Obama Boat Sinking

Osama Hussein Obama to Rev. Wright: "You're invited." (Pause), "On second thought..."

If Osama Hussein Obama Ted Kennedy's Poodle and his pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo close, then why did The Poodle
disinvite Wright from Obama's official candidacy pronouncement on February 10, 2007? L.A. Times Blogs:

Obama’s chief strategist, David Axelrod, who acknowledged during a conference call with reporters that Wright was disinvited ...[sic] from Obama's official candidacy announcement on Feb. 10, 2007, in the shadow of the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Ill.

Wright had been expected to lead an invocation of some kind, but never appeared.

“There was no doubt that there was controversy surrounding him,” Axelrod said Sunday. “And we didn’t want to expose him … [or] make him the target and a distraction on a day when Sen. Obama was going to announce his candidacy.”

So if the savvy Obama campaign knew Wright was a problem a year ago, why did the Illinois senator, a parish member for two decades, wait until last week to disassociate and denounce the minister's inflammatory statements?

Now, you can say what you want about the L.A. Times, but it could hardly be called a Right-of-Center newspaper.

It is as clear as can be that the Obama campaign knew then- and knows now - that the candidate's ties and relationship to Wright is explosive and harmful to Obama's candidacy. Now they are doing their best to spin, unspin, back-peddle and tread water. None of their efforts are working.

Ronald Kessler, writing for Newsmax, states Obama attended church services on July 22, 2007, the date of a raging anti-American sermon delivered by Wright. Newsmax:

In his sermon that day, Wright tore into America, referring to the, "United States of White America", and lacing his sermon with expletives as Obama listened. Hearing Wright's attacks on his own country, Obama had the opportunity to walk out, but Davis said the senator sat in his pew and nodded in agreement.

Addressing the Iraq war, Wright thundered, "Young African-American men were dying for nothing." The "illegal war," he shouted, was "based on Bush's lies" and is being "fought for oil money."

The Obama campaign claims The Poodle was not there on July 22, that he was in Miami. However, there were several services that day - as many churches offer on Sunday - including 7:30 and 11 AM, and at 6PM, which certainly - especially the 7:30AM and 6PM mass times - would have allowed The Poodle more than ample time to be in both Chicago and Miami.

And a Gallup poll shows Hillary Clinton leading by 2 points over Osama Hussein Obama. Gallup:

Gallup Poll Daily election tracking from March 14-16 finds Hillary Clinton's bid for the 2008 Democratic nomination supported by 47% of national Democratic voters, and Barack Obama's candidacy favored by 45%.

    [...]

While not statistically significant, Clinton's two percentage point advantage in today's report is a notable shift, particularly in light of the political storm Obama has faced over the past few days concerning controversial political statements made by the former pastor of his Chicago church.

Is the Obama Boat taking on water and starting to sink? Fo' Shizzle!

Great synopsis of the disaster in progress. I am waiting to hear Mr. O's attempt today to minimize damage with yet another speech.

Everybody say a big "Hello" to President John McCain. Obamama is headed downhill. The evil Bitch has got to be wetting her pants. Actually, it won't matter who the Dem nominee is. One, this country is not ready for a black president. Sorry, but were're not. Yankees don't understand this, but good ole boys from down South, do. Lots of liberals are jumping on the bandwagon, thinking that this will once and for all appease the guilt they are feeling for slavery. There just hasn't been enough time passed yet. If it's her evilness, then the Republican party will come out in droves to defeat her. There's no better way to fire up the troops than to have her as the opposing candidate.
BTW, where's the post about the Supreme Court and gun control laws.
Sounds like it was a good hearing today.

I will try to get to the Sup Court and the Second Amendment case later this week Modesto.

Good comment from you, as usual.

I have no problem with a woman or a black man, or a black woman or any other person being in the White House. But I base it on as long as THAT PERSON IS QUALIFIED. And in my opinion, neither Obama or HRC are qualified. McCain is, tho I am still adverse to him I am trying to move in the direction of supporting him come November.
