Ratings, Ratings, Who's Got The Ratings?

President Bush approval ratings, plus or minus 3 points, is at 34% according to USA Today/Gallup.

The Belfast Telegraph puts his approval ratings at 28%.

Rasmussen puts his job approval at 37%.

Angus Reid shows:

In a survey by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, 35 per cent of respondents approve of the way the American president is handling his job, up one point since February.

The approval rating of Congress doesn't fare much better:

Quinnipiac reporting for the period of April 25 - May 1 Congress had an approval rating of 39% with a disapproval rating at 52%.

Thankfully, we don't govern based on poll popularity. Well...at least not since the Bubba Clinton era.
