Rhodes Thursday for remarks she made during an off-the-air public event in San Francisco.

Rhodes called Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton a "f------ whore," several times, in the course of a standup comedy routine built on political bits.

Her specific problem with Clinton, said Rhodes in the routine, is that she's disingenuous: "Her deal is, 'Read the fine print, a-------.' "

    [...]

...Air America chairman Charlie Kireker issued a statement saying, "Air America has suspended on-air host Randi Rhodes for making inappropriate statements about prominent figures, including Senator Hillary Clinton, at a recent public appearance on behalf of Air America in San Francisco.

"Air America encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our hosts."

Kireker, a long-time Democratic party activist, has ties to the Clintons.

The suspension is "indefinite," giving Air America time to gauge public reaction. Sam Seder, who sat in for Rhodes when she was on vacation last week, also filled in today.

Rhodes was not available for comment.

Also a target of Rhodes' venomous attack was former Vice Presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro. FOX News:

Rhodes attacked Ferraro, the former vice presidential candidate [saying], “What a whore Geraldine Ferraro is, she’s such a f*****g whore.”

Indefinite suspension couldn't have happened to a more deserving, face-planting drunk.

Rhodes calling other women "whores." I think what she said is a clear case of psychological projection.

Rhodes is representative of the New Liberal and Progressive Left. A nice bunch of folks they are, yes? We can tell they want to "heal" the country by how they demonstrate such compassion for others whose only offense is (GASP!) they don't share exactly the same political views as the Insane Liberal Clown Posse. What a bunch of Crypto-Nazis.

I knew sooner or later her big fat hateful mouth would get her in trouble.

"Indefinite suspension...", Oh, Sweet, Glorious, Orgiastic Schadenfreude!

Obama Will Lose To McCain

I'm all for Osama Hussein Obama being the presidential Democrat candidate instead of Hillary Clinton MrsSatan. You're probably asking yourself why.

The answer is simple, John McCain - and God knows I have problems and issues with his stand on a whole range of issues - can beat Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle in November. I am much less certain that McCain can beat Hillary MrsSatan; she will steal the White House if given the opportunity.

The Poodle can be beaten. The wife of Satan cannot.

Go Obama! He has no gravitas!

Another Day, Another Ed Schultzian Rant About John McCain's Temper

On Wednesday
I wrote about Liberal Talk Radio's Ed Schultz's unrelenting and unwarranted rant, full of hyperbolic and inflated fear tactics (see how the Liberals use and play the "fear card"?) regarding John McCain's so-called temper.

Well, if the temper of a politician or candidate is such an important issue, as I wrote on Wednesday, we should apply the same Schulztian standard to Hillary Clinton. We've all heard the stories of her temper tantrums of throwing dishes and ash trays at Bubba and her vicious and hurtful treatment of staffers and underlings.

There is another candidate running for political office whose temper tantrums, short fuse and anger are widely known for being out of control, abusive, mean-spirited and fiercely malicious.

We should be examining this person's temper problems as microscopically close as Ed is examining the temper of McCain.

The candidate with the harsh and nasty temper and demeanor is Democrat Al Franken, who is running for U.S. Senate in the state of Minnesota. All you have to do is a Google search using the terms (sans quotation marks) "Al Franken's temper." You will be deluged with numerous stories supporting that FrankenFreak suffers from a classic and textbook case of Napoleonic complex.

Little Man, Short Fuse, Vile Temper=Al Franken

Go ahead, Ed, put FrankenFreak under the scope and examine his temper. You're not afraid to do that, are you, Ed? You wouldn't hold FrankenFreak to a different standard because he's a Democrat and McCain is a Republican, would you Ed?

Ed? Ed? Hello...?

Dave Thune: Master Asshat

Master Asshat Extraordinaire, Dave "Toothy Grin" Thune

The City of St. Paul is thinking it would be a good business decision to allow bars in St. Paul and those within a 10 mile radius of the city, to stay open for business serving alcohol until 4AM while the Republican Convention is in town.

Bars are already hurting under the onerous statewide No-Smoking law, so allowing them to stay open for an additional two hours seems like a good idea for them to make a few extra dollars while a major convention is in town, right?

Oh good Christ no, not to St. Paul City Council Asshat Dave "Toothy Grin" Thune, the pot-bellied, cigarette chain-smoker who uses Mooring Rope for dental floss.

Here's what "Toothy Grin" Thune had to say about allowing bars to stay open for two hours longer. MPR:

"Remember whose ward this is going to end up in -- it's mine. And I've got 8,000 people living downtown who don't want a bunch of puking Republican lobbyists on the streets at 4 in the morning."

Well "Toothy Grin Asshat", I don't know about the puking part of it, but it's your fellow Democrats that, in the past, have been the ones drunk and arrested for DWI:

Minnesota State Senator Democrat James Metzen;

Democrat Ted "Drunky" Mondale;

Democrat State Representative Tom Rukavina;

and former Democrat Duluth Mayor Herb "Don't Call The Cops On Me" Bergson.

Let's look again at "Toothy Grin's" statement: "Remember whose ward this is going to end up in -- it's mine."

Mine? Mine?!?

What a petulant little Stalinist. Typical, typical Liberal. "It's MY ward." No, it isn't your Ward, Toothy. It is the Peoples' Ward - you simply represent them. This pot-bellied minor politician's arrogance knows no bounds. His mental maturity is worse than that of a child smack in the middle of the "Terrible Twos" syndrome.
How in good Christ's name they re-elect him to office is one of the great mysteries of our time.

I don't live in St. Paul, so Toothy's little temper tantrums don't affect me or my life. I'm far beyond and removed from the fallout of Toothy's Hitleresque political tactics so GFY. Criticizing him and poking fun at him is one of the benefits of blogging. Whenever he opens his mouth and speaks, fatuous material comes puking out and is tailor made for blog fodder. He is a textbook microcosm example of everything that is wrong with politics.

Dave "Toothy Grin" Thune - doing everything in his power
to close businesses and turn St. Paul back into a ghost town.

Barack Hussein Obama's Many Sins And
The Lightweight Treatment By The MSM

When Will Obama's Free Ride End?

When does the Free Ride stop for Ted Kennedy's Poodle? When? When will he be held accountable and responsible for his words and his actions? When?

Specifically, when will the Democrats - who have spent the last seven years screaming that Bush and Cheney need to be held accountable and responsible - apply the same standard to Obama?

* His pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright preached hatred, anti-Semitism, racism and wild conspiracy theories.

* His church, the Trinity United Church of Christ, honored Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan. This is no different than if John McCain's church, or Mitt Romney's church had honored David Duke or the Grand Wizard of the KKK.

* His close adviser, "spiritual consultant" and delegate Rev. James T. Meeks is one of the "10 leading black religious voices in the anti-gay movement".

* His charitable donations - until he announced his run for the presidency - were pathetically, abysmally, virtually non-existent. Clearly Obama does not care about the poor, the homeless, the struggling middle class.

* He tried to pass off a $13,000 donation to the Congressional Black Caucus as a charitable donation and he got caught.

* He lied about the historical accuracy of how his father came to the United States.

* He claimed a breach of passport security, but then we learned that the CEO of the company that breached that security is an adviser to Obama on foreign policy and intelligence issues. The CEO also donated money to Obama's campaign.

* He refuses to place his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance and he won't wear a U.S. Flag pin on his lapel, but when he delivered his Philadelphia speech he made sure there were eight American Flags well-placed behind him so all the camera coverage wouldn't miss them.

* He attended a private high school for the elite and the privileged while claiming he identifies with the Middle Class.

* He claims he never heard anything controversial uttered by Rev. Wright while attending Mass, but then he flip-flopped and admitted that he did.

* He lied about his public stance on NAFTA, telling government officials from Canada that his anti-NAFTA stance is all just "for show."

* He claims there was no hanky-panky or shady special deals with the purchase of his home between him and Anton Rezko, but why should we believe him when the amount he paid was $300,000 below the asking price?

* He's had at least two campaign staffers resign because of inappropriate behavior.

* He had another campaign staffer who proudly displayed a Che Guevara flag on the wall of his campaign office.

* He regrets his vote to help Terri Schiavo.

* He voted, as an Illinois State Senator, six times to permit babies to die that survive an abortion procedure.

* He did fundraising for terrorists and terrorist-friendly organizations, primarily for Palestinians living in what the United Nations terms refugee camps. We don't yet know what other terrorist organization he may have helped fund-raise or is connected to.

* He has admitted that as president he is willing to invade a sovereign foreign country, something that the Left foams at the mouth over when it comes to George W. Bush and Iraq.

* He has plagiarized the words and speeches of others more than once.

* He hasn't addressed the allegations made by Larry Sinclair. Sinclair's answers to a polygraph are - at best - inconclusive, leading to the possibility of Obama doing rock cocaine as recently as 1999. Further, Sinclair says the he performed oral sex on Obama.

* He says "babies are a punishment." Yeah, he's really pro-family, isn't he?

* He attended a Madrassa as a youth.

* He is inexperienced and has no gravitas.

* He is a Muslim.

* He stocked the audiences attending his speeches with fake female fainters.

* One of his own supporters, State Senator Kirk Watson, is unable to list one single accomplishment of Obama.

* His wife denounced her own country, a country that gave her every opportunity to become the successful woman that she is today. She has a housekeeper and she sees a personal fitness trainer four times per week. Middle class? I think not.

The only reason he has any support from the Democrats is because of his Democrat opponent and challenger, Hillary Clinton. Even Democrats don't like her now. Any other former Democrat presidential candidate would have garnered the same supporting numbers as Obama running against Hillary Clinton.

Obama is receiving the same Free Pass from the Left and the MSM, bereft of all scrutiny and examination, that Bill Clinton received in 1992.

If Obama was a Republican, his presidential aspirations would have ended a long time ago. The Left would have seen to that. The MSM would have breathlessly reported on every item listed above, never ceasing to lead each and every news story with these issues

Debbie Stabenow's Husband Tom Athans Arrested For Prostitution

(Left): Tom Athans (Right): Nelson Muntz, because Schadenfreude Is Deliciously Tasty And Fun!

Debbie Stabenow is a Democrat U.S. Senator from Michigan. Her husband, Tom Athans, was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute on February 26. CNN:

The husband of U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow told police he used the Internet to make a date with a prostitute and paid her $150 for sex at a hotel, according to a police report.

Thomas Athans, 46, co-founder of the liberal TalkUSA Radio network [That would be "Air America." - Drake], was stopped by police who were investigating Internet-based prostitution at the hotel, according to a police report obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press under the state Freedom of Information Act.

    [...]

Troy police had set up a stakeout at the Residence Inn after learning of suspected prostitution at a room there February 25, the police report said. Officers said they saw Athans enter the room February 26 and leave 15 minutes later.

They stopped Athans' car and informed him they were investigating prostitution.

"Mr. Athans informed officers that he had just met a female at the Residence Inn, where he paid $150 for sex," the report said. It said the woman performed oral sex on Athans.

Police did not bring any sex charges against him but later mailed him a ticket for driving with a suspended license.

The Detroit News reports that:

...undercover officers investigating a possible prostitution ring in a room at the Residence Inn near Big Beaver (Road) and Interstate 75. Athans paid a 20-year-old prostitute $150 for sex in a Troy hotel but was not arrested, according to police reports obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by The Detroit News.

Big Beaver! Bwa ha ha ha! Go ahead, make up your own jokes!

A 20-year old...tisk, tisk, tisk...just a "child." Pathetic, Tom Athans, just pathetic.

And driving without a valid DL...Tom must consider himself "above the law."

Oh, Those Good Olde Fashioned Democrat Family Values!

Why Boycott The Olympics in China?

Why do the Liberals and Progressives want the United States to boycott the Olympics in China this summer? They say it's because of Tibet, but why do they care about Tibet? Why does The Left pretend to have selection outrage on the issue of Human Rights? They don't care about freedom or human rights for Iraqis, but they feign concern over Tibetans? Does The Left favor freedom for people with a Yellow complexion but not for people with Brown skin?

Do the Liberals recall Bill Clinton ignoring Rwanda? Hello... Selective Outrage Practicing Liberals...are you out there? Hello? Come out of your ostrich hole for a moment, I want to call your vast hypocrisy to your attention. Don't run away, face up to your Selective Outrage, you bunch of sissies.

Some LiberNazis say that President George W. Bush should not attend the Olympic ceremonies and should refuse to permit U.S. athletes to compete because this is what Jimmy Carter Cracker did in 1980.

Look, Carter's boycott of the Olympics was an embarrassment to him at the time and it still today is an embarrassment to him. Model oneself after Jimmy Carter? Well, there's nothing like aiming low, it seems to be the one thing at which Liberals excel.

The Olympics is supposed to transcend politics. It did in 1936. There's no reason it shouldn't in 2008. Maybe the Pinhead Liberals should familiarize themselves with history that dates back beyond...oh, I don't know...yesterday?

Christ, everyone in the world recognized Carter for the pussy he is when he couldn't even defend himself against a rabbit!

And, if it's been a while since you've watched it, here is The Rabbit of Caerbannog.

What do you think...should Bush or the U.S. boycott the China Olympics?

Bill Clinton's Superdelegate Meltdown

Oh, this is a funny one! A veritable knee-slapper and then some!

Bubba Unleashed

Bubba unleashed kick-ass anger on the Superdelegtes in Cali!

Bill Clinton delivered a tirade to the California Superdelegates. SF Gate:

The Bill Clinton who met privately with California's superdelegates at last weekend's state convention was a far cry from the congenial former president who afterward publicly urged fellow Democrats to "chill out" over the race between his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Barack Obama.

In fact, before his speech Clinton had one of his famous meltdowns Sunday, blasting away at former presidential contender Bill Richardson for having endorsed Obama, the media and the entire nomination process.

"It was one of the worst political meetings I have ever attended," one superdelegate said.

According to those at the meeting, Clinton - who flew in from Chicago with bags under his eyes [Maybe sleep deprived from being up all night snorting booger sugar? - Drake] - was classic old Bill at first, charming and making small talk with the 15 or so delegates who gathered in a room behind the convention stage.

But as the group moved together for the perfunctory photo, Rachel Binah, a former Richardson delegate who now supports Hillary Clinton, told Bill how "sorry" she was to have heard former Clinton campaign manager James Carville call Richardson a "Judas" for backing Obama.

It was as if someone pulled the pin from a grenade.

"Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that," a red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton erupted.

The former president then went on a tirade that ran from the media's unfair treatment of Hillary to questions about the fairness of the votes in state caucuses that voted for Obama. It ended with him asking delegates to imagine what the reaction would be if Obama was trailing by just 1 percent and people were telling him to drop out.

"It was very, very intense," said one attendee. "Not at all like the Bill of earlier campaigns."

Ed Schlutz Wonders About John McCain's Temper And Short Fuse

Liberal Radio Talker Ed Schultz hyperventilating during the opening his radio program on Wednesday saying that John McCain has a temper and asking what is McCain doing to control his temper. Schultz asked if McCain sought some type of counseling or if McCain is taking medication for temper control.

Ed said he wants someone as the president who is, "smooth." Oh, so you want a car salesman in the White House? You want another Slick Willie as president? Why didn't you just say so then?

Well Ed, why don't you tell us about your out of control temper, the widely reported stories of how you used to slap around and beat your first wife Maureen, and what you did to overcome it...um...if you did.

Ed, you're the man who knows firsthand about temper control issues. Did you feel like a tough guy after you turned Maureen's face black and blue? Did it make you feel like a HE-man hearing her cry and weep from the physical abuse you inflicted on her?

Tell us Ed, tell us. Share your own personal story of your short fuse and out of control temper.

Let me take a guess at how Ed's wife abuse went down. You'd slap her around, right Ed? She'd try to get away from you, but you'd grab onto her, holding her tightly as you slapped her around some more. She'd be crying - maybe bleeding - but you just kept on cuffing her over and over. You'd tell her to stop crying and she couldn't, and you'd pop her a few more times with a fist. Maybe she locked herself in a room hoping the door would keep you out, but it didn't. You'd break the door down and go right back to slapping her around. Later, maybe an hour - or a day or two - later, you promised you'd never do it again. You'd look at her black and blue spots, the puffiness of her skin, the bruises and say you were sorry; that it would never happen again. But soon you'd return to beating her all over again.

Am I close to accurately describing what it was like for Maureen living with you Ed? Tell us, Ed, tell us.

Oh Ed, you can say that you're not running for political office - thank God - but that doesn't absolve or forgive anyone for wife abuse, does it Ed? Tell us Ed, tell us - you have to be a textbook case on anger and temper control issues.

The irony is not only with how Ed treated Maureen. We have all heard the stories of Hillary Clinton's short fuse and temper, throwing dishes and ash trays at Bubba, of her screaming and yelling at staffers, assistants and underlings. Why doesn't Ed examine her temper control issues? Well, because both Ed and Hillary harbor out of control tempers and have short fuses.

Obama's Latest Spiritual Counselor,
Rev. James T. Meeks, Is A Homophobe

Obama Madness Continues

Ahhhhhh, how ironically rich...sweet, deliciously chocolaty, nougaty, creamy, caramel ironically rich!

The latest controversy surrounding Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle is his close relationship with and ties to Rev. James T. Meeks, a raging homophobe. Gay Wired:

Just as the dust surrounding Sen. Barack Obama’s long-term association with controversial minister Rev. Jeremiah Wright has begun to settle comes new reports of the democratic presidential hopeful’s connection to another racially divisive public figure—the stridently homophobic Rev. James T. Meeks, an Illinois state senator who also serves as the pastor of Chicago’s 22,000 member strong Salem Baptist Church.

Described in a 2004 Chicago Sun Times article as someone Barack Obama regularly seeks out for “spiritual counsel”, James Meeks, who will serve as an Obama delegate at the 2008 Democratic convention in Denver, is a long-time political ally to the democratic frontrunner.

    [...]

...Meeks himself served on Obama’s exploratory committee for the presidency and been listed on the Obama's campaign website as one of the senator’s ‘influential black supporters’, but his church choir was called on to raise their voices in praise at a rally the night Obama announced his run for the White House back in 2007.

Interestingly, the Chicago Sun Times has also reported that both Meeks and Obama share a history of substantial campaign contributions from indicted real estate magnate Tony Rezko.

    [...]

In the course of July 5, 2006 attack, Rev. James Meeks ranted:

"We don't have slave masters. We got mayors. But they still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able, or to be educated."

"You got some preachers that are house niggers. You got some elected officials that are house niggers. And rather than them trying to break this up, they gonna fight you to protect this white man," Meeks said in a sermon tape[.]

Perhaps of even more concern than race-baiting diatribes like these is Rev. Meeks disturbing history of antagonism towards the LGBT community.

A spring 2007 newsletter from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) named Meeks one of the "10 leading black religious voices in the anti-gay movement". The newsletter cites him as both “a key member of Chicago's ‘Gatekeepers’ network, an interracial group of evangelical ministers who strive to erase the division between church and state” and “a stalwart anti-gay activist… [who]… has used his House of Hope mega-church to launch petition drives for the Illinois Family Institute (IFI), a major state-level ‘family values’ pressure group that lauded him last year for leading African Americans in ‘clearly understanding the threat of gay marriage.'”

The SPLC newsletter also noted that, "Meeks and the IFI are partnered with Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council and the Alliance Defense Fund, major anti-gay organizations of the Christian Right. They also are tightly allied with Americans for Truth, an Illinois group that said in a press release last year that ‘fighting AIDS without talking against homosexuality is like fighting lung cancer without talking against smoking.’"

On a more personal level, Meeks has reportedly blamed "Hollywood Jews for bringing us Brokeback Mountain" and actively campaigned to defeat SB3186, an Illinois LGBT non-discrimination bill, while serving in the Illinois state legislature alongside Obama.

    [...]

But the question remains: At what point must a candidate for the highest office in the United States be held accountable for the small coterie of individuals who make up his or her inner circle and potentially bear influence on his interpretation of the constitution?

Rev. James T. Meeks: Homophobe, Obama Delegate And Spiritual Counselor

ACD News sums up the hypocrisy of Obama supporters:

It will be interesting to see how Obama's LGBT committee will attempt to diffuse the media blitz of this sad story. The Reverend Meeks' notorious homophobia is without question and Obama's buoyant pledge of allegiance to the anti-gay minister is unmistakable.

We'll see how - or if - the LGBT community responds to this. Will they treat Obama the same as if it were a Republican who had ties to a homophobe like Meeks? Oh, come on, you know the answer to that one.

Chimpy McObama Poodle?

Regular readers know that I've christened Osama Hussein Obama as Ted Kennedy's Poodle. But perhaps there is a better name.

Everyone has seen the below image, mostly reproduced at Liberal and Progressive web sites and blogs, comparing President George W. Bush to a chimp. Oh, those Libs, they are so funny and so clever, aren't they?

But it's Ted Kennedy's Poodle that really resembles a chimp. Often while watching television and The Poodle appears on some program, I mistake him for Whiplash, the Taco Bell monkey.

Anyways, I used the same format as the above Bush-chimp comparison, so decide for yourselves who looks more like a monkey; Bush or Ted Kennedy's Poodle.

Congress Puts On Another Dog And Pony Show With Oil Executives...Again

Well...I see the Dems in Congress put on their make-up, their fake hair (those that wear 'em) and grandstanded on the issue of oil profits...or should that be oil "gouging"? Bloomberg:

Executives from the world's top oil companies, in a congressional hearing today, told U.S. lawmakers that competition and high costs justify the industry's opposition to taxes increases.

Representative Edward Markey, a Massachusetts Democrat, hauled in executives from the oil industry to testify on record profits and gasoline prices before his Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming.

The House passed a measure in February over oil-industry objections that would impose $18 billion in new taxes on oil and gas companies to pay for wind and solar projects and energy conservation measures. The industry argues that the money should go toward exploring for and producing more fossil fuels, which executives say could help bring down prices.

Hmmmmm, let's see...placing higher taxes on oil companies. Gee...I wonder who will end up paying for those? This is an enigmatic mystery wrapped in a riddle. Please let me know if you have the answer because I sure am stumped on this one. I can't imagine who would wind up paying the cost of those additional taxes levied on the oil companies.

John Hofmeister, head of Royal Dutch Shell PLC's (RDSA) U.S. operations said, CNN:

...it was an embarrassment for the "hundreds of thousands of employees dedicating their lives to energy...to be vilified by their own government."

"Shame on Congress for not having recognized that its own public policies are costing consumers high energy prices."

Exactly!

I don't know if PBS' Charlie Rose's past programs are available to view on the web, but Hofmeister appeared on the show last Tuesday, I believe. I watched it. This guy knows exactly what the problem is and how to solve it. If it's available to watch on the web, I'd recommend it. Mr. Hofmeister would be the perfect person to be the next Secretary of Energy, and let him rule autonomously. And no, I have no idea what his political bent is, I don't care - it doesn't matter. Seek out the Rose-Hofmeister interview and watch it.

If you want to know who is guilty of price-gouging, it's the federal government along with most state and local governments.

Oh, and by the way, we're still waiting for Nanny Pelosi to implement her secret plan to reduce the cost of gasoline. We've been waiting since April 24, 2006. Maybe she's waiting for a second-year anniversary party?

Besides, I though Liberals liked high gasoline prices. People drive less and Ma Earth is much happier is what they told us. Why the whining, Libs? For years you wanted higher gas prices - like Europe has - and now you're bitching about it? Be careful what you wish for.

Bele Obama Caught Lying Again...
But Wait...There's More!

Bele Ted Kennedy's Poode: Another New Round of Lies

Is Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle...channeling John Kerry? Because the lies that Bele, Obama, The Poodle is telling are taking on Kerryesque proportions.

This time, he recognizes his own handwriting after claiming he didn't recognize his own handwriting. Politico:

During his first run for elected office, Barack Obama played a greater role than his aides now acknowledge in crafting liberal stands on gun control, the death penalty and abortion — positions that appear at odds with the more moderate image he has projected during his presidential campaign.

The evidence comes from an amended version of an Illinois voter group’s detailed questionnaire, filed under his name during his 1996 bid for a state Senate seat.

Late last year, in response to a Politico story about Obama’s answers to the original questionnaire, his aides said he “never saw or approved” the questionnaire.

“Sen. Obama didn’t fill out these state Senate questionnaires — a staffer did — and there are several answers that didn't reflect his views then or now,” Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for Obama’s campaign, said in an e-mailed statement. “He may have jotted some notes on the front page of the questionnaire at the meeting, but that doesn't change the fact that some answers didn't reflect his views. [Sniff, sniff - I smell dog shit, do you? - Drake]

    [...]

But a Politico examination determined that Obama was actually interviewed about the issues on the questionnaire by the liberal Chicago nonprofit group that issued it. And it found that Obama — the day after sitting for the interview — filed an amended version of the questionnaire, which appears to contain Obama’s own handwritten notes added to one answer.

    [...]

Obama and his then-campaign manager, who Obama’s campaign asserts filled out the questionnaires, were familiar with the group, its members and its positions, since both were active in it before Obama's 1996 state Senate run.

Through an aide, Obama, who won the group’s endorsement as well as the statehouse seat, did not dispute that the handwriting was his. But he contended it doesn’t prove he completed, approved — or even read — the latter questionnaire.

    [...]

Consider the question of whether minors should be required to get parental consent — or at least notify their parents — before having abortion.

The first version of Obama’s questionnaire responds with a simple “No.”

The amended version, though, answers less stridently: “Depends on how young — possibly for extremely young teens, i.e., 12- or 13-year-olds.”

By 2004, when his campaign filled out a similar questionnaire for the IVI-IPO during his campaign for U.S. Senate, the answer to a similar question contained still more nuance, but also more precision. “I would oppose any legislation that does not include a bypass provision for minors who have been victims of, or have reason to fear, physical or sexual abuse,” he wrote.

    [...]

It could also provide ammunition for a line of attack quietly peddled for some time by Republicans. They allege Obama has a penchant for blaming his staff for gaffes ranging from missing a union event in New Hampshire to circulating opposition research highlighting the Clintons’ ties to India and Indian-Americans to underestimating the amount of cash bundled for his campaigns by his former fundraiser, indicted businessman Antoin “Tony” Rezko.

So...he never saw or approved the questionnaire that had his handwriting on it? Amazing!

And it wasn't his handwriting...but then it was his handwriting...but wait, no, it was a "staffer's" handwriting - a staffer whose handwriting just happens to be exactly the same as Obama's handwriting. My, my, what an amazing coincidence!

And - most eye-popping of all, saying that "possibly" parents should be notified of their 12 or 13-year child receiving an abortion? Possibly? It's okay to require parental notification for tattoos or ear piercings for underage children, but not for a 12 or 13-year old seeking an abortion?

Wow - you Liberals and Progressive just kneel and worship - salivating - at the Altar of The Dead Fetus Baby, don't you? You just can't kill enough feti, can you? And yet, you use the number of dead in Iraq as a political tool. Has anyone told you how pathetic you are? In case not, I just did.

Please, Obamaniacs, tell me - when are you going to come out of your coma and hold Obama responsible for his lies, his other lies, his other other lies and his penchant for telling tall, tall tales that are not true?

I bet Obama blames his farts on the family dog, too!

But wait...there's more!

Ted's obedient Little Poodle!

In other Obama Poodle-related news, Obama took MONEY FROM OIL AND GAS LOBBYISTS! MSNBC:

The Clinton campaign today accused the Obama campaign of "false advertising," claiming that a recent ad Obama released in Pennsylvania was disngenous because Obama has been the recipient of more than $200,000 from the oil and gas industry.

In the ad, Obama says, "I'm Barack Obama, and I don't take money from oil companies or lobbyists, and I won't let them block change any more."

Obama has taken $213,884 from the oil and gas industry as of Feb. 29th, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

    [...]

Just last month, Obama took more than $11,000 from individuals at Exxon-Mobil, per the center. At least 12 of those contributions came from individuals who contributed $250 each, the lowest listed donation.

    [...]

Obama spokesman Bill Burton, reiterated that Obama doesn't take PAC money or money from federal registered lobbyists, and "that includes oil companies and oil lobbyists."

    [...]

"I don't take PAC money,” [Obama] said this evening. “I don't take money from federal registered lobbyists. I don't want those strings attached.”

He's LYING...AGAIN! STILL! But his cult-followers don't care. They don't care about his inexperience - or as I like to say his lack of gravitas, you know, the same thing said by Libs in 2000 about Bush. Apparently lacking gravitas isn't a factor if you are an Obamaniac.

Keep drinking the Kool Aid, Obamaniacs. Keep drinking. And while you do, Hillary will waltz away, stealing the Democrat Party Candidacy for president all because the Obamaniacs are too stupid to face the fact that their Poodle is a phony, a charlatan and a LIAR!

John Kerry's Hissy Fit On The Ed Schultz Show

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, the 2004 Democrat presidential candidate and LOSER John Kerry (correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he serve in Vietnam?) was upset on Monday's Ed Schultz program. Kerry said that John McCain stole his idea of a regional conference of Arabic leaders in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of a solution to the problem with Shia and Sunni.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, poor Kerry. He's almost as bitter a person as is Albert Gore, Junior, the Democrat presidential candidate and LOSER in 2000.

Let's check in and see what Baby Democrat has to say about this:

Hamas Puppet Show Child Stabs Bush

Is this the Hamas version of Kukla, Fran and Ollie?

A children's puppet show featured on Hamas TV shows a child stabbing President Bush to death. FOX News:

"Who are you to come here and threaten me?" Bush says in the puppet show video. "You are on my own turf, you little child, you. Get out."

The child tells Bush that he killed his father in the Iraq war, which made him an orphan.

"I have come to take revenge with this sword — revenge for my mother and my sisters," the child puppet says. "You are a criminal, Bush."

"I will kill you, Bush, because that is your fate," the child says before stabbing Bush repeatedly.

The show aired on Al-Aqsa TV on March 30.

Oh, those wacky Hamas Islamists, they're part of the Religion of Peace, dont'cha know!

Cell Phones More Dangerous Than Smoking!
Oh Noooooooooooo!

OMG! What will the Militant Non-Smoking Nazi Little Eichmanns do now? They have a new reason to wet their pants in terror!

How long before we see a campaign of, "No Second-Hand Radiation!"

A new study finds that radiation from cell phone handsets are more dangerous than cigarette smoking. All Headline News:

A recent study gave evidence that cellular phone use over a period of time poses health risks far greater than those obtained from smoking, or from exposure to asbestos.

The study, conducted by Dr. Vini Khurana, suggested that "there is a significant and increasing body of evidence for a link between mobile phone usage and certain brain tumors." "It is anticipated that this danger has far broader public health ramifications than asbestos and smoking," Dr. Khurana told the Independent.

He said that his assumption is based on the fact that there are three billion people who own a cell phone these days - a number that is three times that of smokers, five million of which die each year.

Dr. Khurana added that his arguments regarding the actual dangers of cell phone use will be "definitely proven" within the next decade.

"We are currently experiencing a reactively unchecked and dangerous situation," he said, as quoted by CNN. He also pointed out the dangers of the possible "life-ending diagnosis" of brain tumors that cell phone use may result to.

    [...]

Dr. Khurana is a renowned neurosurgeon who has received 14 awards in the past 16 years.

What Dr. Khurana is saying is probably true, and no, I'm not saying that with any sarcasm.

Those of you who aren't using a earpiece or headset are holding an electro-magnetic device next to your brain. It's your brain, people...your brain ! (Liberals excluded, we know your cranium is empty, thus you face no danger.../sarcasm).

Text yourself a reminder to take a healthy cigarette smoking break during the day!

If you recall the late Republican National Committee Chairman Lee Atwater, the man was never without a cell phone pressed to the side of his head. Michael Fumento, writing in IBD in February, 1993:

That's when David Reynard, appearing on Larry King Live, declared he was suing NEC America Corp. because its cellular phone had given his wife a fatal brain tumor.

    [...]

One of these is that brain cancers, which in recent years have killed such notables as CIA director William Casey, Republican National Committee Chairman Lee Atwater and football star Lyle Alzado, are by no means unusual. Many Americans own cellular phones, and therefore a number of cellular phone users will get brain cancer just by chance.

    [...]

Studies show that brain cancers suspected to have come from radiation therapy took nine to 15 years to develop.

Reynard, however, claimed he gave his wife her phone after she became pregnant and that she developed symptoms of her tumor during the same pregnancy. That gave her just a few months – not years – to develop the cancer.

Of course cell phone manufacturers are going to say there is no link between their product and brain tumors. Does anyone remember tobacco companies denying a link between their product and cancer? Hello, people - - - is anyone out there listening?

Maybe there is no link between holding a device next to your head that emits radiation and heat and their relation to brain tumors. Maybe it is only a coincidence. But while all this is being sorted out and research continues, use a headset or an earpiece and stop holding that damn phone next to your brain.

Take up cigarette smoking instead. It's far less insidious.
